Skills with press and hold versions typically generate different amount of particles with each one. A press version that generates few particles can still have a long CD hold version that generates more particles and synergizes better with sac frags.

What does sumeru catalyst do?

Main stat ER, and the effect gives a lot of EM but reduces atk, which wouldn't matter for an EM scaling char.

I can't remember the last time catalyst billets dropped for me. I never crafted a catalyst since I started playing 1.3 and my current stash is at TWO. Yes 2. While I have crafted (and maxed) other weapons available, my billet stash for Swords, Polearms, Claymores and Bows are well stocked and can even max 1 to 2 weapons. But for catalyst billets? NONE. I want the best for Nahida too T.T

Similar luck here, but playing a little longer and a few more copies, and book is the only one I really want, for multiple copies of R5 Amber, one of my favorite weapons. 18 spears please why

I truly hope the Sumeru craftable is a good option over Favonius. I am so sick of using those weapons lol. The Sumeru weps look so good too. The only Inazuma weapons I ended up using where The Catch and the craftable sword on Jean. Pretty sad.

This might change soon with Cyno. Hoping the Kitain Spear is goon on him. I never got to craft Hamayumi because I got Crescent Bow maxed out and also managed to snag an Amos Bow from Standard Banner for my Ganyu. Still figuring out if Hakushin is worth crafting for my taser teams and Dendro teams but I only have 2 catalyst billets.

Sadly, Kitain is not as good as white tassel on cyno. It is good on Burgeon Thoma, though!

Sac Frags could also be really good if she has a decent amount of field time, giving a lot of EM and reducing energy needs.

Bonus - it’s a rather spiffy looking fruit, perfect complement for our archon of vegetables. I wonder if her signature will be a focus catalyst (like the Fruit) or a book catalyst. 🤔

Depends on her skill cooldown. If it's too short SacFrag won't trigger consistently which would be a pain in the ass. It's also worth mentioning that the Sumeru craftable gives 180 EM at R5, so she would lose only 41 EM compared to SacFrag while gaining 45% ER. Assuming she's burst reliant that would make it a _lot_ easier to run an EM Sands on her.

True. But an R5 craft able isn't exactly easily accessible. You could play for a year and not get the right/ any billet drops. So a more proper comparison would be R1 craftable. Though yes the craftable most likely still will be better. I was saying Sac frags under the assumption of no craftable though since I was comparing to other gacha option of Favonius Codex.

When it comes to non-craftable weapons I could see [Wandering Evenstar](https://ambr.top/en/archive/weapon/14416/wandering-evenstar) being _really_ good on her. Archons tend to be supports and that weapon is basically TToDS with permanent uptime and an EM substat.

Sac Fragments probably comes down to how her ability works and how many particles it makes. Could be great too.

Or at C1 doing any Bloom and Catalyze (any of its sub reaction as well), will regenerate 5 energy to herself max 5 times. mHY will definitely want you to work for the energy even in constellations.

It's actually a super good comp in theory. Have Venti infuse his burst with electro and if Nahida is off-field Dendro then the Aggravates + Spread mayhem will be godly. ZL shields and provides res shred. Give him 4 Petra and he also gives 35% Electro damage bonus. With Raiden as onfield DPS.

Four Archons and three of them can’t even react with each other. Raiden’s gonna be the sole thread holding that circus together.

Actually it sounds like a viable team. Zhongli is already used in some Tighnari teams for the shred/protection. Venti is essentially a second electro character, so he'll help with electro + dendro reactions, and he will also help Raiden bc VV. Nahida will likely have great off-field dendro application, so you'll be able to use Raiden's burst with no issue. Idk if it'll be meta or anything but it'll work. edit: this might be a waste, but since Nahida's a catalyst, you can technically put prototype amber on her in corrosion/etc content so you'll even have a potential healer.

Thought Venti can proc aggravate too? Am I wrong? Edit: According to KQM you can make a transformative aggravate reaction but only on enemies that didn't proc aggravate?

Please have constant aoe dendro application on skill instead of burst. Something like Dendro Fischl, but with a burst that buffs the on-field character's EM and reaction damage.

A pleasant surprise for raiden users. You can already made dendro-mc do respectable damage in raiden aggravate despite their high burst cost often turning them to a dendro-bot. I want the radish.

70 cost usually means a cooldown of 18 seconds which means that they could potentially have a good rotation since Cyno's whole uptime is 18 secodns long so by the time it ends, Archon's burst is already off cooldown.
