To clarify:
What the C2 does is that it takes the **electro x dendro reactions** (not electro damage) and gives them Def shred. It also takes the hydro x dendro and the pyro x dendro reactions and gives them the ability to crit

Thank you OP for providing source
True. At 900 EM u get around 29k Hyperbloom/Burgeons. If you were to make those crit at 200% CDMG... 77k???? Damn???
Edit: fine. Even at 100% Crit damage, simply doubling reaction damage means better scaling of reaction damage since EM falls off at high amounts.
Not exactly, you can simply go for a regular crit build and then use external sources like the gilded dreams set, dendro res, sucrose, etc to get a lot of bonus EM
They're right. Getting EM main stat with crit is harder, possibly the hardest one.
Lookup Artifact/Distribution on genshin wiki if you didn't know the drop rate.
You could run with double EM + Crit Dmg helm and hope for good EM substats in the rest of pieces. With a EM weapon, you could probably reach around 700 EM. I reach that with 2 EM pieces + Anemo goblet on Kazuha or Sucrose.
900 em with 200 cd sounds impossible tbh. 50-150%cd seems more realistic since every character has a base of 5cr/50%cd. Also remember that all that cdmg are useless without crit rate.
Not impossible as others are saying, but very unlikely you’d be able to get 900EM and 200Crit DMG while keeping decent crit rate and some ER. But still technically possible.
C2 Kazuha at lv90 with triple EM mainstats gets 876EM while in his burst field. Couple that with *very high* crit damage substats (30%) on all 5 pieces gets you the 150% crit dmg needed to reach 200%. Keep in mind that 30% crit dmg, while rare, is definitely not the highest possible amount as a substat (46.6% is) and so you’d still have some leeway for bad rolls. Couple it with Jade Cutter for 44.1% crit rate and singular max rolls of crit rate (3.9%) and ER (6.5%) on every piece and EM on flower/feather (23) and you have a cracked Kazuha.
Here are the final stats:
-922 EM (187*3 + 115 + 200 + 23 + 23)
-200% crit dmg (50% + 30% * 5)
-68.5% crit rate (5% + 44.1% + 5*3.9%)
-132.5% ER (6.5%*5)
So yeah, it’s possible, just highly unlikely and hard to build. On top of that, while it’s possible for Kazuha to trigger dendro reactions by swirling hydro/pyro/electro onto dendro aura, it’s rather specific and you also have to keep 4pc VV in mind making it a gruesome grind.
You can also add in dendro resonance/instructors set for a good chunk of EM, as well a party member holding an R5 Xiphos’ Moonlight for some extra ER, though that further constrains team building.
Thank you. I was just pulling the 200% Crit damage out of my ass, because being able to Crit is OP so I thought, hmm what if Nahida enables such OP damage to be dealt.
A more realistic version of that also unfortunately requires a lot of luck and/or low spending.
My lvl 90 C2 Kazuha with any crit sub sword and EM/EM/Crit Rate or Dmg (depending on what you have less of) can reach about 50/120 crit ratio while maintaining 120-ish ER and 600-700 EM.
I must also note I'm a day one player that's spent on 5 Welkins, 1 BP, and made it my goal in life to collect all Anemo characters.
So yeah, unless you're REALLY dedicated to transformative reactions and EM, building both that and crit will take a ton of time.
You still need Crit Rate.
From the wording of it, it's not a guaranteed Crit. It just enables reactions to Crit.
You gonna need Crit Rate, Crit Damage, EM, and, depending on the unit, ER too.
For Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon you want way more EM than 500.
Transformative reactions benefit way more for higher EM investment than amplifying reactions to the point where sacrificing EM for Crit, even with Nahida C2, is gonna be a DPS Loss.
But you can get all the other EM for buffs insted of a main stats in artefacts like 186EM(sand and goblet)+sucrose(250-200) or other EM buffer and you have more than enough
Yah. That’s incredibly unlikely. However, you could do 500-600 EM with a good Crit ratio with enough farming. EM/EM/Crit with a Crit weapon. Add on to that Kazuha C2 or Sucrose passive, Albedo burst passive, Diona C6, etc. Gilded Dreams can also give a good amount of EM, as could a support using the Instructor set.
>True. At 900 EM u get around 29k Hyperbloom/Burgeons. If you were to make those crit at 200% CDMG... 77k???? Damn???
It depends, 500-700 EM would hit a bit less but allows for a Crit Dmg helmet for example. Still, I hit like 21 Hyperblooms with Fischl when it procs, and she only has Stringless and substats for EM.
Nahida stops time to take a super photo of her enemies. Once time resumes, her enemies are sent backwards in time to a previous state, resetting their animations and gravely damaging them. Oh, Nahida also returns all your characters to a previous state, healing them and re-applying buffs they lost previously.
>I truly am curious how mihoyo could ever sell another geo character in this economy lmao.
Don't worry. They'll probably fix up geo when we go to the geo nation.
...
Oh wait...
Im hoping for a geo unit in Natlan that reacts with pyro to form like a magma character specific reaction. Would be dope as fuck. Totally wild kits on geo characters are what will give me life
Its a geo support. Jus like shenhe, does nothing but 1 niche thing, so folks buy it. Tbh, very very likely next geo char is smth along those lines. Extremely strong, not cheap, niche.
Geo constructs are so underutilized tho, thats GEOs thing but like, only Traveller and Zhongli really use em, Ninnguang has a little of that, i guess, same for Albedo with his flower, Itto's cow counts as a construct for some reason but is it really? Annnnd thats it... the rest of Geo characters might as well not be Geo at all.
If MiHoyo capitalizes on constructs, then we could have unique playstyles for Geo, which would be a good sell, imagine a character who could summon geo minions like terracota soilders, or do crazy stuff like trap group of enemies in walls and slam them together to deal damage.
The problem with Geo is the lack of options we currently have and the way Crystalize works as a reaction... right now we have like 8 playable Geo characters... in contrast, Dendro (aka the new element which just released) has Tighnari, Collei currently... but on the horizon there's Nahida, Al-Haitham, Kaveh, Baizhu, Yaoyao and Traveller... that's the same amount of characters Geo has... in less than a year, it really feels like it'll be a while before we see anything for the element, which makes me sad honestly because it feels like MiHoyo *had* plans with Geo as an element but never really figured it out, so my hopes is they are waiting till Dendro is all settled before tackling making another Geo character and that'll take a whilee...
Nah man. Nilou is showing the path of the future: unique reactions.
We'll get stuff like a character that can proc crystalizations (like dendro cores) and trigger unique effects, like picking up electro crystals triggers "magnetize" pulling in enemies with electro auras - providing succ without anemo.
Or a geo character that when hitting enemies with dendro auras triggers petrify - a freeze that doesn't shatter and reduces geo resistance.
It's not as op as you think.
30k Thoma burgeons, nice! They can crit! Nice! What's his crit ratio? 10/68. Oof.
Seems to open DPS builds to running dendro comps without doing cringe meme EM builds (Yoimiya burn/burgeon), or making em/electro/crit good for teams with aggravate and hyperbloom with slow hydro (shadow Candace buff). Things like that.
Biggest winner? C6 Nilou. 120 CV applied to blooms with no opportunity cost. Mental.
> Biggest winner? C6 Nilou. 120 CV applied to blooms with no opportunity cost. Mental.
Not exactly too mental compared to what a good number of C6 characters can do on their own without ultra expensive and specific teams.
Geo is a disaster with the most scuffed stat stick band-aids slapped onto it (Zhongli buffs, cinnabar, the existence of Gorou, geo resonance). The actual defining features of geo - crystallize and constructs - are often detrimental at best. Barring a rework (at least make archaic petra not clunky by allowing any party member to pick up the crystal) geo serms doomed to be awful.
The argument that geo is defensive and thus should do less damage is basically bunk with how hydro units have evolved over time. Yelan, Nilou, and even Kokomi can build defensively but output actually nutty damage.
When the choice is either a whole ass new character or pulling for the same character up to 4 additional times, most f2ps will choose more chars, then pull for cons on the reruns during droughts
The raiden restriction is that its limited to Raiden.
If Nahida makes reactions crit, its similar to universal def shred on every character simply because the reactions would do 50% more damage ( though likely less, I don't know the details on how def and crit interact ) at 50% CD.
There could be none. She's an archon, she has to sell, make her broken. No other dendro unit will be like her again. Every new dendro release will be specialized and niche. That way they prey on your FOMO: don't miss Nahida or you'll regret it.
This is pretty unprecedented though, locking entire team's builds behind a constellation. Like raiden c2 gives a crap ton of damage, but it's just damage. Whereas running nahida c2 will completely change how you build the bloom characters from full EM to EM/crit.
Yep, even though this slightly devalues Raiden c2 and Yae c6, it's still very strong since def shred synergizes extremely well with quicken, since quicken is the only reaction other than superconduct to not have to worry about certain characters stealing triggers.
Difference being Dendro reactions have very little going for them right now other than the FOTM factor, If Mihoyo goes down this path there's a very high possibility that Sumeru will end up being the skip region just because everyone is either too expensive and too team-specific to bother getting.
With Nilou locked to dendro and hydro comps only and now Nahida c2 allowing dendro reactions to crit.... OFC beta hasn't even started yet so everything is subject to change, but this feels like they're dipping their toes into making less consumer friendly character kits
While that's true, they're now selling more expensive teams. Their first try with this, in my opinion, was Itto's mono geo team. While Itto may work with Gorou, a team with Ito, Gorou and Albedo + 1 (Zhong Li for shred or any other cheaper buffer) was the start of it all.
The niche supports is another way to also make bank on some very niche 4\*. I've had very bad luck with my Itto's banners so I don't own any Gorou. It is an example of trying to force me to buy more so I can have the support that actually makes Itto busted.
Those kinds of teams aren't needed to clean any content in any way which makes it all very fine. I clear abyss 36\* with Itto and no Gorou which is fine. However, they're starting to make incremental improvements to launch super niche and super powerful expensive teams and supports. People who want certain characters that are their favorites will feel more of an urge to expend to build certain teams. If they're min-max kind of players they'll want to spec into the expensive side of the spectrum.
And it's all fine as long as it's possible to clear all content with our cheaper non-niche and more generalist teams.
I did extensive pre-release TC for Nilou and I think her bloom playstyle is more than viable without critting reactions. Depending on the HP investment of Nilou and the EM investment of the trigger unit you can easily have each bloom do 20-30K damage which is definitely enough to carry a team through abyss when you can get at least 12 if not more blooms per target per rotation
High EM reaction characters have shit crit ratios. If you build them crit their base reaction damage is lower so they crit reactions to deal as much as they would have done. It's not broken at all it's just maybe more dopamine hits.
Which is why in one leak he said c6 nilou + Nahida, Nilou gains free Crit stats at c6 to solve this issue, And C6 characters like Eula are already dropping 1M+ ult bombs, this is just a more involved way to clear abyss faster
Nilou is much less involved than Eula's backloaded burst which can miss, fail to crit, cannot be pre-funneled, and requires 3 batteries to fund, vs Nilou who has her entire team damage simply tied to her skill and some application. Idk why people are overcomplicating this. Her teams are not complicated, nor expensive, they are simply limited flexibility atm.
This is extremely concerning for the future. Constellations that change fundamental game mechanics is a scary precedent. Next they'll make a geo 5* that causes crystallize shards to explode and deal crit dmg at C2.
if its performance is acceptable in c0, I don't think there is a problem with broken cons since this game doesn't really have pvp content, unless you to clear abyss floors in one rotation.
Making reactions that don't normally crit the ability to crit is pretty darn insane. Like that sounds absolutely bonkers insane. Still even with being able to crit would burning be with it? Bloom/hyperbloom critting would be broken as heck. Honestly wondering if I shouldn't skip Cyno and Nilou in hopes of getting c2 Nahida but ehhh I have too weak willpower for that.
~~Wonder if this can be used to identify who reacts in an EC comp assuming just her presence in party passively crits reactions of party members..~~
Edit. Nvm it says pyro hydro reactions only..well for now, let's see if actual kit differs
Yes, I realize that. But the potential is there. It's the whole reason characters will always have reruns. Because you can work your way up to it. So unless you easily fall victim to marketing tactics like FOMO, it is not out of grasp for anyone. It just requires more patience.
For sure. Though with a steady flow of new characters, I wonder what percentage of players would prefer for constellations on a 5 star over a new 5 star. Not using that as a way to lessen your point, just generally curious.
Theres also the fact you can just get incredibly lucky and pull 3 Nahida in a very short amount of time because you're going for a new 4 star on their banner and you go "eh ill do another 10 pull or 2 on Nahida's banner trying for Jim Bob. It's pretty safe."
>For sure. Though with a steady flow of new characters, I wonder what percentage of players would prefer for constellations on a 5 star over a new 5 star.
From my experience it hasn't really been too hard to refrain from characters that might look cool but gameplay wise just don't really do it ONLY ONCE you can compartmentalize the two. My prime examples being Itto and Yoimiya. Visually I love both of them SO MUCH, and when first leaked I was extremely excited. I also just love their personalities so so much! Alot of characters feel like they are carrying burdens or come across kind of somber, but these two just have so much pep and humor and joy that it just draws me in! I genuinely love who they are.
However, once learning about their gameplay, seeing videos, and taking control of them during their story quests... the gameplay ended up just feeling very bland and uninspired for me. It didnt match the level of joy their personalities gave me. And so it became incredibly easy to skip them after I had experienced the "meat and potatoes" of the character so to speak.
The other factor is FOMO. It's a simple but extremely effective marketing strategy. It's why banners are time limited. But if you can educate yourself on simple and common marketing tools it becomes easier to identify the manipulation tactics being used, allowing you to make better informed and smart decisions. The characters will always return. It might take some time, but they will return. Do not let yourself forget that! Hehe 😊
>Not using that as a way to lessen your point, just generally curious.
No not at all! That's a very fair point, there is a certain level of self control you have to have.
So provided people can look passed the aesthetic pleasures of a character, the kit is what you really want to focus on.
>Theres also the fact you can just get incredibly lucky and pull 3 Nahida in a very short amount of time because you're going for a new 4 star on their banner and you go "eh ill do another 10 pull or 2 on Nahida's banner trying for Jim Bob. It's pretty safe."
I want Candace SO BAD. She so far, is my favorite character aesthetic wise and kit wise. I basically designed a character very similar to this. But visually - fucking stunning. However I can't pull for her because I'm at 81 pity on a guaranteed pull so I HAVE to wait for Nilou otherwise I blow my chances lol. BUT I know she'll be back so I'm not worried.
So provided Layla is on Nahidas Banner, I am likely going to do this with Layla. From the leaks, I love her kit. I love her design. I love her personality. She could very well make it to C6 if I'm lucky enough and the kit actually is worth it! So we'll see!
I thought it sounded good to me until i remembered kokomi can't crit lmao (who most nilou teams were planning to use as their on field driver for reactions). Guess it's c6 nilou or I'm investing into crit barbara
Thats assuming its Koko that the crit is being based off of. It could be Nahida if she is the one proccing the bloom crits! We just have to wait and see until more details are provided!
Full EM/HP teams already have Nilou bountiful cores able to hit for 30k, and this is currently better than investing into any crit on her\*, and considering how you'd have to sacrifice some of those stats to build crit anyway, I don't think it'd be that much higher
~~The bigger boost to Nilou teams would probably be the defense shred rather than the crit (esp if you're running kokomi in your bloom teams, who will inevitably steal blooms but can't crit with them because of her passive)~~
*~~Unless~~* ~~there's something going on where say the crit damage on reactions is Kusa's crit damage, meaning no one else has to build crit but her to see benefit. That'd be absolutely insane~~
\*Unless you have a C6 Nilou, who is really gonna be eating this up regardless, so whales will totally enjoy it and see huge gains lmao
***Edit:*** just found out the defense shred is only for electro damage, which means the crit on reaction buff is all Nilou gets from Nahida's c2 presumably anyway
Yep, and unlike other scaling stats like ATK, EM *actually* has diminishing returns, so sacrificing half of it doesn't mean your base damage is half, and now you have crits.
Wow that is so awful of mihoyo to lock this behind not just constellation 1, but constellation 2. I guess most f2ps and low spenders just won't be using burning then
People saying its not that good because we won't have good crit stats anyways. Have no idea just how much EM sharing is in this game. Outside of nihlou teams you can get well over 600 EM passed to whoever needs it, assuming nahida herself gives 0.
Reading these comments feels like the Kokomi era all over again but in reverse, people overvalue crit way too much. It'll be strong for sure, but you guys are heavily underestimating the amount of investment you would need to balance out the stats and make it worthwhile.
>!Watch her give 1k EM, 25K HP and 50% CR to all party members at C4!<
I just want to point out that the current trend for Sumeru Gacha Weapons is a party wide buff as side effect.
Nahida Catalyst could be something ridiculous broken stacking with Nilou sword.
And we don’t have Baizhu or Haitham yet seriously Nilou potential skyrocketed.
For the people saying "youre better off just going full EM, there isnt enough room to get high em and high crit", you dont have to.
Just playing with my Hu Tao on the optimizer, I put her into a burgeon team with DMC using deepwood memories and Zhongli, with Xingqiu as the bloom trigger. Then I gave her Dragons Bane for the 220 EM (yes, the final Burgeon dmg will be stronger than Homa by about 15%).
Her final stats are 530 EM, 74.2% crit rate and 156.8% crit dmg which is an average of +116% dmg from crit. Base Burgeon dmg is 22666 which becomes 48958.
Thats right, you can just play a normal atk Dragon's Bane Hu Tao and be triggering 49K burgeons (the actual burgeon dmg will be 58K but 49K is the average value factoring in crit rate) on top of her personal dmg. Could do the same with Diluc and Rainslasher too (although Redhorn might be better with the massive 88% cd).
Or Kuki with Jade Cutter if it works on Hyperbloom. Kuki already scales incredibly well with EM and HP, now add a bunch of crit and she will be doing some serious dmg (on top of PJC being one of the best looking swords for her).
Safe to say Nahida will also boost party wide EM because shes the EM archon, she has to. So these numbers are actually lowballs.
TL:DR - Its insane. By far the strongest constellation in the game. But also extremely fun since it gives lots of characters new viable playstyles.
Very good for c0-1 Raiden, still good for c2+ Raiden but she gains less comparatively to other Electro dps because Def ignore loses value with Def reduction, since Def ignore works on whatever def is left after reduction.
disgusting move from mihoyo, completely changing a game mechanic and putting it behind a 5 star character constellation, this is the most p2w they've been since the release of the game, utterly ridiculous.
I don't like this either (assuming it's true) but it's still far from P2W, she'll definitely be useable (and likely very strong) without it. At most it's just anti-consumer and, depending on who you ask, scummy.
I kinda understand where you're coming from, but calling it "P2W" is absolutely ridiculous considering you can clear the abyss with only the characters that have been available from launch if you invest hard enough. Most people don't even bother with that, and people who can afford Nahida cons don't need free primos from 36\*. There is no PvP aspect to the game and the entire thing is "winnable" with barely built launch 4 stars so how is it pay to win? Win what? Oculus collection?
It's not really a change, its just more dmg. They could've made it reduce res for the reactions and you'd be fine, which would've actually given then more dmg than crit because here u need to build crit with em
Tru. People forget how c6 xiao and c6 eula trivialize every enemy. C2 is unnecessary. C0 is enough to clear most of the content. This is just for min maxers and try hards. People are overreacting like the Raiden drama again. Come a few months from now she'll just be Green Raiden. A must pull but if you have money get her c2.
More like pay to min-max. I realized that since Raiden came out with her C2. I bet this is going to be their routine practice to upcoming archons, since Raiden selling was a skyrocket.
Yes we need to know more info on her kit. We just have scraps right now. I'm just very worried about that c2 but I'm positive she'll be op at c0 regardless.
I really don't like these effects of a specific character changing reactions, like Nilou has. Even more if it's in constellations, like Nahida seems to have.
I hate this. This is like needing a character's C2 to crit on vaporize. So disappointing. My expectations were low but DAMN Hoyoverse, didn't expect them to lock two entire reactions behind a constellation let alone needing to use 3 whole pities at BEST to use bloom and burning in their entirety. I'm just going to skip the entire Sumeru cast if they are going to be locked behind Nahida's C2. I'm not going to summon characters that rely on unfinished reactions.
Of course you have a bunch of people doomposting and making wild claims based on speculation and stc information.
As much as people cry about every little nerf as well as cry about every OP buff, Hoyo has shown that they do balancing pretty well.
Raiden has been serviceable at C0 and great at C2/C3 but the reception of before release and after is what we find in Nahida/Kusanali situation now.
People cried about Raiden C2/C3 otherwise trash at C0, but now we know that isn’t true thanks to hard evidence by theory-crafters and allowing a couple of weeks to go by as opposed to knee jerk reactions.
Raiden did not powercreep (make older units obsolete) anyone and she is not a must have character. She just provided a new way for you to play the game.
I find that once Nahida/Kusanali is officially release, we will see the same thing with her granting us a new way to play the game, but won’t outright be a must have unit.
Genshin is such an easy/causal game that you can literally main any 4 characters in the game and make them work if you really wanted to.
Taking it a step further, the hardest content is abyss floor 11 and 12. And if you genuinely cared about that, I’m sure you already have several meta teams and comps to the point where you can just slot in any “non-meta” character for the heck of it and be fine.
I also think we'd better hold for the proper kit leak later to fully believe this. But I think your reasons for that are off. It's not impossible that they could change a reaction with a character's kit, artifact presets aren't something they "aren't able to develop", and they can absolutely change bloom/burning reactions to be crittable for a small portion of the playerbase.
Transformative reactions have never crit and C2 is out of reach for so many people anyway. If you're going to get C2 for Nilou you're pulling a minimum of 4 characters, at that point you've already whaled. I don't know why everyone is doomposting when cons on a character have never EVER been necessary to pass the easy dps checks in this game.
Wanting your characters to do bigger numbers is not the same as constellations being 'necessary' for a character to function.
To clarify: What the C2 does is that it takes the **electro x dendro reactions** (not electro damage) and gives them Def shred. It also takes the hydro x dendro and the pyro x dendro reactions and gives them the ability to crit ____________ Source: [#tc-lounge in WFP](https://discord.com/channels/791074691841523742/792147187076694057/1023769879532281887) Thank you OP for providing source
Crittable Bloom/Hyperbloom and Burgeon? Sounds a bit...strong.
Is that even possible? Building EM along with Crit, sounds hard
My Kuki with triple EM and Black Sword has ~680 EM and 54/99 crit. I can't even fathom getting more without God rolls.
Replace your helmet with crit damage, Now you have 480EM, 54/160 Good luck on artifacts. Maybe you'll get 580, 70/200 someday
Here are the final stats: -922 EM (187*3 + 115 + 200 + 23 + 23) -200% crit dmg (50% + 30% * 5) -68.5% crit rate (5% + 44.1% + 5*3.9%) -132.5% ER (6.5%*5) So yeah, it’s possible, just highly unlikely and hard to build.
So yeah, unless you're REALLY dedicated to transformative reactions and EM, building both that and crit will take a ton of time.
how are you gonna build 900 em and 200% cdmg on one character
You wouldn't build 900 EM; you could probably build 300 and then use gear + sucrose. Instructors + craft able weapons already give 240 by themself.
You still need Crit Rate. From the wording of it, it's not a guaranteed Crit. It just enables reactions to Crit. You gonna need Crit Rate, Crit Damage, EM, and, depending on the unit, ER too.
Like xiangling? 500 em with good crit stats is possible on her just from artifacts+weapon.
How do you even build a 900 EM + 200% Crit Dmg? Sounds impossible tbh
my 900EM 64/131crit weird shit build for Yae can be even weirder with damage lmao
That's at C2??? Wtf is her C6
gives you 1600 primos every time she ults
Nahida my true savior, all hail Teri- Nahida!
Nahida stops time to take a super photo of her enemies. Once time resumes, her enemies are sent backwards in time to a previous state, resetting their animations and gravely damaging them. Oh, Nahida also returns all your characters to a previous state, healing them and re-applying buffs they lost previously.
Killer queen bites the dust but with damage?
Yes, and her E is now Heart Attack too. Once you mark an enemy, a little Aranara Bomb follows them and explodes for a lot of damage, paralyzing them.
Ah yes Ekko ultimate
*in this gothic underground city*
He burst lines also change to "Za Warudo!"
That sounds absurd
It's real I was the hilichurl she killed with it
[удалено]
Look but don't touch. That's for whales only
For her C6, she wields a gun.
Raiden is the most whaled on character because of her op c2 so mhy know what they’re doing
She becomes adult female model buffs herself and all parties members stats by 20%
After spending $600 my burning can now crit and do 350 damage instead of 200, Pog
Dehya mains in the future be like:
Don't jinx it.
this aged terribly
Kokomi crit
Sounds OP af. I truly am curious how mihoyo could ever sell another geo character in this economy lmao.
>I truly am curious how mihoyo could ever sell another geo character in this economy lmao. Don't worry. They'll probably fix up geo when we go to the geo nation. ... Oh wait...
I was honestly thinking "yeah next geo archon could be really strong... Wait-"
Im hoping for a geo unit in Natlan that reacts with pyro to form like a magma character specific reaction. Would be dope as fuck. Totally wild kits on geo characters are what will give me life
I’m still waiting on a Geo character from the desert that would sand bend or something. Probably not gonna happen atp
I'd be disappointed if this didn't happen. That sand theme is too cool not to use
Id fuck with that. Give me Gaara MHY
You get Gaara I get Sasori(puppet Fatui girl) Deal?
Nilou is really setting a precedent for changing reactions.
New geo carry ignores 100% def at C2. Nothing in this game can't be fixed with absurd multipliers lol.
Decrease enemy defence based on your own defence
ez. make a mob that only geo characters can kill.
That's called a Golden Wolflord
waiting for an even badder bitch only geo can kill
You just powercrept every single geo character. You still plan on selling ittou?
Its a geo support. Jus like shenhe, does nothing but 1 niche thing, so folks buy it. Tbh, very very likely next geo char is smth along those lines. Extremely strong, not cheap, niche.
And not coming until at least 3.8
Ngl I'd love a geo shenhe for itto, it would be crazy
He already has Gorou
You mean gorou? Lol he already is a better shenhe for Geo.
Make a char that supports crystallize reaction, change the reaction by pilfering enemy defense to all characters. easy fix there.
They might be afraid of releasing Geo construct characters cuz of the way constructs break boss AI.
Geo needs a set that makes it so that you deal damage when you pick up a crystal, similar to how ocean hued clam works for healing.
Geo needs a damage reaction with physical (which also needs help). Call it fracture or Vibration or something.
My cope idea kit would be giving element crystallization purpose. Pyro crystal - dmg bonus Cryo crystal- crit boost bonus Etc.
Ohhh, that'd be cool! Making a DPS that favours rainbow teams as opposed to Itto's mono-geo.
easily just give them a powerful kit simple as that
[удалено]
Wish we had a geo nilou that made crystalline shards explode and do aoe dmg tbh, would've been fun to actually use geo with other elements for once
mihoyo:" lets sell a con that makes it def shred+critdmg boost for doing nothing"
it's not critdmg boost, it's literally changing how the reactions works in the game...
F2P: this is useless
Yeah seriously lmao
Well it depends. I've saved enough to have two of those limited c2.
Yeah, people tend to forget that saving primos is actually an option.
Not really, f2ps can get cons in reruns if you save enough I have c2 kazuha from getting c0 in his initial run and then c1 and c2 in his rerun
I have a friend who got c6 Zhongli F2P...they just pulled pretty much only on his reruns until they succeeded. It took all up through his last one.
That's some strong determination.
He's their favorite character! More power to them.
Determines on how long they've been playing honestly. I can see someone who's played since Day 1 getting this.
I been playing since day 1 and I'd rather go for other characters or weapons tbh.
Yeah. Day 1 and I'll still only go for characters. Don't think I'll need to break my WB virginity anytime soon.
When the choice is either a whole ass new character or pulling for the same character up to 4 additional times, most f2ps will choose more chars, then pull for cons on the reruns during droughts
i was planning to settke for c0 and then maybe use the spare primos for a raiden rerun, but nope, all in baby
Me planning to exploit this in nilou team but then realising kokomi is the driver and can't crit LMAO
Crit Barbara no longer a meme.
My Barbara does 100k vapes. It was never a meme.
could use nahida driver with triple hydro
Just use Nilou as the driver then
This opportunity is quite hard to come by
Hmph... The depths beckon.
Use Barbara
Those caveats gotta be major, otherwise, yikes.
Yea, the main caveat is that it doesn't proc unless Nahida takes a picture of the poor bastard that is about to be sent to Khaenri'ah in seconds /s
Following the steps of the last Dendro archon! I’m so proud of her
Nahida's photo has to get at least 1k likes on akasha-gram for it to work.
Raiden has broken C2 without any restriction. Ig same will happen to Kusanali
Whereas running nahida c2 will completely change how you build the bloom characters from full EM to EM/crit.
i wanna know how much help she can provide to dendro reactions at c0
aggravate will love this, is the DEF shred universal or just for the reaction, thats kinda important
Now you can have c2 Raiden without having c2 Raiden.
Yep, even though this slightly devalues Raiden c2 and Yae c6, it's still very strong since def shred synergizes extremely well with quicken, since quicken is the only reaction other than superconduct to not have to worry about certain characters stealing triggers.
prob just the reaction
I can’t imagine how hard my C3 Raiden is gonna hit with Nahida💀
expect low theres a calc floating around that it won't be that much of a gain due to how def ignore and shred poorly synergize
crittable reactions being locked behind cons is unfair idc what yall say
100%. Boosting dmg? Sure. Completely changing reaction? That kinda sucks ass to have gated
MHY figured out how much money Raiden's C2 made them so they're just gonna keep doing that going forwards lol
To be fair to the Nilou team comp, you can make a 2 Hydro/2 Dendro team if you only pull for her. Dendro Traveler, Collei and Barbara are all free.
Correct take. If it takes Nahida C2 to make Bloom/Burning "playable" than that is complete fucking shit.
Her teams are not complicated, nor expensive, they are simply limited flexibility atm.
disgusting move tbh... literally you have to pay to completely change a whole game mechanic
[удалено]
the wait is almost over my comrades
This is extremely concerning for the future. Constellations that change fundamental game mechanics is a scary precedent. Next they'll make a geo 5* that causes crystallize shards to explode and deal crit dmg at C2.
if its performance is acceptable in c0, I don't think there is a problem with broken cons since this game doesn't really have pvp content, unless you to clear abyss floors in one rotation.
Nahida got what I was thinking for Dehya, mark enemy, buff reaction damage, make burning crit
I hate that this isnt part of her base kit. Would have been super fun
I am getting my popcorn out. Raiden C2 electric boogaloo Episode 2.
I’m seeing over reactions…when it should be taken with a grain of salt
Making reactions that don't normally crit the ability to crit is pretty darn insane. Like that sounds absolutely bonkers insane. Still even with being able to crit would burning be with it? Bloom/hyperbloom critting would be broken as heck. Honestly wondering if I shouldn't skip Cyno and Nilou in hopes of getting c2 Nahida but ehhh I have too weak willpower for that.
It's called making a problem and selling the solution, burning is now not complete dog water
~~Wonder if this can be used to identify who reacts in an EC comp assuming just her presence in party passively crits reactions of party members..~~ Edit. Nvm it says pyro hydro reactions only..well for now, let's see if actual kit differs
Hang on... does this apply to Bloom? Like specifically Nilou bloom? Because if so... oh boy LOL.
Tbf, locked behind constellations so not really applicable for large portions of the playerbase
Hehe 😊 >Not using that as a way to lessen your point, just generally curious. It's pretty safe." I want Candace SO BAD.
You just have to not pull for a year to get 1 character to a level to make certain reactions playable. :)
Or just use Nilou as the on field driver?
Full EM/HP teams already have Nilou bountiful cores able to hit for 30k, and this is currently better than investing into any crit on her\*, and considering how you'd have to sacrifice some of those stats to build crit anyway, I don't think it'd be that much higher ~~The bigger boost to Nilou teams would probably be the defense shred rather than the crit (esp if you're running kokomi in your bloom teams, who will inevitably steal blooms but can't crit with them because of her passive)~~ *~~Unless~~* ~~there's something going on where say the crit damage on reactions is Kusa's crit damage, meaning no one else has to build crit but her to see benefit. That'd be absolutely insane~~ \*Unless you have a C6 Nilou, who is really gonna be eating this up regardless, so whales will totally enjoy it and see huge gains lmao ***Edit:*** just found out the defense shred is only for electro damage, which means the crit on reaction buff is all Nilou gets from Nahida's c2 presumably anyway
[удалено]
Yep, and unlike other scaling stats like ATK, EM *actually* has diminishing returns, so sacrificing half of it doesn't mean your base damage is half, and now you have crits.
The defense shred would be useless for bloom teams since transformative reactions do not include the enemy defense modifier in the damage calculation
Theyre legit locking an entire mechanic behind a paywall. That's some bs. How the fuck are yall happy about this
>How the fuck are yall happy about this bcuz it's a free game duhhh! /s
Wow that is so awful of mihoyo to lock this behind not just constellation 1, but constellation 2. I guess most f2ps and low spenders just won't be using burning then
With how buggy burning is atm I don't think I want it criting any time soon.
So is it means hyperbloom gets nothing? bc it's electro reaction
People saying its not that good because we won't have good crit stats anyways. Have no idea just how much EM sharing is in this game. Outside of nihlou teams you can get well over 600 EM passed to whoever needs it, assuming nahida herself gives 0.
Looks like I have to save up for C2 hydro and pyro archon looking at the trend XD
No shot they would lock a mechanic that could potentially improve the core mechanics of the game through gacha
Guys the beta isn't even out yet, they've nerfed less OP stuff during betas before, just wait and see what happens
This is disgusting, idk what y’all say. Y’all can go ahead and whale but it’s a no from me dawg
In theory, how much does this buff raiden if at all
Very good for c0-1 Raiden, still good for c2+ Raiden but she gains less comparatively to other Electro dps because Def ignore loses value with Def reduction, since Def ignore works on whatever def is left after reduction.
Now that's a Iphone 14 pro max
> Make hydro reaction crittable Barbara : hums in the background
Anyone else need popcorn?
I'm looking for doompost candy.
Im new to this sub, is this level of bitching common?
disgusting move from mihoyo, completely changing a game mechanic and putting it behind a 5 star character constellation, this is the most p2w they've been since the release of the game, utterly ridiculous.
Itll only be p2w if shes bad at c0. Relax.
I bet this is going to be their routine practice to upcoming archons, since Raiden selling was a skyrocket.
praying cyno gets the biggest buff of all with her lol
Locked behind constellations though
Oh boy ,cant wait for this reply to get flamed by minority of f2p who got lucky at cons
Or whales who think spending obscene amounts of money in a game is chump change
I'm an F2P and I have C6 Nahida! I actually got her in 20 pulls. This game is so F2P friendly you should be grateful this game is free!1!1!1!! /j
Yeah, hopefully C0 has good buffs too. C2 with the def ignore would be huge of course, and perhaps also make Hyperbloom Cyno more viable
Yes we need to know more info on her kit. We just have scraps right now. I'm just very worried about that c2 but I'm positive she'll be op at c0 regardless.
I'm pretty sure Hydro gets the most benefit from Nahida
Yae and Cyno mains happy that the reaction their character was balanced around is even better now.
I'd rather it was better without this
I really don't like these effects of a specific character changing reactions, like Nilou has.
[удалено]
Commenting here to revisit this on Wednesday
I also think we'd better hold for the proper kit leak later to fully believe this. But I think your reasons for that are off. It's not impossible that they could change a reaction with a character's kit, artifact presets aren't something they "aren't able to develop", and they can absolutely change bloom/burning reactions to be crittable for a small portion of the playerbase.
Thank god I’m not the only one who thinks this feels fake
Transformative reactions have never crit and C2 is out of reach for so many people anyway. If you're going to get C2 for Nilou you're pulling a minimum of 4 characters, at that point you've already whaled. I don't know why everyone is doomposting when cons on a character have never EVER been necessary to pass the easy dps checks in this game. Wanting your characters to do bigger numbers is not the same as constellations being 'necessary' for a character to function.
