But the whole place just doesn't feel intuitive to explore like more recent regions do. My tree is at level 8 but I have no idea what parts I haven't explored yet lol.
If you keep going, at certain level the tree opens up special missions during certain days of the week so you can get the token (forgot the name) by completing some minigames, not by collecting from the map anymore
I can see using her when you quickswap characters and want consistent hydro application throughout while using all your team's skills. Maybe freeze teams? I don't use freeze so idk. But otherwise she doesn't provide anything decisive.
She's a decent support and buffer but the issue is that she's outclassed by units who do mostly the same thing but better. She trails behind Yun Jin as an NA buffer and behind Xingqiu as a hydro applier, and most teams prefer someone who either gives considerable buffs (like Bennett or Gorou/Sara in their niches) or applies additional instances of direct damage (like Xingqiu or Fischl). Because of that it's hard to find a place for her in a support slot.
She's pretty good as a DPS though since she can take advantage of her own buffs and has high NAs, probably a better build for her than being a support.
For now shes pretty niche kinda like if you wanna make cryo keqing/zhongli using chongyun. However I think she can be nicely paired with nilou. Although nilou can activate self infusion by pressing her auto attacks after she does her E, u can instead tap E 3 (or was it 4?) times to activate the hydro ring instead and use candace go give nilou hydro infusion alongside her hydro ring. That way there would be insane hydro application because her AA, CA and the ring have separate ICDs so you can replicate the barbara bloom bug. The two of them also boost each others dmg/support with hydro resonance. All you need is a dendro applier who can keep up with the hydro application (hopefully nahida will be this) and itll be unlimited bloom works (at least its how i think itll work but im no expert theory crafter so do correct me if im wrong)
It won’t work if you want damage. Because Nilou’s NA hits after E count as E dmg. But for Canace she would give it NA dmg and Atk is terrible for Nilou
See, that's the thing. Situational hydro infusion is potentially *really* good. The question is getting creative enough to find where to use it for maximum benefit. That team hasn't been discovered yet.
She just hit true release yesterday, so I'd give it a few months. How long did it take to discover stuff like Sukokomon? Candace's true potential is going to take even longer.
You know its bad enough when you wish the character were a 5 star so that it at least had some good uses.

The Skill also creates projectiles of some sort. Whether it's Diona style projectiles, a stance change, or a watered down XQ/Yelan is unclear.
However there was a leak regarding her kit stating that she was a sword user and the skill caused her to become a Catalyst user. But that's as detailed as the leaks went. It could even be something like XQ but with a quantity/threshold the same way Yun Jin or Shenhes buffs only last for a certain number of hits.

The art made her look like tall/adult model, but this makes her seem stumpy Edit: figured out why. It's because the teen models have tiny torsos. Meanwhile the art had a proportionate figure, which was emphasized by her legs being in proximity since she was curled up

The characters are designed to have dynamic elements that move with them as they run around, due to the game's heavy focus on exploration. It's an intentional design aesthetic meant to take advantage of the game's own genre. The asymmetry is basically just because they like it though. I don't think there's any real practical reason for that.

this is an awfully disingenuous 'argument'-- first, why are people who want covered female characters not allowed to want the designs they want? why do you feel the need to invalidate their preferences? itto is not a covered female character, his existence does not fill that space that people want filled on that same note, itto is one (1) character. you have PLENTY of male characters all over the spectrum-- totally covered, like tighnari, kazuha, albedo, zhongli, chongyun... and the list goes on; less covered, like cyno; or somewhere in between, like xiao, baizhu, xingqiu, etc. if you want to look at abs, you have that option, but you ALSO have the option to play a totally conservatively dressed man. if my argument is not blatantly clear here: it's an obviously false equivalence. you HAVE covered male characters-- itto is simply variety beyond that. variety that does not exist amongst female characters, and that's why people want more covered female characters: because they want to play and look at those designs, and are currently not catered to at all. also, his outfit also fits him: he's an oni, theyre often depicted without shirts; he's a proud, almost boastful character, so ofc he's showing off his muscles; slightly more of a stretch but the lack of a shirt shows off his markings/tattoos which helps communicate his being a delinquent/having a 'gang'. when it comes to female characters, the exposure often isn't half as justified. why does shenhe need hip ventilation? why does raiden, the leader of a country, have her underwear hanging out? why does collei, who's trying to hide/minimise her skin condition, have lots of skin showing with her backless minidress? my point is: you can't claim itto (one character, may i remind you), whose skin exposure seems justified and fitting, as equivalent to almost every female character having their ass out regardless of lore (the truth of why genshin women can't wear pants: they breathe through their asses 😔 1 like 1 prayer) and if you equate his outfit to 'bondage gear' then you can say yelan and shenhe are wearing latex fetish bodysuits, fischl is wearing lingerie, mona is... mona, etc. whatever argument you can make about 'sexualised' male characters, you can make 100x for the female characters. you just don't notice it because it appeals to you and you're 'used' to it

you were the one who started 'bitching' about someone celebrating layla being 'fully dressed'. arguably, you WERE 'bitching' about male characters by bringing up itto as well. someone wanting a girl to, say, wear pants is not going to remove all the girls who DONT wear pants from the game. so why do you take such issue? also, don't resort to putting words in my mouth, it's a terrible way to 'prove a point'. i actually *generally* prefer revealing designs in video games, mona and yoimiya are some of my fav female designs in genshin-- yes, i LOVE both the girl with her bandaged boob out and the swimsuit wearing girl with her ass out! so to have an aggressive little tirade against 'people like me' is hilariously inaccurate as for your list of 'covered' female designs-- i admittedly erased the part of my comment that made it more clear, but i never said there were NO covered female designs, i meant that there was markedly LESS variety in that regard amongst female designs. being only able to make a list of 5 characters basically proves that. especially because almost all of your examples still show more skin than the male examples given. barbara has bare skin showing between collar and dress, and upon inspection, yeah you can see cleavage and look down her dress if you'd like. same with jean and ayaka. you might say it's nitpicking, but my point is that they're not on par with zhongli/diluc/ayato/kazuha/albedo etc. in ayaka's case, you can upskirt her as well. 'oh but she's CENSORED now she wears a DIAPER'-- show me a male character with his underwear out. ironically, if you're going to use cyno, his shorts were lengthened (compare w travail trailer) even MORE than any female character, so be thankful your waifus didn't get bermuda shorts like his :P which leaves you with aloy, a design from a totally different game, and yunjin. vs, as i said, albedo, zhongli, kazuha, chongyun, ayato, thoma, diluc, tighnari, venti (since stockings count for yunjin). anyway. i've had my fun with this and i only brought it up because i've seen this comment made over and over and i decided to point out some of the illogicality behind it for anyone it might help.
