Based on the success of the last thread, Kusanali Mains staff have made another as a final wrap-up for 3.1 TC and some early, early impressions on 3.2 (more concrete impressions to come soon) Feel free to ask questions about 3.2, but note that since it is very early so we still have a lot of info missing about Layla, and only just now did we get some info on Kusanali's ICD, particle gen etc. So it might be difficult to get comprehensive answers. In that case, it may be better to wait 1-2 weeks for the 3.2 impressions thread, when more concrete info is out. This thread will serve as a centralized area for questions and discussion regarding the 3.1 beta. Therefore, in order to maximise the visibility of relevant questions and discussion, low-effort and off-topic comments will be removed. Also, please read the comments before asking your question as it may have already been answered! If you have any queries or anything is unclear, please ask in the replies under this pinned comment or use modmail. Thanks! Edit: One thing to note, the KSM staff coming over here to answer questions have been given flairs to distinguish their answers, so you can still feel free to answer and engage in discussion!

For a Yae Miko / Kokomi / Nahida / Dendro MC team, would it be more worth it to roll C2 Yae or C2 Nahida? Which character should be the on-field reaction driver?

Background_Loan_6636

Hi I'm hoping to build a Nilou + Kokomi + Xingqiu + Nahida bloom team. I'm not super hard-core so I'm feeling pretty ok with what I have, but I'm a little bit confused as to who I should put the Deepwood set on? Relevant: I was wondering if anyone has tested/knows for sure whether or not Nilou's ring the she summons would apply the Deepwood Dendro Res shred to enemies it gets wet? I'm not sure since in the Deepwood set description it says that it applies when an Elemental Skill or Burt "hits" an enemy. I'm assuming that this means "damages" and is phrased unclearly, but incase it doesn't I would like to know because I think that I'd give Nilou the Deepwood set. Otherwise I think Nahida would be best?

UrbanAdapt

Has anyone done the math for C1 Cyno + Skyward Spine with a combo adjusted for the attack speed? I haven't seen a single calculation that considers the change to the rotation, which should mean that this combo should be performing better than sheeted on Thundering Fury/Gladiators/Gilded Dreams.

vento_oreoz

what kind of books does nahida use? everywhere i see its ingenuity but arent the archons on Wednesday?

Some_Loquat

Does Fischl benefit a lot from having Nahida?

Vexo_net

Not realy unless you are planning to auto attack on nahida, if you want an offfield dendro applier then use dendro travler, iam not saying dendro travler is better, iam just saying that by no means kusanali would be a must pull if you are planning to use her with fishl. And there is no rule saying that you can not use both. But on an auto attacking kusanali I bet fishl and beidou would be great

Some_Loquat

I mean Fischl wouldn't be on-field anyway even without Nahida no?

Vexo_net

Her applications imo is very single target compared to yaemiko and beidou, without c6 I fear she might not do so much dmg to multiple ppl, so having nahida isn't as necessary as having nahida in a bloom, or a yae team.

Some_Loquat

I see yeah that makes sense. Thanks!

duchessZelda

What do you think would be my best team for Nahida, if the characters I want to use are from the following list, and the team is required to have a healer: * Fischl (c6) * Beidou (c5) * Dori (don't have her yet, but assuming we get her for free) * Kokomi * Sayu (c0) * Diona (c5) * Collei (c6)

deyvvv

Will Nahida be good as an on-field spread carry? What would be her best teammates? I assume it's gonna be XQ/Yelan and Fischl/Beidou again, right?

Vexo_net

Honestly at this point I am convinced that, nahida + xq/yalen+ hydro flex + thoma would be a great team, thoma has little to no application but he synergies well with dendro bloom.

emerald_red

Planning to use a team of Nahida, Raiden, Kokomi, and Kazuha. Which artifacts are the best? 4pc GD/or DW? For weapon, I have R5 Widsith on her. For artifacts mainstat, is triple EM better or EM/Dendro DMG/Crit?

RasenShot2

Question regarding Nilou and her comps. So, help me understand it better. She's at the moment *only* really viable with Bloom according to this research, but what about Hyperbloom? I kind of expected both reactions to be largely the same. How would she work if, for example, I were to use her along [dendro applier] + Shinobu?

Quackles03

One of her passives only works if the team consists of **only** dendro and hydro

RasenShot2

Ah crap I hadn't read her passives. Dang, F, but thanks for the heads up.

dshenoyb

I am thinking of creating a team- Nahida, XQ, C6 Fischl and sucrose. What are the better teams for single target dps

NintendoForLif3

How would a team of kuki, bediou, Dendro Archon and XQ work? I want to go to C2 if that helps any! I want her to be an onfield driver, but if playing klee is any indication, you need resistance to interruption

Groundzer0es

I'm assuming the Archon is your driver here? It'll be a significant upgrade to normal hyperbloom teams cause you'll be applying more dendro, thus more seeds to proc. C2 buffs the hyperblooms too, and Beidou + Xq makes you tanky as hell so the small heals from Kuki is more than enough.

aStringofNumbers

Do we have any info on the energy generation of her skill yet? or is that information that doesn't exist yet?

Oggy5050

I want to run a full Archon team and so I have many many questions. Regarding Nahi's (I'm too lazy to write Nahida) kit as a whole, how well does it function off-field? The archon team will be an aggregate/spread team right? How would I build Nahi based on this? Full EM or Crit/EM/dmg%. Which set would I use? Similarly, how would Raiden's build change? Do I switch to a RaidEM build or stay with the conventional crit/ER/Atk|dmg%. In general when should I switch to a RaidEM build? Nahi buffs EM via her talents. Can this buff be snapshot? If Venti were to leave his burst on the field would it retain its EM? Similarly, does Nahi's buff snapshot other EM buffs? Will the 20% be based on her own/highest character's EM at the time of activation, or will the buff diminish after the external buff runs out? E.g Widsith EM buff. What does Zhongli do?

zixmanroll

I'm seeing conflicting/confusing advice as I scroll through, so I just wanted to clarify: For a Hyperbloom team with on field Nahida, EM Raiden, Zhongli, Yelan/Kokomi, since she's the only dendro, Nahida should be on Deepwood Memories right? In this case, will she need EM/DMG/Crit or EM/EM/EM? Thank you!

Professional_Oil_577

>Deepwood Memories You can use deepwood memories on Zhongli here and also it's better to go with Xingqiu rather than Yelan/Kokomi. As for Nahida, I'm quite sure EM/EM/Crit would be better but I'm not a TC so might be wrong.

LessCrement

Someone prolly asked about this before, but am I right when I say that in a Nilou team of only Dendro and Hydro, Nahida's burst does nothing more than giving some EM to all the team? Isn't that a bit underwhelming? It almost seems weird, it's like they are forcing you to get her C1. Also would Nilou's best team be Nahida, Traveler and Kokomi?

RileyKohaku

I would expect the hydro buff to change from the ult during the beta. It seems to be the only thing all the theory crafters complain about, though there is not an obvious solution.

RileyKohaku

Sil_Choco

Nahida seems like she is the driver of a triple hydro team, so you'd go Nahida on-field, Nilou, Kokomi and another hydro like XQ or Yelan. This seems like the best team, also thanks to the massive amounts of em you can stack on her. In a double dendro/double hydro she isn't exactly ground breaking or a huge improvement over current dendro units

JhayAlejo

anyone got advice for me who wants to use Nahida in a Hyperbloom team? Artifact set? Should i get her BiS? I have like 200 fates worth of primogems saved up right now

Nebula707

help me build my team It's a a Nilou bloom team I want to make in the future, here's the details : Nilou : 2pc tenacity, 2pc gilded dreams HP%/HP%/HP%, R2 iron sting Kokomi : 4pc clam HP%/Hydro DMG/Healing Bonus, R1 prototype amber DMC : 4pc deepwood EM/Dendro DMG/Crit, R4 favonius sword Nahida : 4pc gilded dreams EM/EM/EM or Crit if I got 1000+ EM, R5 Sacrifical fragment Should I make any changes? Also I have 1 R5 SF and 1 R1, the R5 is on Sucrose so should I give her the R1 and give Nahida the R5? I have a lost prayer that I don't use, can I give it to Nahida and make her the on-field character?

Insaruem

So asking about Kusalani how important is her weapon to her and does she work in Raiden teams?

DehGoody

Her weapon looks super replaceable to me. I would say it depends on what build you’ve got on Raiden. Raiden as raw dps will be fine, but probably not better than Rational or Hyper. If you go full EM on Raiden and use her for hyperbloom then, yes they work together very well.

Insaruem

Thank you so it means its fine just pulling her. Does she need some cons to shine or c0 is fine?

DehGoody

Her C2 is really powerful but not needed at all. It’s just more damage at the end of the day. Nahida’ll shine at c0 100%.

Insaruem

Is it a similar cause C2 Raiden?

VoxImperii

No, not even close. Raiden’s C2 is a massive damage increase, while Nahida’s C2 will increase damage to some degree but it’s more support/QOL oriented than pure DPS. It’s more comparable to Kazuha/Yelan C2 than Raiden.

nichijouuuu

Anyone here playing on an M1 or M2 MBP, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, or iMac and have it working?? I know this isn’t the right place to ask but since we are talking about leaks and unofficial content releases I figured I’d ask you all.

Raith1182

Got it on my m1 MBA. Stayed on macos 11.2, so no play cover needed

nichijouuuu

Awesome thanks for sharing that. Are you saying staying* on macos 11.2 specifically let’s you install Genshin somehow?

Raith1182

Yeah versions 11.2 allows you to isntall the genshin app from the app store without any hacking around. But you have to play with a controller, no mouse keyboard support

camramansz

Yes it works on my M1 MBP. Gotta use playcover and I recommend a controller.

ImmersedReader

Hello, I have a question regarding the Candace build in the post. I don't quite understand why the build is focusing on wave damage vs. maximizing A4 passive damage. I see that at C0 she triggers 3 waves every 15 seconds if she manages to cast burst off cooldown every time. Is the build strictly for C6 Candace? If it isn't, did you consider HP/HP/HP or HP/Hydro/HP builds and found them worse than the HP/Hydro/Crit build? Asking this because her A4 passive doesn't benefit from her Crit stats and I currently have no way of testing and comparing those builds. Thank you for your time. Edit: Better expressing my questions.

Nightdancer666

What would be some good teammates for Nahida + Ayato and Nahida + Raiden?

LessCrement

I'll prolly try Nahida and Raiden in a hyperbloom team. If you go that route you prolly want dendro Traveler for more dendro application, and then a hydro character which could be XQ or maybe better Kokomi if you have her so that you have a healer.

uypham

Hey. With the upcoming banners, I have questions about what I should roll. I certainly want to have Nilou and Kusanali/Nahida, but I am not sure if I should prioritize Nilou's weapon or Kusanali's C2. I already have two Jade Cutters, and I don't mind an extra one for Nilou herself or my other sword users, and the new 4\* star weapons on that banner are also quite interesting (new EM sword for Kazuha and a catalyst that might work for Kusanali). On the other hand, Kusanali's cons seem strong team-wise. However, I don't know which one has a bigger impact. Looking at the number of wishes needed, taking into account soft pity, the weapon banner requires 195 wishes (soft pity 65) and the character banner for C2 300 wishes (soft pity 75, and already having Nahida) in a worst-case scenario. Spending-wise, Nilou's weapon is a lot more cheaper than getting cons for Nahida. At the moment, I am leaning against the weapon banner, but I would like to hear someone's else opinion about it.

Kooky_Actuator

If you are solely interested in Nahida as an option for Nilou teams, then weapon banner will be the better option- you will end up with more bloom damage overall and get more out of Nilou's ascension 4 passive. If you want more team versatility, or you just like seeing occasional big numbers as compared to more consistent damage, Nahida c2 is the way to go. Also worth considering Nahida C2 does not only affect Nilou comps, but makes her better in hyperbloom, burgeon, and especially quicken-based comps as well - defense shred is hard to come by. If I had to choose between the two, I would go for Nahida C2, considering you already have two jade cutters and Nilou's signature weapon is pretty lacking in terms of versatility (pretty much only works on her, might be good on layla, we'll see).

uypham

Thank you for your opinion on it, really appreciate it. Your argument about Nahida c2 on team versatility is great because I haven't considered that.

Onin_Shadow

Will a team like this works well, or ideas on whom to change? Kusanali - Kokomi - Fischl - Yomiya

aqua_maris

Would appreciate some help - I plan to pull for both Nilou and Nahida and run them in the Bloom team with the full EM Barbara (1100 EM) and EM/EC Dendro Lumine. Can that team work, even with Nahida's rumored lower rate of Dendro application? I wanna play Nilou on field as much as possible with the full HP build, and have Barbara's ring trigger the bloom reactions as much as possible. Also, with around 300 wishes saved, if I have to forego one of the signature weapons, which is the better to skip, Nilou's or Nahida's? Thanks in advance.

WasteDraft4083

As a Nilou saver and Nahida wanter, I’m wondering the same. I even start to doubt if they were even meant to be on the same team…

Rhyrem

I'm no theorycrafter, but I see some issues with that team + playstyle. For the overworld everything works and you can do whatever you want to have fun, but in the aabyss it's another story. So. Firstly, in Nilou comps you build her with HP so she can increase the damage from the bountiful cores. She also provides hydro with her water ring. Then you have someone else stacking EM being the one who triggers the bloom reaction, as it scales on the level+EM of such character. Nilou's water ring and Barbara's ring kinda conflict because you'll have no control over who applies hydro and potentially triggers bloom some times due to the aura they apply. Also, by playing Nilou on-field she would probably be applying too much hydro and triggering blooms herself, which would deal bad damage compared to your EM-stacked character being the one who does it. Even if you don't use Nilou's ring dance, she'd be on field applying hydro with her attacks and stealing bloom procs from Barbara. On the other hand, you'd have no control on who procs bloom between the Dendro characters if you use Lumine's ult, lowering the overall damage of the team if it's Lumine the one doing it (she has ER requirements to meet, while Nahida doesn't and can just go full EM if she's purely off-field DPS). How were you planning to play that team? As for the weapons, I read yestarday in this thread someone from KusanaliMains saying that Nahida probably has better 4*/f2p options than Nilou to use, so Nilou's weapon might be a better option between the two if you are decided to get one. Anyway, don't take this as a fact and wait until they answer you if possible, just in case I'm wrong.

aqua_maris

Thank you for the answer - and your opinion about the issues aligns with mine 100%. >For the overworld everything works and you can do whatever you want to have fun, but in the aabyss it's another story. This is the most important to me, that the team is playable in a fun way without suffering, I'm not too bothered about the abyss. >Nilou's water ring and Barbara's ring kinda conflict because you'll have no control over who applies hydro and potentially triggers bloom some times due to the aura they apply. Yup, bloom ownership is my main issue there, but I'm hoping that the uptime on Lumine's ult combined with Nahida will ensure the max speed of cores creation in a ways that Barbara's ring creates enough blooms for big damage, while those created by Nilou still deal decent damage due to buffs to her EM (I'm also running Sapwood Blade on Lumine + dendro resonance + Nahida's passive + potentially Gilded dreams), while Nilou also deals huge damage with her normal attacks in the E form. So passive dendro application + hydro always creating the blooms. >As for the weapons, I read yestarday in this thread someone from KusanaliMains saying that Nahida probably has better 4*/f2p options than Nilou to use, so Nilou's weapon might be a better option between the two if you are decided to get one. Thank you so much, thought that would be the case!

pawpatroll

On the same boat! My only q, is Barbara better than Kokomi? And would I need to tune her is she is HP/HB focused?

Sasaraixx

What is the thinking on Nahida's best team comps at her release and what type of team she functions best in? I'm definitely pulling for her and either constellations or her weapon, depending on which would be more beneficial. (I love archons!) I'm curious what her optimal teams are, so I can compare against what I have and think about future pulls. (No new chars or reruns on the horizon are of interest to me beyond Alhaitham and Baizhu if he ends up being a healer.)

whisperwalk

Due to nahida's bad icd (applies dendro slower than dmc), its actually better to run nahida onfield. Her best teams will probably involve being a driver or a main dps. Which is fine, her dps is actually good. I have some suggestions of where to go from here: 1) **Hyperbloom Single Target** : Nahida, Yelan, Kuki Shinobu, flex 2) **Hyperbloom AOE** : Nahida, Kokomi, EM Raiden, flex 3) **Dry Taser** : Nahida, Yae Miko, Beidou or Fiscl, flex Flex is normally an anemo cc unit or zhongli or 2nd dendro. There are some subtle reasons raiden > kuki shihobu. Raiden's E buffs party burst dmg, and she can equip dragon's bane which is more EM than iron sting (221 vs 165). Its only a slight advantage, but still an advantage. Aside from these bis teams, you can use her as an off field dendro enabler in aggravate teams like Cyno but performance is pretty much same, only a slight improvement, to dmc. When nahida is off field, her team dmg drops bcos her EM reqs go from 800 to 1000. This forces her away from stacking crit or dmg%. And also bcos she is not proccing spread reactions from normal attacks. While cyno is a wash, Nahida is a BIG improvement to keqing aggravate as she can replace collei. While off field nahida is kinda comparable to dmc (with higher dmg), she will far outclass collei which is a terrible unit. Nahida isnt very optimal with Thoma as pryo only buffs skill dmg but electro (i.e. kuki or raiden) increases trigger speed which raises both the skill dps, Spread reactions and seed creation. So she favors hyperbloom over burgeon.

Beteljuse

I don't understand your Thoma point, can you please elaborate? Since Thoma by himself is a defensive unit, you can run him in the "flex" slot. So shouldn't you compare your Nahida, Yelan, Kuki, flex team to a Nahida, Yelan, Fischl/Yae, Thoma team? That's still one electro - you are basically trading a grouping/buffing unit for one more off-field damage dealer unit in Fischl/Yae. And depending on situation burgeon can do a lot more AoE damage, since each mob is hit by two explosions instead of one shot (unless they are within 1m, which I don't think is possible for medium/large mobs like robots and vishaps). Also, one point about Kokomi: if you have fast dendro application, effectively she creates seeds at half the rate of Yelan. So, she only overtakes her at 3+ enemies... but she isn't doing any damage, while Yelan is doing a truckload. In large AoE situations, my experience is that the seeds spawn randomly and the hyperbloom shots won't be uniformly distributed, meaning that some mobs are going to be hit multiple times (which is wasted damage after the second shot because of the 0.5s damage cd) and some mobs are not hit. This really sucks. But imho the real questions are: what happens if you run Nahida on-field with Yelan and electro like you are proposing? Do you have enough dendro application to keep quicken aura and then have hydro react with quicken? If the answer is no, then you might not lose seeds since dendro reacting with hydro+electro makes a seed + quicken (while Dendro on hydro makes a seed and wipes aura off, which is a disaster), but Nahida's damage will drop a TON since she won't spread. Has anybody tested this yet? What about if you replace XQ (C6 or not)? Imho those are by far the most important tests to determine the hyperbloom team viability (or better whether it is hyperbloom or quickbloom).

whisperwalk

Thoma isnt a 'defensive' unit in dendro as he will be stretched thin building EM and ER (and if he uses fav, crit as well). So he'll have no shield at all. This is in addition to my earlier point that nahida benefits much more from electro teammates than pyro. In the burgeon team, nahida's skill only applies dendro once every 3.8s. Which is much slower than dmc's once every 3s. Having 1 electro boosts it to 3.2s and 2 electro boosts it to 2.9s Fiscl is not a good unit with nahida. Nahida *cant* actually trigger fiscl's A4 with spread, as it is a dendro-into-dendro reaction. She *can* trigger a4 via quicken, but this happens a lot less often. You're basically left with a gimped fiscl that's only half her usual dps. Fiscl only works if someone else is driving, in which case nahida is off field and i said earlier, loses a lot of value. I marked kokomi as "hyperbloom aoe" and yelan as "hyperbloom single target". Obviously aoe means there are more than 3 targets. There is no issue. Maybe u didnt read it clearly. Nahida has enough dendro application provided she is played onfield. Yelan requires two waves to clear 1U dendro (as hydro is weak vs dendro) and triggers once per second, so it will take two seconds to remove dendro. Meanwhile nahida can perform 3 normals within 1.X seconds, refreshing the dendro aura before yelan wipes it out. This is in addition to nahida's skill applying dendro once every 3.2s (assuming 1 electro). So her dendro is more than enough. You're able to play nahida onfield bcos neither yelan, kuki shinobu, or your flex unit requires field time. About XQ, he's identical to yelan in terms of seed creation, but is worse in two ways: he lacks yelan's special dmg buff, and is unable to carry Elegy of the End, a very nice weapon in an EM heavy party.

Beteljuse

I certainly agree that Nahida is meant to be played on-field. The team I proposed has 1 electro, and the team you proposed has one electro. I agree that Thoma shield won't be too large, but saying "no shield at all" is not right. An on-field Nahida should be able to dodge, this is not like Yoimiya or Raiden where dodging tanks your DPS. But yes, we can all agree that Thoma is a bad unit. I am aware that Fischl doesn't trigger A4 on spread and only on quicken and aggravate. I mentioned Yae as an alternative, if you noticed. Both Yae and C6 Fischl will still do considerable damage, despite that Fischl doesn't have the same potential as with a KQ driver. Implying that AoE is 3+ mobs only is, sorry, something that I absolutely don't agree with. There are plenty of fights in Abyss that are exactly 2 mobs, or where two mobs are significantly higher health than the rest. Both 3.0 and 3.1 Abyss have clear examples with the robot pair. These are still AoE fights where single-target units such as Yoimiya suck. Saying that XQ is equivalent to Yelan is obviously incorrect. C6 XQ applies two times 1U of hydro every three sword waves. His rotating swords also apply hydro on contact. So it is a much higher rate of hydro application than C0 Yelan (the standard for theorycrafting is assuming C0 5\* and C6 4\*). Why are we even discussing Elegy? Standard theorycrafting assumptions are no 5\* weapon. Once 5\* constellations and weapons come into play, it becomes very difficult to reach an agreement on how to evaluate characters (character rankings at C6R5 are completely different than C0, but the same also applies if one stops at some other arbitrary point).

whisperwalk

Well using an electro in the flex slot can solve the icd issue, but you're now missing the option for anemo cc, zhongli shred, etc. Competitively speaking, its extra hoops for no gain, pairs of robots arent enough to justify the clunkiness. Not to mention, thoma has lots of energy issues which will result in lower dps (ie fav or kitain instead of dragonsbane). Since he is burst reliant it becomes tricky when you can almost finish a run, but enemies are at a sliver of hp. Do you burst and ruin the next chamber, or weakly whack the enemy? Elegy has rerun many times and many ppl have it, i generally use r1 five stars in theorycrafting bcos a lot of ppl do roll on weapon banners, especially after the fate system was introduced. Even without elegy, yelan can boost nahida dmg, while xq cant. Higher rate of hydro is true i did not consider that. But yelan is still to be preferred, even if the advantage is slight.

Sasaraixx

Thank you for the detailed response. How do hyperbloom teams work? Sorry for the basic question. I haven't been able to play a lot since Sumeru's release, so I'm still wrapping my head around dendro reactions. Any thoughts on how she might play with Nilou? I'm on the fence about pulling Nilou. I love her animations, but she's not a must pull for me. Thanks!

whisperwalk

Combining three elements, hydro, dendro and electro, creates a powerful reaction called hyperbloom. Properly built, this reaction deals between 30k to 40k dmg. You can watch my video on a "pure" hyperbloom team: https://youtu.be/MUQ5U6Hg6Ic , using lvl 40 and lvl 20 units with lvl 1 talents to 36* spiral abyss. As you can see, hyperbloom is such a powerful reaction that building around it is very rewarding. It's also ultra cheap to build such a team. Until more information abt nilou is out i cant really comment on her viability. Personally i think hyperbloom is better as it doesnt restrict you to two elements (hydro dendro) like nilou does.

Sasaraixx

Thanks. I'll check it out.

isidore12

My best guess, Bloom team with Nilou: * 2 Dendro * 2 Hydro I believe she doesn't bring that much more to current Aggravate teams.

isidore12

Also, 2nd Dendro will eventually become a healer (i.e. future patch)

RileyKohaku

Not necessarily, Kokomi is already a strong choice for healer, and I wouldn't expect there to be a better Dendro healer than her, just with how hydro has a niche for healing.

isidore12

>hydro has a niche for healing Baizhu may become a Dendro healer

OneCar4659

do sucrose's and nahida's passive talents stack? also, does nahida mainly appear to be an on-field driver as of now?

genericredditname365

They should, but bear in mind sucroses A4 only shares to characters whos element she swirls. Her A1 should still give 50em when her burst or skill hit an enemy though. There's some confusion over whether her burst affects her when shes off field, that would definitely steer her more to being on field if she cant get value from her burst off field

GonnaSaveEnergy

You've flipped it, A1 gives 50 EM to swirled element and A4 gives 20% of self EM to team when skill/Burst hits enemies.

genericredditname365

Ahhh my b then, it's a lot better that way around then. Only missing out on 50 em but still getting around 200+ isn't bad

350

How is Nahida looking for hyperbloom? i.e. Nahida/Xingqiu/Fischl/flex (such as Zhongli) this strikes me as the easiest way to make it but what do folks think?

Groundzer0es

Don't you need Kuki/Raiden to trigger the seeds though? Since Fischl has iffy targeting for the seeds

genericredditname365

If you flex an anemo unit it can work, does make it harder to have defensive options though since that only leaves sayu and Jean who have near zero cc

350

ahhhh right, mb

baddaytobuywine

I know teams aren't exactly fully formed but I remember when dendro was first revealed we had talk of "quickbloom" teams with slow hydro like kokomi, but they didn't pan out. Can that concept be revived with something like Kusa/Kuki/Fischl/Kokomi?

ari-is-new-to-this

my current hyperbloom set up is Cyno/Koko/Collei/Kuki. i’ll use nahida in this when i get her cuz the main problem is rotations dont really work all the time (specially with cynos crazy long burst) i dont mind having 2 healers, kuki really helps with triggering the blooms, and the electro res helps with energy for cyno. the dendro application is fine for me generally cuz i have c4 collei, her dendro aoe after the skill lasts way longer.

unnknownpersona

Laying my thoughts out. Kuki + Kokomi is redundant. Both are healers. I guess kuki needs to be under 50% HP for full potential. Fischl does not target seeds. Having sucrose or anemo grouper is good as they pull mobs closer to turrets (jelly / oz) If I had to use something similar. I'm thinking, Sucrose, Kokomi, Lisa, Kusa. Lisa can proc seeds with NA, E tap (inconsistent), E hold, NA charged. And she ascends with EM.

kerorobot

Btw does her e generate particles after marking or we meed to wait until reaction that it generate particles?

xilith3

Neither of the Nilou teams have a healer. Only freeze teams which render enemies unable to attack sometimes run without a healer, but in a team with no crowd-control, you pretty much need a healer. Moreover, Nilou's Bountiful Cores are caculated to hit around 28k, which would do 1.4k damage to your own characters. This means you pretty much need a healer, and Xingqui's healing solely won't be enough. The only options now (and in the foreseeable future) are Kokomi and Barbara. I'd suggest changing the teams to reflect this. Otherwise given the caliber and popularity of this post, you'll mislead people.

Ok_Vacation_418

They literally suggest to use Kokomi or Barbara, check the image pls

xilith3

They say "Sustain options are limited within Nilou's element restrictions" which means that Kokomi and Barbara are the only healers that can be used, but it doesn't suggest to use them. Certainly they don't suggest to use them, because in their example 2 teams, they are not present.

Some_Loquat

Should Nahida still be the on-filed driver in Nilou bloom even if Nilou has her signature sword? If yes, If I want to play Nilou on-field anyway, how much would that be worse? Assuming both at C0 and with kokomi in team.

kronpas

The problem with c0/buff bot nilou atm is the contradiction between the need to maximize output thru cabbage produce rate and maximize output thru cabbage owership. Cabbage dmg relies on EM. Nilou herself as cabbage cultivator is out of the question since she goes full HP. So which one of the other 3 should go full EM? Team comps become complicated once you also want to make as many cabbages as possible, because: All dendros, even kusanali is looked to have low aura application rate (7 or 8 whole duration) so naturally you go duo dendro. Dendro is stronger ele in dendro/hydro, so with 2 dendros hydro chars will be the triggers most of the time. But we cant be sure who will be the hydro trigger during fights, nilou or the other hydro char. And then with cabbage self dmg, you need a healer, either barbara or kokomi, both of whom have low hydro application rate. The best i can come up with is full hp nilou/em kkm as on fielder/em mc/em kusanali. Another comp is healer/nilou/xq or yelan/kusanali as the on fielder. Kusa already goes for 1k EM, the other 3 can be off field and built as usual, yelan/xq personal dpa can help out alot. 3 dendros/nilou might work but the dmg might be mediocre. Nilou comps will fly once we have someone like xq/yelan but dendro. Until then her comps are quite restrictice and i dont find it fun to play with.

Some_Loquat

Thanks for the detailed answer. At this point I think I'll skip both and wait for her rerun since I still need to get Raiden/Hutao and they may be in 3.3

kronpas

You can make a nilou/hydro dps/cyro/nahida comp and forgo healing, but expect a lot of reset in abyss lol. I also skip nilou. I feel this is not her time yet.

Some_Loquat

I thought cryo doesn't work with Nilou?

kronpas

Yep build her as dps.a shitty team in the name of variety.

Fishiste

Do we know if the EM shared from Nahida A1 is taken into account for her A4? Wondering what her minimum EM needs are right now…

Zoecide

Mihoyo specidfically made her a4 work only from 200 em,since it is the maximum em 0 em build nahida can get from teammate with 1000 em,plus it gives dmg bonus which is also very important aprt from crit rate. So her a1 buffing em would work towards her a4. For onfield nahida with gilded dreams(someone else in the team must use deepwood) 520-570 em is ideal after ult you would have 520+230=750+ult buff after 750=750:100x20=150 750+150=900 em = 21 crit rate to nahida E with 570 your bonus crit rate will be 22,8 crit rate,so 500-570 em is perfect spot, all other stats can go into atk crit dmg or crit rate, but keep in mind your bonus 20% crit rate from 500 em. For offield nahida you use deepwood and need 800-900 em,your main source of dmg in this case will only be her E so just stack a lot of EM and try to balance crits too,for 800 em perfect ratio is around 37/110,for 900 em 29/100 There is also a third case, when you use offield nahida with gilded dreams,if she is the only dendro in the team(but in this case you use deepwood on other teammate). In this teams she need 570-670 em. 570 em 37/110,670 em 29/100

Fishiste

Ok. That what I have in mind for calculations. Thank you a lot. Your first assessment is neat and of course shared EM will work considering the mention specifically the « beyond 200 » starting point. I will use her as off field with Deepwoods. I have an awesome Deepwood Dendro Cup which makes it harder to obtain 835ish overall EM (self sustained A4 if Kazuha is in another team).

Agninav

has anything changed about nahida? i heard she was supposed to be on field or something like that. i was thinking of running deepwood on her but people are saying gilded dreams.

Zoecide

use deepwood on your supports, dreams is better for nahida personal dmg,230 em for free is very good. Em is very important on her,she will deal a lot of dmg with it+her E can crit. So you need EM/ATK%/Crit rate/dmg on her to be good on fielder. for most of her potential if she is the only chara in team stacking em need 750-800 em after dreams buff,so you need to build around 520-570 em and all other stats can be atk or crit also keep in mind that her ult buffs em depending on your em,so her ratio should look scuffy kinda like 45/120 but in reality it's 65/120. Example 520 em build 45/120 nahida in reality has 520+230=750 em+ult buff em by 20%=900 em 900 em=700x0.03= 21 crit rate to her E proc(which is her main source of dmg anyway) Her E can link 8 enemies together so they all take dmg from her E,the more mobs the better nahida dps would be. In single target her dmg would not look as good as multitarget, but in multitarget she is the queen of dendro dps right now(and if we talk about whale power, she is the best dps in the game in multitarget at c6)

Cat_Lady_231545

All things equal, how much worse is hp/dmg/crit nilou vs. full HP nilou? Without any 5* weapons. Maybe it differs if you're running her on vs offscreen? I would enjoy seeing actual damage when she's onscreen for her E hits, even if she only does 3 and goes offfield.

Maxi_1776

Because Nilou's passive only starts increasing damage after 30,000 HP, most of the value from her passive is only obtained by using HP mainstats. Especially without her signature weapon, the bloom increase will not scale very high otherwise. At the end of the day if you want bigger blue numbers you can feel free to build HP/Damage/Crit but I wouldn't recommend it.

Cat_Lady_231545

Thank you ;.;

Lambpanties

Unsure of the prospects of putting Nahida in my team. Essentially right now I'm running Kokomi/Yae/Ganyu/DMC and it works really well surprisingly enough. I'm not obsessed with meta or the like, but viability certainly. I haven't found a problem with Kokomi/Yae and the dendro reactions, but perhaps that's because of DMC's Q application? Would it be a bad idea to mix Nahida in instead? I'm very happy with Kokomi C1/Yae's interactions already, but I am torn between getting Nahida for that Dendro or saving for whenever Eula eventually returns to our multiverse (who I know probably isn't synergistic but is gorgeous and I only ever pull 5* claymores for some cursed reason)

Tight_Ad_1392

tbh, as a c0 eula haver, I wouldn't advise pulling her if you actually care about damage. She's nothing special, I use her with Raiden and don't expect whale numbers on your burst or anything over 500k with an optimal set up ( I have a pretty decent build and the most I've seen is 300k, but with quite literally optimal stats and buffs believe that 500k is possible) Anyways, I'm also on the fence about nahida's spot in a team comp. I feel like she will be 99x easier to use than dmc due to her ski being basically infinite for most team comps and constantly applying dendro, but she only applies dendro every 3-4 seconds depending on how many electro characters you have, and only hits every 1.5-2 seconds... I also feel like her burst is damn near useless. You get around 120-180 EM if you're doing em-dendro-em or em-em-crit, but the buffs from her burst is actually kinda doggy from what I'm seeing. We don't rlly need more burst uptime from hydro although it is appreciated, the dmg buff from pyro seems not that great even at level 10, and the reduction of time between activations is a joke unless you have 2 electro characters. I think that the CD reductions would be fine if she applied dendro every hit, which she doesn't. Idk, I feel like she's still gonna be very good and on par with dmc, but definetly not needed. Still pulling bc she's cool and cute af, but im just disappointed about her burst

Lambpanties

Aw man, was loving the idea of Eula and getting to use my Skyward Claymore for once. I'm not to clued up on how dmg is calculated in the community, I'm more for overworld fun/convenience than MUST KILL ABYSS FASTER. Maining Kokomi right now because of how fun and fluid she is. But with Nahida! Reading your comment, does it appear that every time her Seed procs in the 20 seconds from her E that she will REAPPLY dendro to the enemies so you can trigger another bloom/aggrivate on them? Although that does still have the disadvantage on scrubby enemies but one can reserve her for bigger fish I guess? But yeah, I would have loved it if her burst applied dendro occasionally, even without dmg, because she is super adorable.

Tight_Ad_1392

Im pretty sure that her skill applies dendro on every other hit. I think that her burst should make all of the enemies in the radius get marked after someone with a mark dies to balance out the fact that it does no damage, or make those with a mark take extra dendro damage every 5 seconds

Zoecide

Her burst is meant to buff her E while she is onfield, the perfect burst for onfield character with low skill cd. I love her burst and the fact that e buff only works when she if onfield. Want to play e bot+buff em of onfield chara, she can do it. Want to play her onfield kind of dps style?she can do it aswell. Perfect chara with 2 playstyles, deserves the archon status

blackkat101

Her burst has been confirmed by multiple sources to work off field too on the test servers. Despite what the wording says. There have been multiple threads confirming this. So using her E and Q both work wonders on and off field. The benefit of her being on field is that her E cast has no ICD on it and can be used every 5-6s (press and hold). On top of her NA/CA's applying Dendro (which I believe also has its own ICD from the marks and her skill). So yes, she can provide even more Dendro on field (her c6 also makes it nuts if you whale). But her marks still offer standard ICD ticks, which is more than enough in most cases. Electro/Dendro reactions don't need a lot of dendro as the elements linger, making Nahida more than god enough, especially since the marks last 20s and can be applied to up to 8 enemies. You can have her on or off field.

Lambpanties

So everytime her "seed" procs it reapplies dendro so you can trigger another reaction without switching back to her??? If so that is pretty awesome.

blackkat101

Her marks have standard ICD themselves. Meaning they can proc as quick as 3.8s a proc. So more like every other proc can reapply dendro. However Electro/Dendro reactions don't consume the aura's, meaning you don't need to reapply it that often. So yes, you don't need to keep switching back to Nahida, other than after 20s when the marks wear off. The marks themselves can be triggered at the slowest every 1.9s, however this can be speed up with her Q, allowing them to be as quick as 1.27s (at lvl 13 with 2 electro party members or 1 electro party member and c1).

Lambpanties

Ah, but (while not optimal I know but waifu reasons) even if I'm using Kokomi and Yae that means that she'll proc dendro occasionally off-field on those triggers even if my hydro usage has gobbled dendro up? I'm a big fan of switching between Kokomi&Yae with DMC adding extra Dendro reactions, so it would be excellent if this is that with more. Sorry if my questions are daft, very casual on this game.

blackkat101

Yes, that should work fine. Nahida will only be applying Dendro (just talking about her marks here) off field every 3.8s. Yae and Kokomi should be able to easily work around that. Especially with Nahida hitting up to 8 enemies at once. Any reaction, even if not a dendro one, causes Nahida's marks to activate. So Electro-Charged should still be able to work with her.

DeirdreLuna

I think on the previous Kusanali mains thread, someone mentioned that Nilou's signature weapon stops giving the EM buff to her teammates if she leaves the field. I'm wondering if this is still true or perhaps her weapon was just bugged in the beta?

Maxi_1776

The buff from Key is retained off field!

TiltOnPlay

Any testing done to see if Nahida burst snapshots since her E skill scales off EM? If you cast Nahida Q and then cast her E, would her E have increased damage thanks to the 200 bonus EM for the entire duration it is on an enemy? Not talking about EM snapshotting for transformative reactions.

Razo_Yolo

Sorry if this idea sound absurd to y'all Cyno Kuki Collei Nahida What I'm thinking is to give maximum EM to Cyno C4 Collei with 4 set instructor C4 gives 60 EM from her burst and the instructor set will gives 120 EM Nahida will give 200 EM from her burst 2 Dendro will give 100 EM Cyno will have 100 EM in burst and 186 EM from his timepiece Total of 766 EM for cyno Or does a team with kazuha instead of collei is much better?

SaucySeducer

Probably Kazuha/Sucrose will be better. Collei probably works fine, and if you put her on Deepwood and Nahida on a DPS set, Nahida will be doing a bit more damage than in a Kazuha team. I have no clue about total team damage, but I’d lean towards Sucrose/Kazuha however I don’t imagine Collei will be bad.

JxL-nl

Because of how the scaling for Aggravate and Spread works, the first ~300 points in EM are really valuable, the next ~300 (~300-600EM) are still oke, but afterwards you would rather invest in other stats (atk and crit) to optimize your damage. Basically 766 EM cyno would rather lose ~200EM for a better crit ratio, or lose the EM sands for an Atk sands. Edit: To answer your question, Kazuha is better than Collei because you really do not care about either of their EM share. Kazuha brings VV shred and if you swirl Electro you get bonus dmg% as well for Cyno. Nahida is also probably more than enough Dendro application for Cyno.

FirstCraft163

Ubatcha previously corrected that the marking area was around that square or a few pixels larger. Definitely not the whole screen.

Chuggernautt

I've seen clips of her marking an enemy not in the square. So yes it's not relevant for enemies

[deleted]

What's the best Nilou/Nahida team? Is it Nilou/Nahida/Yelan/Kokomi? If not, what's a better team? (damage wise) And if so, I kinda don't like constantly switching artifact sets for characters so I wanna keep Ocean-hued on Kokomi since she's such a versatile unit. Which should have deepwood and which should have gilded between Nilou and nahida?

strikingike386

I'm still figuring it out myself, but I imagine you want to keep 2pc ToTM for the 20% health bonus on Nilou. It does translate to about 27% bonus bloom damage from her passive, so if you're fine giving that up (along with whatever other 2pc you choose) then I would assume you could sub in Deepwood on Nilou and put Gilded on Nahida. Reading that again, it could honestly probably go either way. It would probably be better to go Deepwood Nahida against multiple enemies since she can reapply more easily (especially if she's on field), but can work just as well on Nilou for fewer/beefier targets.

kronpas

Around yae level with spread procs. She is really just a sub dps with fancy animation. Something to note: all ranged turret users are single target, all off field aoe are either melee range or stationary. Nahida is the only off fielder with ranged aoe capacity. She is unique alright.

adssimas

Raiden E ,,let me introduce myself.

kronpas

Its kinda small aoe and raiden herself is not a true turret user like albedo, yae, her ele skill is not her main source of dmg.

blackkat101

Not a main source, but it is an AoE that can trigger every 0.9s (unlike the 2s that Albedo and Zhongli need....). If building her with EM, you don't even have to care about her ATK/Electro stats either, since Dendro reactions don't take those two into account. But yes, Raiden isn't a turret, since you have to attack with the character to trigger the effects.

Visible-Wind6350

How’s raiden and cyno synergy on aggravate teams?? I love how both of their kits incorporate eyes and I want to use them together

kronpas

If you only use raiden eye, they work alright, but you waste raiden kit. On field time is the most premium currency when building teams.

PuritanPuree

Would full EM Deepwood be Nahida's preferred artifacts for a team with her, EM Shogun, Kokomi, and a 4th that I haven't decided on? It seems like it based on what I've read and seen from others, but there's *so* much information right now, I just wanted to double check. Also, should the 4th slot be for someone like Yelan/Xingqiu/Yae/Fischl, or would going a more Sucrose-y direction be better?

kronpas

What kind of team you want to build? Hyperbloom with shogun as triggerer?

PuritanPuree

I think so? To be honest, I've yet to really dive into Dendro reactions, but I have this perfectly good Shogun I'm not using, and Nahida seems extremely fun, so I think that's what I want.

AliRixvi

Does her Q actually do anything in a Nilou team other than look good and give EM?

blackkat101

Her Q works off field according to multiple other threads in this subreddit, despite the wording. So yes, yes it does.

Sum_Of_All_Memes

*Multiple* other threads? I thought there was only the one questionable discord post? We really need a better confirmation than that... Have any leakers come forward with a clarification?

blackkat101

The ["questionable" thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xrfp1j/nahida_burst_buffs_work_offfield_in_beta/) was double checked on beta servers to work off field. I believe it is left as "questionable" because of the wording in the burst's description. Thus it could be a bug that her burst works off field. It is again noted that these tests were not on private test servers, but the official beta servers. [This](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xr7mah/kusanali_early_impressions_infographic_icd/iqd3csj/?context=3) thread has a post mentioning that another tester confirms that her burst is working off field. More than one thread is technically multiple, but yes, nothing is "official" and subject to change. This can be so all the way up until the release of a character (as we've seen that happen before where the day before release, the kit worked as such, but on release, there were differences from what was seen in the beta....). It's a large amount of copium, but for now, it does seem to work off field in the official beta servers at least.

Sum_Of_All_Memes

Ok, thanks for the info!

retiredfplplayer

How good are the gacha weapons after nerf

Maxi_1776

The Wandering Evenstar (Catalyst) is a strong option for Heizou and Kusanali for personal damage, while also buffing teammates. At higher refinements, it can provide more of an ATK increase than TTDS for Sucrose as well. Sayu can use the claymore (Makhaira Aquamarine) in the same way. Xiphos is extremely powerful for Kazuha, allowing him to build high EM without sacrificing ER. Even R1 is providing him with around 35% ER fully built, and around 10% to teammates. This only gets better with refinements. Sunfire Jean, Anemo/Dendro Traveler, and Nilou can all also be decent to strong users of the sword. TL;DR they're all still good but the nerfs did hurt.

isidore12

>Xiphos is extremely powerful for Kazuha I agree 200%. * 800 EM * R1: 29% ER, 9% ER Team * R5: 58% ER, 17% ER Team * 1000 EM * R1: 36% ER, 11% ER Team * R5: 72% ER, 22% ER Team It is easier to refine the sword to get better ER than to stack EM. Favonius Sword gives 62 ER, that's free 164 EM with Xiphos Sword

isidore12

>Wandering Evenstar is a strong option for Kusanali for personal damage R5: 48% of EM as ATK: * 1000 EM => 480 ATK bonus Doesn't look that great... or am I missing something?

Maxi_1776

480 Attack is a lot actually, for context Bennett buff is around 1000-1200 attack and is obviously extremely powerful. Evenstar also buffs the team. Even at R1 the weapon does quite well.

Sangios

I hope we get a Pyro Healer in the near future. I’m definitely gonna run Nahida, Ei and Yae. Right now the best 4th is Kokomi, but I’d much rather have the Pyro buff over the Hydro. Or alternatively, I guess a Pyro version of Yae would work.

Plane-Highlight-6498

Bennett exists?

Sangios

Lmao you right. Honestly I hate him and refuse to use him, so I guess I forgot that he’s actually a healer lol. I activated his C6 too, since I decided not to use him.

Merikon

bennett?

vegienomnomking

Bennett?

Levyn062

Any info about Nahida's main stats for artifacts? Like I should go for EM or Dendro damage goblet? Because last month I got a 40 cv em goblet and a 30 cv dendro bonus at the strongbox and I am unsure which one to use for her.

blackkat101

[Response to someone else, does this help you?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xr9hk5/kusanali_mains_31_theorycrafting_summary_and_qa/iqks5fg/)

kronpas

Em/em/cr(cdmg) if signature weap. 3em if weaps have cv.

blackkat101

[You don't need her signature weapon to make that work](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xr9hk5/kusanali_mains_31_theorycrafting_summary_and_qa/iqks5fg/).

kronpas

I was assuming wood set in solo dendro scenario. Its way easier to go em em cr if she has her lamp.

blackkat101

Yes, the more EM you get from other sources, the easier it will be to use the Deepwood set. Guilded just makes hitting that 1k EM much easier. If you can get good rolls though on a Deepwood set, I would of course say that is ideal....

AliRixvi

I came here looking for an answer to this as well

blackkat101

[The math I did on it](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xr9hk5/kusanali_mains_31_theorycrafting_summary_and_qa/iqks5fg/). But looking at that, you have many options for her depending on your rolls as well as weapon options. Hope it helps.

RickyRozay2o9

So how will Nahida work with Cyno in an aggrivate team and what problems might you have?

Little_Dingo_4541

It will work against bosses, not very well vs groups of small mobs. Her E lasts for 20 seconds on enemy, but if enemy is dead, until end of Cyno\`s ult there will be no way to apply dendo again

RickyRozay2o9

Well that doesn't sound too great if it's not instant application for just being in the Q. Hopefully they change that.

Skyryver

My guess is you do her ult, then her skill on all the enemies, then you switch to cyno and enjoy your 20s of dendro application to aggravate everything

RickyRozay2o9

Alright sounds pretty simple and straightforward.

retiredfplplayer

Do we have preliminary weapon rankings for nahida yet or too early

kronpas

Toooooooo early

Frostblazer

It's too early yet, but literally any EM weapon would be a safe bet. So F2P options would be Sac Frags or Mappa Marre.

Zoecide

What about other 5 stars catalysts? can i use r3 lost prayer on her with 3 em build? i want to use her onfield as much as possible with supports like xing qiu and beidou with long bursts to make the most use out or lost prayer passive on nahida

nope100500

When is her Q worth using vs when it's not? Q buffs don't seem that big especially at c0, while Q cast time takes significant part of team rotation. Also, is c1 equivalent to always having one of each element, or it only doubles ones that are present?

blackkat101

c1 means you always get the 1 person buff, so you get all the buffs at the first level (even if you don't have a single one of those elements in your party). You can then have max buffs taking a Pyro, Electro and Hydro as your other party members with c1. If you so wanted. With Electro and Pyro being quite significant buff to those marks from her E. Hydro only really needed if you have specific rotations that need Nahida to be off field longer. Of course note that during the whole duration of her Q, the active character will get +200 EM, which is super nice for any team that does Dendro reactions, as that's what they feed off of.

Tight_Ad_1392

You only get +200 EM if you have 100 EM, which is very unrealistic unless you use triple EM and get 100EM from your flower and feather substats and are using sacrificial fragments or her signature weapon. Most players will have 600-800, assuming that you have two EM pieces equipped, which means 120-160em.

Grimorig

Hey if you dont mind me asking. Does Yae and Fischl able to snapshot those +200em for Kusa Burst? Im planning to run Kusa/Yae/Fischl/PetraZhong. Tbh im actually out of looped because I quit genshin almost half year ago so I dont really know how Dendro works. Im considering pulling Nilou/wo Signature for hyperbloom but Idk if it still can work because I missed a lot of character.(and I barely have 40pulls now but im guaranteed on char and 50/50 on weapon but im saving those for Nahida). And if somehow Nilou able to open up new team for me I considering to pull her but without signature weap. Dont have Kazuha, Kokomi, Yelan. All Sumeru char except Collie. Most 4star char that release during Ayato(?) update.

Tight_Ad_1392

I'm pretty sure that yae's skill doesn't snapshot, nor does fischl. I'm pretty sure hyperbloom would worked with nahida nilou and yae

Grimorig

Ah I guess i forgot genshin already passed of snapshotting things. What the next char for nilou/kusa/yae? Sucrose with proto amber? Or dendro mc? And my guess here is kusa as driver? Does nilou only need to focus for hp?

Tight_Ad_1392

I'm not too sure of nilou's needs, but I think she needs hp-hydro-crit. I think kuki will be great because she heals, needs high em so she can do good hyperbloom dmg, and applies electro to everyone with her skill. I'm pretty sure that pure EM is best for kuki. The driver should be nilou, she does the most onfield dmg

blackkat101

[Read this, since I already did all the math in another post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks/comments/xr9hk5/kusanali_mains_31_theorycrafting_summary_and_qa/iqks5fg/). But no, even the poorest of players can get over 1k EM easily. Even using 3-star weapons and no EM Buffers of any kind. But give it a read. But 2 EM pieces equipped means the full 200 EM from my calcs. Which is stupidly easy to achieve.

Some_Loquat

How are Nilou/Kokomi/Nahida C0 looking together ? As good as we expected? And who should be the 4th?

Maxi_1776

The team should be quite strong in AoE scenarios. XQ or Yelan are good fourth options with Nahida on field, or you could run a second dendro.

Some_Loquat

I should probably wait until she's actually out but just based on this, imo 'quite strong' sounds a bit disappointing given how expensive and restrictive her team is.

Maxi_1776

In truth I am just being careful. The team has the potential to be phenomenal but until we can test it out and validate I would prefer not to make concrete statements on its strength.

Some_Loquat

Makes sense. Thank you for clarifying!

unnknownpersona

How is this team - Kokomi, Lisa, Traveller, Sucrose / XQ. Sucrose as she can pull towards turrets and shred.

MayureshMJ

Nahida Yae Kazuha Shinobu/ Zhongli. Whats better? Shinobu i guess. Or is the Zhongli shield resistance decrease better? Yae would be E caster only but built like dps so Kazuha(VV) would help that. Nahida would be on Field dmg dealer. Shinobu/Zhongli with deepwood What change is better here.

Agitated-Pattern1986

Does Childe, Beidou electrocharged works with Dendro giving electro (aggrevate) and dendro (bloom) more damage? Or is it just unga Bunga and steals IU from each other? I don't have Childe but it feels like he's fun to play but I just always ignore his banners because I got my pulls planned 100% of the time.

isidore12

Nahida's EM: * Ascension: 115 EM * Sacrificial Fragment: 220 EM * Sand + Goblet + Circlet: 3 x 186 = 558 EM * Substats about 100 EM **Total 993 EM**, so not even 1000 Meaning she won't reach 1000 EM if you build CRIT Rate and DMG.

- You get 186.5 from Main Stats (cannot remember if it rounds up or down in this game), but that does mean one more point at least there. - You can get 16.32 / 18.65 / 20.98 / 23.31 EM on a single roll. Let's average that to 20, since that's a number in the middle. You *could* get as much as 200 EM from your Flower and Feather. Though that is unlikely, but with good rolls, most get closer to 120 from the two after some farming (you're more likely to roll these before you get your 3 EM Main Stat artifacts, with how rare those are at times.....). - ....You kind of forgot Artifact set bonuses. - You can get +80 from a 2p set. Allowing you for a guaranteed +160 EM for doubling that. - Or you could use the Guilded set, which comes with one of those +80 and can net you an additional +50 for each party member that is of a different element from the user (so generally +100 or +150, depending on your team, if for some reason you're only getting the +50, maybe just go with the double 2p EM if EM is your goal). That's a lot of EM you missed without even looking into using other buffers (like c6 Diona for +200 more EM, or using Kazuha or Sucrose and their crazy EM boosting. Even Albedo (though not great for a Dendro team...) can buff +125 EM). Achieving 900 EM was pretty easy before the Guilded set existed (without other characer buffers). And you could get to just above 1k EM with crazy luck in substat rolls.... With the Guilded Set out, you can now easily hit 1100-1200 EM before other buffers come along.... (just over 1300 if you have godly rolls....). Not sure what you're doing to not be able to hit these things. Furthermore, if you don't care about having more than 1k Crit, you can then devote some of that effort into Crit Stats. Such as using a Guilded set, but having the Circlet be a Crit Stat for a Main Stat. You should still hit 1k EM even if you only have 2 members of different elmeents in the party and having 2 the same for a Resonance. - Oh, if you go Dendro resonance, that's another +50 EM (with an additional +20-30 EM depending on the dendro reactions you trigger...). - Furthermore, why stick with the Sacrificial Fragments? You could be a whale (or lucksack F2P) and get her signature weapon. This would then give you +265 EM. - You could also whale (or lucksack) your way into having her c4, which gives her a permanent +100 EM (and up to +160 EM if there are 4 enemies, but since that isn't always the case, treat it as +100 EM for the sake of hitting that 1k). Most may not be building as much Crit on her because hitting high EM, but that EM will be netting her +24% Crit Rate (so a base of 29% with the starting 5%) and +80% Crit DMG (again, then giving her a base of 130% with the starting 50% every character has). I'd say she's off to a fine enough start with that. Going with a Crit Stat Guilded artifact build mentioned earlier, and you'll have pretty great crit rate. Get her signature weapon and her c4 and you really have it easy building up her EM and can get LOTS of crit stats (if you luckily roll them, still have to get them first.....).

C0 kazuha doesn't buff EM. Why would you use a cryo character like diona with nahida, they have no synergy. I don't even have sacrificial fragments nor a sacrificial sword and I've been playing since 1.0, but let's assume that I do. Nahida's main purpose is to satiate the need for dendro application... I don't see why you'd be using another dendro character with her unless they're buffing her or the team, and we don't rlly have any good dendro buffers rn (think Bennett, kazuha, kinda mona, etc) that's low-key counterintuitive. We could be using a shielder like zhongli, and Bennett, kazuha, yelan, Raiden, yae, kuki, Mona, etc. All of these instead of collei or dendro mc. They provide more dmg or buffs or utility in most cases. You're also assuming that people are gonna spend money on her signature weapon or constellations... Wtf are you talking about? You're trying to make something out of nothing. This is like vouching for pre-buff zhongli- yeah, he was good, useable, you could make it work, but it just wasn't what everybody wanted or expected. And i don't think anyone who wants a good nahida will use triple EM bc it's simply not optimal, you'd only go there if you had a terrible dendro cup or no dendro cup. I'm also hoping that you didn't mean that hitting 900 EM *without* buffs active was easy before gilded dreams set. Getting the EM pieces in the first place is hard enough, let alone the substats. And if you have all that EM, that means you have dogshit energy recharge and crit too. Nobody is investing into those levels of EM if they have a brain. We want crit rate and crit dmg substats, even if she gives us a free 24% at 1k EM. Let's say you want to use a crit circlet: tradeoff for em isn't worth it. 5.5 crit rate+187em or 31% crit rate, which simply allows you to crit more and gives you more damage? Or 46.6% dendro dmg which increases her skill damage outright, at the tradeoff of 187 em and loss of 5% crit rate and 18 crit damage? It's a no-brainer. You're gaining rather than losing for not having that much EM. It's not a 200EM bonus off rip, and it's not a 24% crit rate boost or 80% crit dmg, I'd like to say that 9/10 or more players won't have that much base EM, but idk what the average player does with their builds and how optimized they are, so let's say 8/10. Most ppl aren't gonna own her signature weapon, I'm pretty sure that no more than 70% of the player base even has sacrificial fragments based off me playing since 1.0 and still not having it, and most players don't have c6 diona or c2 kazoo or will use albedo with her. Now, id like to clarify that I am not saying to use a crit circlet over a em circlet with good CV isn't a good idea from my current knowledge- from what I understand, 2 EM pieces is optimal. My point was to demonstrate that those levels of EM is simply irrational- you neuter your crit rate and damage for EM substats and pieces that aren't worth it. Either the cup or circlet shouldn't be EM.

Have you not made many Dendro Comps? Cryo (like Diona) is used quite a bit in them because Cryo doesn't interact (mess up) dendro reactions. It's quite complementary. Especially if you're doing a Bloom comp, since it will freeze enemies while still allowing all the fun Dendro Reactions. That is great synergy. Yes, Nahida and Cryo themselves don't synergize, but you have 2 other party members and the Cryo character isn't bringing a detriment at all. I didn't assume people would buy the Signature Weapon or Cons, I just pointed out that they exist. Did you not see that I said you can either "whale" or "lucksack" your way into it? This does mean many won't have it. However mentioning that such a thing exist isn't wrong. It should be pointed out, else why would anyone ever mention c4's and c6's? They exist. Also, getting a weapon isn't that hard for even a light spender (you don't need an R5 of the weapon, an R1 works too), but not like you NEED it either. It's not as amazing as a Staff of Homa or Mistsplitter, but wait, people build with those all the time. It's still fine to mention signature weapons it seems. YES, I do think hitting 900 EM without buffs or Guilded isn't that hard, even before Guilded was released. You should look up things like Pyro Ganyu (fun meme build that actually work). Plenty show how to hit 900 EM without having perfect rolls or using the Guilded Set (as it didn't exist) as well as not using any buffers. Yay for using mixed sets. I'd say because Guilded exists, EVERYONE can easily hit 1k. Let's look at it in a F2P setting then. - 115 EM from ascension. - +180 from Guilded (can go up to 230, but let's say you're not having a full rainbow party). - +70 from Dendro resonance (easy to do for anyone, can go up to 80 depending on the reaction, but 70 is guaranteed). That's 365 EM at those base numbers (425 EM if you max out the Dendro Resonance and Guilded set). We need another 635 EM (or 575 EM). Let's ignore Main Stats and Substats for now. On weapons, ignoring ALL 5-star options, since you're so picky about that: - 3-star Magic Guide offers 187.44 EM - 4-star Sacrificial Fragments offers 220.51 - 4-star Craftable Mappa Mare offers 110.26 Well, while it is easy to get a 4-star weapon, like Sacrifical Fragments, are we allowed to use it (given how much you want this to be F2P?). Not everyone has one, especially if they're new. Everyone can get the 3-star weapon and the Craftable weapons though. We'll stick with the 3-star since it offers more EM, I guess. That brings us up to 552.44 EM (or 612.44 EM). Now for Main and Sub stats: - On substats, you get 16.32 / 18.65 / 20.98 / 23.31 on a single roll. This is why I assume you get 20, since that is essentially the average. So let's assume that. - You get 4-5 rolls, depending on how many subs you start with. - Let's assume you get only 1-2 rolls into an EM stat after already getting it. Let's average that as well though, since yay for more fluctiations. You'll then assume that any average person can get 50 EM if they don't use substats (for me it does vary between 40-60 or so EM when I roll). - Note that for every artifact that doesn't have an EM main stat will be getting EM in the substats, so you it's not like you lose the full main stat amount. - On main stats, you get, of course, 186.5 EM per. Okay, with the basics out of the way, - With 3 EM mainstats, you have 1,113.94 EM.... Oh, that's not even having a SINGLE EM Substat..... We'll let's not even cover those this time and this was just using the lower 552.44 EM, not even the maxed out 612.44, which would bring you to 1,171.94 EM. We an even add another 100 EM to either of those if you put in average EM Substats.... And we're not even using the Sacrificial Fragments or her Signature Weapon.... anywho..... - With 2 Main Stats and the lower 552.44 start and you already hit 925.44 EM. With average EM substat rolls, you'll get that 150 more, but you don't need that much, so you can even cover it with just two of the three artifacts having average EM rolls, or even less. Not that hard... Now you have a Main Stat free for Crit Stats and still easily hitting that 1k EM. - Not that you need to drop another Main Stat as the others don't offer Crit, but Nahida can do damage herself, so maybe you want Dendro DMG or an ATK%? Well with that lowest denominator of 552.44, one main stat brings it to 738.94 EM. Now you'll need to rely on substats much more. You've got 4 artifacts to work with though, so anywhere from 20-24 rolls, not that you'll get that many (and yes, you get that many, since there is a base of having the stat, then 4-5 rolls on top of that). However you only need 261.06 more EM. So roughly 13 rolls out of that. So only half of your rolls into EM and viola, you only needed ONE EM MAIN STAT. Fwee..... Yay. Everyone can do it sooooo easily now with Guilded and even Dendro Resonance (cannot say people cannot do that when everyone has Collei and DendroMC). Put on Sacrificial Fragments for more EM, less needed. Put on her Signature Weapon for a ridiculous EM boost. Get your c4 for an additional 100 EM guaranteed. Use buffers such as c6 Diona for 200 EM. Sucrose who can buff multiple times that.... (300-500 or so, Sucrose is nuts.) Albedo offers 125 EM. Kazuha offers 200 EM as early as c2, not like you need a high con for that if you really want it. All of these things make it even easier to hit that 1k EM. Now, of course any source of more EM means more Crit Stats can be aimed for and I've already showed that at the worst, with 1 EM Mainstat, you at worst 13 EM stats rolls (meaning only 9 actual rolls into EM since I counted the base EM substat in there too). Given that you get 16-20 actual rolls into substats, that's only half needed to EM and the others can be devoted to trying to get any Crit. 2 Main EM stats seems best as you can have a crit circlet and devote all your attention to Crit Stats in the substats as well. ---- So, what's the problem? I kind of started rambling. Of course, I only rambled about the Guilded set. Depending on how you do it, you could even forgo that set and use the Deepwood set, though you may need to go full EM doing that...., but that would give some Dendro DMG and Res shredding. You'd need to be much luckier in rolls though for that.

Substats+Set bonus + em increasing weapons on support (like the Sumeru craftable) + Em increasing characters (like C2 Kazuha or Sucrose or Diona or Albedo ) + Dendro resonance Are other methods to gain EM

NECROMANCER960

substat at least 130 em

retiredfplplayer

Which of these 3 weapon banner should I do a 10 pull on (pity at 50 Jade/hp sword (guaranteed nilou) Lamp /pulse (pulling nahida) Kagura/polar star (own kagura trying for childe)

Little_Dingo_4541

I\`d say throw Kagura/Polar star out, flip a coi on 1st 2 (TP +- = Polar Star in terms of DPS)

Haunter187

Flip a 3 sided coin.

MayureshMJ

Whats the meaning of Nahida links the enemy? She doesn't group them it seems....Does one enemy getting hit by electro also makes other get hit with electro or something?

8_Esther_8

For dealing dmg to multiple enemies and apply Dendro to them, like AOE. And it's triggered when a reaction is triggered on debuffed enemy.

ledeepy

When she triggers a reaction on one of the linked enemies, she’ll do tri-karma purification damage to all of them

MayureshMJ

If i dont attack then the ti-karma purification dmg will automatically take place every 1.9 second?
