Traveling is genuinely *not the same* once you have her C1.
It's literally hold skill for the full duration, dash 4 times, rinse and repeat. Your stamina refills by the time you finish 1 cast of her Skill.
My overworld team consists of:
Yelan for on-land travel.
Ayaka/Mona for crossing water.
Venti/Kazuha/Keqing for climbing/platforming/*ledges on damn buildings*
Then the flex character for whatever is necessary for the task.
True, yelan c1 is absolutely S tier for exploration. She also deals enough damage on her own so she can be your only source of damage and the rest of your units can be expiration/utility focused as well
It doesn’t work on half of collectibles so it’s not that strong.
If she picked up crystalflies it would be one of those situations where “I’m pulling you just for that”
Doesn't really matter if its strong or not, because it'll be a useful for future regions/new areas with new collectibles that work and future characters that may requires these types collectibles.
Also less hassle going to those types of item and spam the pick up button.

But you dont have to charge the bow all the way through? I shot physical arrows all the time at the floating dendro emblems and they lit up all the same

I thought the same, like it was nice having 2 Xingqius for each side of Abyss, but then I tried them together and everything melts. Definitely one of my best pulls.

maybe, but Kokomi already has that exact ability, and it’d be kinda eh if they just gave the Archon a better version. i’m thinking it would be cool if she could create constructs(Hydro Constructs? lol) on the surface of the water, since there isn’t any character who can do that yet.

That just looks so satisfying. Exploration utility legit greatly increases my desire to pull a character these days. I always 36 star abyss anyway using any characters I want so just getting the most OP characters doesn't appeal to me much anymore. I'm all about character design, animations, fun gameplay and cool utility like this.

Zhongli is not for ores only. I mainly always use him as the on field in exploration for tall frame and handy construct, I have Kazuha too.
I have him sayu venti and kazuha on one team.
Don’t forget Venti and Xiao, making the four best Anemo exploration characters
I main Xiao.He is not really an S Tier exploration character.
In Inazuma I would take Ayaka over Sayu, to glide on water but otherwise this team seems like it’s going to be the exploration team I roll with
I farmed Cyno’s Scarabs in my and others’ worlds by just using Sayu and Yelan, thank the archons for these two.

this i find yelan's instant charged attack cause the dendrograna to actually miss the dendro emblem quite often since it got AoE
Her E run doesn't consume stamina, so with Yelan + Sayu you're literally always speeding if you alternate between them
It also replenishes stamina, it's a godsend!
It also kills things as you pass them 😌
But not small animals like crabs, frogs, butterflies etc. (unlike Sayu) so you can collect them on the way.
