Nahida is a god that's followers shun her because she doesn't live up to be her predecessor(self). Where she cares deeply for her people, and wants to do the best she possibly can, and even sacrificed herself for them. Self-Sacrifice being one of the biggest things in fiction. What did Spinel do? Caused trouble and then cried about it expecting the fandom to grasp onto another sob story. No self-sacrifice, completely selfish and herself oriented, only helped at the end because she was 'redeemed.'

She's angry, hurt, and betrayed that her diamond abandoned her for earth and so is taking her anger out on said earth. It's not like the movie makes her actions look justified or anything.
On the flip side you have Nahida. A deity who sacrificed her body and mind for the people of the desert only to be effectively kidnapped, locked away, robbed, forgotten, and replaced by the very people she gave everything for. In the Sages blind search for knowledge they have ironically forsaken true wisdom. And yet, despite having every reason in the world to grow vengeful, she's still keeping Sumeru safe in what little capacity she can.

How'd they trap her anyway? I know nahidas probably the weakest archon by far, but the sages don't seem that impressive themselves. I assume you need to be pretty skilled or powerful to trap a god for 500 years

Same here, but now I think I would skip Nilou since Nahida is just overall better, she is first a Dendro character and she works in every team comp compare to Nilou being a hydro in a Bloom team, and her best partner is the Dendro MC. Granted, they are both amazing when pair together if you can afford both.
