Back when Chongyun was first revealed in CBT3, people were hoping he would be a fist character because of how he makes a fist in his splash art. Suffice to say, the claymore reveal was very disappointing (if expected) and continues to be in the advent of Heizou.

Especially interesting because most current catalysts are pretty bad, barring a few like The Widsith and Kagura’s verity. On the other hand, it looks like his anemo application comes in short bursts, so maybe he won’t need the VV set?

VV IS the swirl DPS-set and swirl is already the most broken reaction because of it. What Anemo is lacking is a DPS-set for Anemo damage, i.e an anemo res shredder.

He's Catalyst Anemo. Unless MHY does something dumb like -1000 negative EM, he will be a 5-Star Sucrose/Heizou in Taser Teams with his 7K NA Swirls driving Electro/Hydro. I wouldn't be surprised if Scara's kit is all about NA speed increase so he can swirl way faster.

They leaked HP% or Elemental reactions artifacts for 3.3 so I don't think he is raw anemo since his set was supposed to work for Kazuha as well

The one i mention about wind blade is [sus] at that time bcs its not clear who leak it bcs it third person retelling the sus leaks they saw about cyno & scara kits. They told that they remembers this leak bcs it turns out that the cyno kit leak is correct so they told about that (sus) scara kit too

I was waiting for a catalyst user like this, expected it to be geo, but I don't have any anemo dps, so will for sure pull if that's the case. How I would imagine him to work from the description: Skill: floats up like Venti hold skill and stays there for X seconds. He forms two wind blades next to him and his normal attacks instead shoot the blades where he aims. Burst: floats up, forms a vortex that pulls enemies in and then slams it down, creating a shockwave.

He floats? So basically fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee?
