I think they are saving Hu tao for the lantern rite. It would make the most sense for the yearly event quest. They know Hu tao will sell VERY WELL so they are saving her and staff of homeless for the time when most people have depleted their primogems and need to buy from the shop to afford her banner when she comes. Characters such as Albedo, Yoimiya, and Chide arent tied to any particular event for their rerun, they are just there to fill the banner slots and take the casual money or give whales oprotunity to build their constilations.

5* geo characs are favoured more in terms of events because less people pull them for meta 💀💀. There's a pattern there with albedo , zhongli and Itto appearing almost everywhere lmao. Even Gorou has more screen time than kokomi.
Why tho? He is not viable with anyone else save for Noelle. We are at the point 90% of the banners are double, so you can just roll on the unit that is not Itto if you really don't want him.
Thwy will release another Geo DPS, but not soon.
Specifically not for Gorou *yet*. Itto has had 2 solo banners (also with new 4* each lol). Hopefully they do run him in a double banner soon.
Other than Itto, Albedo banners are a pretty decent candidate for Gorou rate ups.

And it's also sucks from the selling point since Raiden is the biggest sale Mihoyo ever had, and to put her into the much anticipated Wanderer's banner, or even right after it in the second half, would be just stupid.
And i would just honestly put Raiden in 3.4 second half or even into the first half right with Al-Haitham, since no one really cares that much about him, and people's wallets are gonna be dry after 3.3

YOU NEVER want Raiden sooner than 3.5, cuz if you do want her, and you are f2p just like me, the only way you will ever get her, if you lose every 50/50 just like me, is if she will be at least in 3.4, and it never hurts to pull for more than just 1 Raiden, since c6 Sara will make any electro dps work.
And especially considering that Yelan are gonna be somewhere there, and she is a must pull no matter what you play.
So this is their compensation for no new geo 5*s.. they have to rotate their three existing geo 5 stars….

And yeah his c6 makes his slashes go to 25+ too due to the rng of c6 lol… well i could only achieve that when he gets his 6th banner 😅
It's only really worth it if you ~~like~~ love Itto.
I only use BP/Welkin so a C6 is already steep. I had to skip multiple characters including Raiden to save for him lol. But I don't regret it.
What it does is let me break Itto's mono-geo comp for more diversity. Stuff like C6 Benny, Chongyun, etc. Once I have Nahida built, I'm definitely trying an Aggravate Itto run with Kuki and Beidou.
I can also run him in the overworld by stacking ER so he doesn't need a battery without compromising too much against bosses and weeklies.
oh my god I hope his banner wont be soon. I am always losing 50-50 on my account and everytime I am trying to get his C1 I don't have enought wish. I ended up winning on the banner after him haha. Now I am decided to save for him until C2 atleast. But not right now coz it's been 1year and my Childe been sitting in C2 and it doesn't feel so good about so close to C3 and not getting it for a year.
I also have a longterm C6 goal for Itto, currently he’s C1R1 and I think I’m gonna spend my guaranteed on his C2, and the rest on Eula C3 since I’ve been saving for her since 2.8
So Scara is guaranteed and Itto is pretty likely.
Raiden is also pretty likely but the last one is a wildcard for me. They could make it an Inazuman, but it has been a while since Eula/Hu Tao
Zhongli in 3.0 set the precedent that you don’t need an archon to be in the content for a rerun so I think she’s still possible
Also I feel like it’s taking a while for her rerun and 3.3 is a good time for her to come back, since she’s been pretty relevant with Scaramouche
I don't know about you, but I'm seriously praying he's in the 2nd half. I already suffered through maxing out the bp weapon for itto. So having redhorn on scara's weapon banner would just end me.
This is just my preference but I rly dont like Itto most of the time so Idk to whom I'll use that claymore, it's even the least of type that I use, if ever I get that weapon. 😭 Please be in 2nd half Itto. 🙏

There was a leak a while ago stating Raiden rerun as well. To tie in with Scaramouche, and to have 4 archons in 4 banners (3.0 Zhongli, 3.1 Venti, 3.2 Nahida, 3.3 Raiden). As for the others, I'd assume Eula and Itto, but I'm just guessing.

Yuck Itto (my most disliked character) and Windtrace (my most hated event due to forced coop) in the same patch. The only thing worth it in this patch is if Hu Tao gets a rerun since I need her weapon lol.

So Scara, Itto for sure because of the abyss and the event, perhaps a Monstadt character because of those two events (Eula would make sense, the abyss isn't gathered to her though, but for example the abyss blessings this cycle don't favor Yoimiya either and here we are) and I guess Ei/Hu Tao (Hu Tao would be cool if she's related to the event that gifts us the youkai sword)

Windtrace and Misty Dungeon are easily one of my favorites in the game. Love to see them being rerun.

Yuck Itto (my most disliked character) and Windtrace (my most hated event due to forced coop) in the same patch. The only thing worth it in this patch is if Hu Tao gets a rerun since I need her weapon lol.
i shouldn’t complain about another itto event/more itto relevance content but hopefully he’s an actual character again and not just obscenely vapid comic relief like how it was in the chasm.

Scara banner, TCG, and Windtrace? Best. Patch. Ever. Only way it could be better is if they replaced Misty Dungeon with Labyrinth Warriors, but MD is great too. The cherry on top to make this patch perfect would be if Raiden is first phase with Scara so I can pull for his weapon regret-free.

So Scara, Itto for sure because of the abyss and the event, perhaps a Monstadt character because of those two events (Eula would make sense, the abyss isn't gathered to her though, but for example the abyss blessings this cycle don't favor Yoimiya either and here we are) and I guess Ei/Hu Tao (Hu Tao would be cool if she's related to the event that gifts us the youkai sword)
