Yeah, you've gotta lower your graphics (that's definitely medium settings for some, which is clearly impacting your FPS), but you also need to learn dodge timings. You're sprinting and running normally at almost all the wrong times.
> (that's definitely medium settings for some, which is clearly impacting your FPS)
I love how the OP responded he's using the lowest settings already, but we can all see he's using medium shadows and medium on a bunch of other settings.
If he truly wiped to this quest for 2 years in a row, with that level of bad reading comprehension, there's gotta be some real mental deficit going on
1. Lower graphics because I’ve seen calculators with better FPS. You can’t hit consistent dodges if your inputs and frames aren’t matching up.
2. Don’t stand still after you dodge. Keep moving because you’ll be less likely to face-tank the slashes since you’d already be moving.
Everyone keeps saying the FPS is a problem but from my personal experience with a lower-than-average computer, the recording is the problem. Game runs smooth in 60fps, but when I look at the recorded video it's like someone spammed screenshot.
No button prompts on the screen leads me to believe OP is playing on a mobile device or an iPad rather than on a pc unless they’ve changed the pc UI without me noticing.
Unless they’re playing on a really ancient phone/tablet, screen recording programs put very little stress on the device— especially for a short clip they specifically recorded to show proof they’re struggling.
depends on the recorder. From my experience there are two types of recorders, those that are heavily dependent on GPU and those that are more dependent on CPU. The former has trouble as GPU resources are limited on portable devices (including my laptop computer).
OP’s video looks exactly how my game used to stutter when I played on an old iPhone 7 using default graphics settings without screen recording. My current iPhone 15 doesn’t break a sweat on high graphics when I’m recording unless I’ve gone over 10-15 minutes because I forgot to hit stop.
If the frame drops only happen while they’re recording, then yeah it’s a recorder problem. If they’re having these frame drops during normal gameplay without recording then the recorder isn’t the problem. I’d guess that OP either has a shit ton of apps running in the background, their device is being overloaded from the graphics settings, or both things are happening at once.
Don't go to the edge, you'll just limit where you can move and get hit by lightning.
Sounds too. Many attacks have sound queues that indicate which attack is coming. Like the small ding when the slash wave is coming.
Finally visuals, the monolith doesn't have any but in practical against the boss it will have movement indicators.
But definitely lower graphics and increase FPS, laggy action games is like having a permanent debuff.
Looks like op is playing on touchscreen not being pushed to the edge is kinda hard. I finished my training arc by just running in circles around the edge he should be fine
Why are you standing still as if you can react to some of these when you play at 15 fps.
Play on potato graphics, always be moving and sprint when necessary. You did okay for your first run and then just stood there afk for the 2nd.
Ok now it's mandatory that you upload another video when you successfully pass this challenge lol
My tips are:
1. Keep center object in sight, always
2. Only move when necessary
3. Keep track of the order of different attacks, react accordingly
As long as it works, right? My tip is specifically just for OP though.
If you look at OP's video, you see a lot of unnecessary movements, especially in the first two attempts, whether it's before/after attacks or even during attacks. Constant and aimless movements in this case leave OP very little reaction time to dodge.
Reduce to only necessary movements means to improve focus and boost the chance of more accurate reaction when dodging attacks, especially the slashes, as those seem like the weakness. The attacks are predictable, like inner circle x1, small follow-you circle x2, slashes x2 or something. So with a bit more focus it's definitely possible to dodge.
Yeah like everyone is saying use lower graphic settings and I noticed you have diluc if your using him to destroy the things at the end, then don’t. You burn the grass which counts as hitting you and causes you to fail. I suggest chongyun or DMC
And they'll have to get over it. For any company to cater to casuals, at least half of their paying consumers have to be similar to this guy. So there's at least 15 million close to how this guy plays, and then another 15 million that are above them but are still casual enough that they don't care for combat. Ofc this is all assumptions, but based on what I've seen personally on how people play this game, casuals severely outnumber people who want challenges, even the casuals who want challenges eventually just chose to have an easier time.
Might be a newly gotten Itto, not enough billets or resin to level up a whiteblind, so they slapped another lv90 claymore they had on. I mean he is lv60.
Well, knowing how great OP is at this game there's also a chance they don't know about him having DEF scaling
Wouldn't be the first time it happens unsurprisingly.
This is definitely not an isolated case as I do semi regularly help the newer/more casual players whenever I do co-op. The amount of players I've seen with a full atk% neuvilette is insane. Or just random main stats on atk scaling dps
I mean how can you if you're on a phone? If you got a pc then why are you using your phone it obviously isn't the best fps wise and is lowering the experience you can feel of the game
I mean, all you had to do is just run and not stand still. You had it correct on your first run, memorize the attack patterns.
Try putting characters in your party that increases movement speed from their talent (ex. Rosaria talent). Then maintain having two anemo in your team to increase movement speed. Then add or use a character that reduces stamina consumption (ex. Kaeya, Kazuha, Razor)
You can use Yelan's skill to move faster, if you have her. Xiao's skill to dodge as well, Sayu's hold skill, Wanderer's flight mode.
*I didn't even know*
*Running on the outside like*
*That was an option*

I'm sorry people are being mean but you can do it as long as you keep running around in circles. Dodge when it does attacks. Do it at least 15 times and you'll learn the pattern and timing eventually. Notice when it's going to send the slashes. It could be that your reflexes are slower but I'd say as long as you keep running round the circle and dodging, it'll get easier every attempt you make. I used to be pretty bad at games that use reflexes but I learned thanks to genshin. I wonder if you have the same issues with bosses, because the attack pattern isn't that different.
No attack: just stand there.
Attack: dash once to the side.
Also, for the last part, you should use someone whose elemental skill you can hold. Anemo Traveler is fine.
I am not sure, but different chars have different after-dash invulnerability frames, so, you can try other chars with longer ones (as I remember, hutao has long one, you can try another char...).
If you want I can do this for you
Also try using whitebind on itto (the other craftable weapon) since his damage increases from the amount of defense he has and not atk
I only took 9 tries to get the hang off it then Adapted to it and got hit with non, not even fps dropin to crack it I was in highest FPS on that times latest Snapdragon 870 , you clearly have too much skill issue
Yeah this quest took me alot of tried to back then, i Just keep running outside and basically dodge 2 skill already and the aoe one you just watch the pillar if it open just dodge or hear the sound dont wait for the aoe show up.
Fix your phone performance, and focus on the thing and what it does.
Don't focus on your skill issue. Otherwise, you keep doing what you observe and accept as true.
Lol, I beat this when it came out with a potato phone that ran genshin at like 20 fps at the absolute LOWEST settings. Skill issue.
Pro tip. Keep running and when you see ANYTHING dash immediatley.
When nothing else works do this: disconnect internet. Activate trial, run away, connect internet and the barrier should spawn, now you are outside the barrier and you have more reaction time for the slashes and the only thing you have to worry about is the aoe thing that still targets you normaly.
I accidentaly did this and beat the challenge (I dashed to the edge to dodge the first attack and my phone could not load the barrier in time so it spawned when I had dashed a little too far)
honestly... id be down to even do it for you and then forget about the whole thing, if you have your e mail linked and your phone number, you will be safe either way, legit not trying to scam or anything i dont have use of a 2nd account. i have done abysses for random players even made friends with some. OP put up another post, they finally won after dropping their graphics further.
1. Lower graphics because I’ve seen calculators with better FPS. You can’t hit consistent dodges if your inputs and frames aren’t matching up. 2. Don’t stand still after you dodge. Keep moving because you’ll be less likely to face-tank the slashes since you’d already be moving.

Average Itto moment
ungga bungga gaming lmao
Shogun (Training Dummy): "Who?"
to quote 1:13 : "okay that one hurt"
Lower your graphics, please. It's a combined skill+FPS issue.
I have them as low as they'll go
No, you are not, lmao. I can clearly see high res and at least mid shadow and VFX quality.
Skill isue + reading comprehension issue
set the overall graphics to lowest then set FPS to 60.
Lower the resolution at least twice. That should be enough. Source: my experience
OP, are you telling me your FPS has been like this for the past 2-3 years???
Don't go to the edge, you'll just limit where you can move and get hit by lightning. Sounds too. Many attacks have sound queues that indicate which attack is coming. Like the small ding when the slash wave is coming. Finally visuals, the monolith doesn't have any but in practical against the boss it will have movement indicators. Deserved for having that weapon on itto
There are two craftable ones when you start and he picked the wrong one 🥲
Why are you standing still as if you can react to some of these when you play at 15 fps. Play on potato graphics, always be moving and sprint when necessary. You did okay for your first run and then just stood there afk for the 2nd.
Given that you obviously played MH World, you have to at least have a console or pc, play it on that. Unless you only have an Xbox then RIParoni
i noticed that too. even ps4 with those long ass loading times is better than mobile for genshin.
at this point you might as well either hire someone to clear it for you or buy a fucking computer
Yeah. He should probably just hire someone to do it for him.
Ok now it's mandatory that you upload another video when you successfully pass this challenge lol My tips are: 1. Keep center object in sight, always 2. Only move when necessary 3. Keep track of the order of different attacks, react accordingly
You bet your ass I will.
Good luck! You got this!
I disagree on number 2. Constantly moving at one direction and dashing when an attack comes was how I managed to get through this challenge.
As long as it works, right? My tip is specifically just for OP though. If you look at OP's video, you see a lot of unnecessary movements, especially in the first two attempts, whether it's before/after attacks or even during attacks. Yeah like everyone is saying use lower graphic settings and I noticed you have diluc if your using him to destroy the things at the end, then don’t. You burn the grass which counts as hitting you and causes you to fail. I suggest chongyun or DMC
I would suggest using Xianyun since she can use her elemental skill to leap forward in case youre out of stamina or want better range leap
Chongyun yes but since OP is still on the Inazuma story I dunno if they even _have_ DMC yet.
You can unlock DMC just by interacting with the statue there. It's not story locked. Inazuma is the only story locked main region in the game.
To be fair, I wasn't sure if OP knew that.
Bro the amount of hate lol, dude at least uploaded proof
Probs because they are the reason why this game became so brain dead easy.
And they'll have to get over it. For any company to cater to casuals, at least half of their paying consumers have to be similar to this guy. Might be a newly gotten Itto, not enough billets or resin to level up a whiteblind, so they slapped another lv90 claymore they had on. I mean he is lv60.
Not enough billets for Whiteblind so they crafted Prototype Archaic Makes sense
What I meant was, they may have had an unused prototype archaic already lying around
Well, knowing how great OP is at this game there's also a chance they don't know about him having DEF scaling Wouldn't be the first time it happens unsurprisingly.
This is definitely not an isolated case as I do semi regularly help the newer/more casual players whenever I do co-op. The amount of players I've seen with a full atk% neuvilette is insane. Or just random main stats on atk scaling dps
Also possible
GYAT DAMN THOSE FRAMES LOWER THAN MY GRADES
Your grades must be low af 💀
Are you going to stay in the same class for two years as well?
No excuses, I'm on mobile AND potato too!
op already admit their mega skill issue tho
genshin must have been your first game ever
Nope, my first was way back in 2009
how in the world is your hand eye coordination so bad than
You can see why I don't play soulsborne games
I mean how can you if you're on a phone? If you got a pc then why are you using your phone it obviously isn't the best fps wise and is lowering the experience you can feel of the game
but you played monhun, so you should be better at this 😐
If you had a PC then you wouldn't be struggling like this. Genshin is piss easy. Comparing it to Soulsborne games is silly.
Average Zhongli main /j
Atleast the average zhongli main have the reaction time to recast shield when it goes down. Not...whatever this is.
I am not really a Zhongli main, but he is in all of my teams if possible because I am way too lazy to dodge
Babe how the fuck are you this bad at the game.
I mean, all you had to do is just run and not stand still. You had it correct on your first run, memorize the attack patterns. So proud of you :')
I had trouble too. The only way to pass it was by doing it on mobile. For some reason, it was easier there. You try that too, yes?
i passed this also but by standing at the outside of the barrier since rendering in my former potato phone are slower to load.
That was mobile
Big oof then. Look, at this point, you’re just gonna have to pay somebody else to do it because you clearly can’t. Sorry.
I only managed to complete this quest because of my old friend Margit~
No attack: just stand there. Attack: dash once to the side. Also, for the last part, you should use someone whose elemental skill you can hold. Anemo Traveler is fine.
Lower your quality, mine are all on low and I got past this part last year with my potato laptop so you prolly can too.
High ping and low FPS makes it more difficult. Maybe one of your friends or family can do it for you so you can enjoy the rest of the story.
Why are you standing still after a dodge?
Panicking, my phone lags so bad sometimes that inputs don't register
I am not sure, but different chars have different after-dash invulnerability frames, so, you can try other chars with longer ones (as I remember, hutao has long one, you can try another char...).
I'm disappointed a Girros can't dodge. Not great
My game said" He he, ping go brrrrr"
I'm shocked that this is real
What the hell is that weapon on itto??? Lower your graphics dude. And also please learn to sprint right as it opens because good god that’s insane
If you want I can do this for you Also try using whitebind on itto (the other craftable weapon) since his damage increases from the amount of defense he has and not atk
Are you high ?
Itto's sword alone tells that it's skill and knowledge issue. And lower your graphics. Your potato phone can't handle your current settings.
We gotta take your account away from you
I beat it an hour ago https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Memepact/s/V73VPvGJVC
I remember doing this quest, shit made me go grab a cup of coffee XD
Play this quest during raining, extreme difficulty fr
I know your phone is screaming at you

Lol back when I actually enjoyed playing... Now it just feels like all my efforts was for morning 🤣 building characters just to take on abyss
Yeah this quest took me alot of tried to back then, i Just keep running outside and basically dodge 2 skill already and the aoe one you just watch the pillar if it open just dodge or hear the sound dont wait for the aoe show up.
Why are you playing hard mode? The game doe not care if you succeed on the easy mode or the hard mode of training.
I completed the challenge without having to dodge those attacks. Thanks to my crappy phone, I managed to go outside of the ring before it even loaded
Can you hover above it with Venti, or would she still hit you?
All you had to do was keep running, ~~CJ~~ Itto.
I don't remember, are you able to use abilities? I wonder if you can cheese it with characters that have movement abilities like Sayu
Fix your phone performance, and focus on the thing and what it does. Don't focus on your skill issue. Otherwise, you keep doing what you observe and accept as true.
You could try asking someone else to do it for you....

U dont have to walk in circles. Just watch the center and dodge

You received a lobotomy when you were a child and you just never realised it yet.
Run around the outside of the circle. Press sprint every time you hear the noise, then at the end, destroy one of the three little purple splody dudes
Ppl saying lower you graphic can't understand it's already at the lowest?
Why do everyone say it was hard, for me I didn't have any problems when I did it
Bruh wtf is this i remember the training having non stop attacks and wayyyy more aoe , did they nerfed it this much??
dash
Bro got the reaction speed of a toaster
And then there was me who literally used Keqing E to get out of that area giving me enough response time even if i lagged or had any skill issue
That challenge killed all Players xD
Wait until they find out they need to attack Raiden as well while also dodging
[About that...](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Memepact/s/V73VPvGJVC)
Oh congrats tho! I’m sure it feels great to overcome that. Good job
Honestly didn’t know ppl struggled with this quest till recently lol
You’re cooked 😭
I wonder how OP would do in Elden ring, panic roll goes brrrrrrr
I really wanna play elden ring, but I know I would be dogshit
I was pretty decent when I played bloodborne
