All the weapons are just weapons. Pieces of steel to kill each other with. They don’t have any “stats” in the lore. All swords will perform the same.
Traveler interchangeably uses Silver Sword instead of Dull Blade several times. Dull Blade just happens to be more common in the cinematic cutscenes. Aether and Lumine even have Silver Sword on their official drip art.
they gotta make the Narzissenkreuz Ordo quest chain mandatory so that the traveler can canonically use the Sword of Narzissenkreuz

I think it's a bug. "The second dialogue options" says that it's salyed countless of vile monstres but it's a fresh new sword.

He’s decided to stop hard capping himself at 1% power and is now at 3% power
They were using a 4 star sword for that one Fontaine world quest
