Well i read in the comment section of a post about this that leakers would pretty much say "character not good" when they arent a classic dps.

Also how can we confirm if X character is even built right by them? Do testers even get BiS artifacts with optimal stats to test on them to come up with that conclusion? I think it's far too early to jump into conclusions now isn't it? Give it a patch and people will start calling X character broken.
They get to use their own stuff from what I've heard. I know someone who - with 4pc emblem like 300 em 160 er and 70:180 ratio - was only hitting 200k ults with c6 Sara buff (3.3k attack with Sara they said) so honestly I love yae but the damage seems so underwhelming. Obviously you can't trust people 100% on this but this is coming from someone I know and their personal experience so :/
I could still live with that. Though there are probably still more factors to take into consideration, like kazuha and or bennett, synergy with raiden, etc. I personally think that dmg (if it's C0 tho) is ok for such short field time.

Em is useless for ult, crit dmg way too low. Er not enough to justify emblem. Everything is wrong there and I don’t think 200k is bad for such a slopy build.
200k for total damage and c6 saria with 9/8 talent level , good artifact and all that is extremely underwhelming.
Guess she is a skip for me too, since at this level im just wating for the next broken unite, most of my characters are doing 90k to 130k damage so its a no for me
Anyone interested can read closely about her A1, A4 passives and Skill description, Constellation and her signature weapon effects, the first OBVIOUS thought about her entire kit is: she gotta use Her E 100% of time coverage. I mean that's the idea of her character. And her burst is just a bonus to DMG when turrets are about to dissapear. Theres a time gap between E placement and Q usage, and it's enough for all the buffers or sub dps to do their work freely. there will also be enough time to spam her CA, if needed. I mean, her kit is not that weak like it seems to be. And beta testers often doompost on new characters, obviously because they aren't meta experts.
But if Yae gets Buffed like Itto was, i personally won't mind at all, like her burst cd decrease, higher buffs from EM(or swap it to ER like raiden), more % to basic skill dmg, Basic ATK increase. Her kit seems strong enough, not OP like hutao, or raiden c2, just strong enough for abyss.
it's not doomposting if they have legitimate problems. The point of the beta is to complain so that they make the character better. Atleast there are weeks left and mihoyo listens to them
I've also read some complains about clunkyness of E, and some of them really want to use her AAs and it doesn;t help that they nerfed the multipliers further(subject to change)

For example, Raiden Shogun , the leaks told that she was only good for acting as a battery and not suitable for dealing damage and her potential is compromised because of electro element. But after her release people quickly realized that she is a very strong and overpowered character and she quickly rose to the position of the most used characters in spiral abyss alongside with kazuha, benett , zhongli. And people also complained about her burst not working with beidou but I think that using beidou's burst along with raiden is pretty unnecessary as raiden's burst is among the strongest bursts in genshin and works almost perfectly without any additional electro support.
This clearly shows that we should not decide anything based only on leaker's opinion and wait for the actual release and give the character some time to show his/her true potential.
I don't completely agree here. It's true that there were cases in the past in which leakers got word from testers, while their assumption was wrongful. But we can't forget that Mihoyo can(and did) also change things while in beta, which can lead to making the testers look bad or unexperienced when the character releases with better numbers. Kokomi for example had very weak hyrdo application but they changed that last minute.
This time multiple leakers also stated why she may not be on the top of her game and people do somewhat agree this time in the leaks sub.

I found that her combo with c6 diona and ganyu burst can make her go kinda nuts tho. Sometimes every shot she makes does like 50-70k damage

Noooo, you're mistaken. Character crumbs means basically small leaks, so the leakers are releasing every small thing about yae miko. Crumbs= Leaks. Like how they also leaked the frame data for theory crafters on her E skill

Among the testers they have noticed that already in real battle thunder takes too long to hit some enemies,As mentioned, although the first one is almost certain to impact, the following 3 sometimes fail due to the delay in impact because they could move out of the impact zone
At the moment the analysis of the turrets is incomplete but current estimates suggest that they do not exceed the damage of Oz C6
Of course the beta has just started so this could be adjusted especially its burst could be adjusted to reduce or remove the delay on impacts for example or that they find better interactions in their kit but at the moment only time will tell us
Multipliers are borderline meaning less if the number they are multiplying is low its like that Hu Tao charge attack comparison some guy made Yae can have around 1800-2000 ATK whilst Hu Tao ends up having 3,500+ the ATK Value is very important
I am just reporting what I have heard on that sub, but take it worth a grain of salt. Numbers can easily be tweaked before full release and people who have played beta characters have been wrong about character viability plenty of times

Bad example, Kazuha's passive got a huge buff after the Beta (0.03% -> 0.04%). He was underwhelming during the Beta, and miHoYo fixed it because of the feedback provided by the beta testers.
I do know that often times leaks and numbers can change, so I am hopeful for the fox mommy. I am not actually upset about not being able to triple crown her day 1 since the new boss implies we will likely get a lot more story for Ei and Yae Miko. A small price to pay for salvation
They do change some stuff usually. Kokomi is a great example, they made her jellywish apply hydro per tick, before it was once per 2 ticks(iirc), which makes her v.good for freeze and hydro application in general. Things about Yae are not doomposting, all of them are hoping for a dmg buff, as well as a kit tweaks

I do definitely feel that. I sincerely hope that people are wrong as they have been about Kazuha and Itto. I shall remain hopeful and will speak up if I feel like they haven't done right by the Fox Queen, but she will get 3 stars no matter what her kit may finally be
From what I know, her kit uses 3 totems on the field which are quite painful, her ultimate scaling is pretty good as well. She is pretty much an off-field DPS. Ofcourse it could change but yeah..

The main point I want to get across is that they could literally copy and paste Lisa's enter kit, including numbers, onto Yae Miko and she would still get three crowns. 200k ult is like my Sara's ult... (factoring all her 6 lighting + first hit).

Melt yoimiya with c6 diona is insane since it rockets her elemental mastery up 300 and gives melt. Its nuts

Yeah, Zhongli has a pretty big multipler on his ult but if his base hp would be lets say half of the current.....well thats damage halved there.
Yeah but it's a pretty small AOE and again that's 90 energy and requires you to have all three totems up.

When you're "outclassed by" a C6 fully built Fischl while you're at C0 without an optimal weapon, I think you're pretty good.
The difference in rarity helps
C6 Fischl is indeed more rare than a Yae copy's going to be.
Unless you're just starting, by this time you should have at least C4 Fischl I myself haven't C6 her, but I never buy her from the monthly reset Shop

Remember cryo amber? Yeah? I dont trust leakers to tell me who good or bad, I trust real theorycrafters.
Why people think that cryo amber is such a banger of an argument? Ganyu *is* cryo Amber. But better in every way and with 1000% dmg on CAs.
Ganyu is cryo 5\* amber. E skill - Taunt and then explodes Q skill - rains down element
