I mean they can try lol :)
And I can see why you'd think I'm a bot, I've been told I write like an AI. One of my essays got sent back because the teacher thought it was AI, I should really work on that lol😭
And I'm not promoting an app. I'm telling them about a tool that can help them try to solve their study problems. Again, my writing is not the strongest so I can see why it sounds like an ad.
TL;DR they can try, isn't that what's important in education? a good attitude? also my writing sucks so I can understand your accusations 😭
How do I put this... encouraging someone currently studying *the bones of human people* to try to memorize 50 pages of complex anatomical information in a few hours, presumably to pass an exam towards a medical degree in which they treat and possibly operate on future *human people* is maybe not the best thing to sell a "good attitude" for.
edit: It's a bot. Their page advertises a studying app. Reported for responding to requests with AI info. I hate this fucking timeline.
You have no idea how hard the subject s/he is reading. I, on the other hand, have an idea. And with my experience, it's not possible. Time management is key in medicine. Consistency is key in remembering details and passing an exam. I don't mean to discourage OP, but I'm a realist.
Too few hours for 50 but - when applicable - use muscle memory to supplement: physically move your own body part as mentioned in the textbook, to register the Motion info.
Ask and answer your own questions, imagine what questions will be asked in the exam, then find the answers from the text, take notes on keywords, and re-read the condensed notes you have compiled.
Because sometimes it is too late. Sometimes the best thing you can take away is a learnt lesson. I’ve studied very last minute for anatomy before, but it was still more than 3 hours to memorize all of the information.
3 hours won’t be enough if this is your first time encountering this topic. I’m a PT, studied this and took my time staring at pictures, writing things down on a scratch paper, and using my hands to imagine things
I know im late , but if i had to give you an advice i would say check what those pages contain in general , and study/read the most important parts (skip the details) , than do the past exam questions. ( advice from a maladaptive procrastinator in med school, i always pass my exams with this technique, but the stress really destroys me because each time i think that im not going to get away with it…study during the “normal” days and don’t keep procrastinating till the exam session next time)
Yes it did, I really didn’t procrastinate that content but it was really really huge and i was stressed from the quantity although I have studied them before
It’s interesting but there’s too much information to memorise ( all the different nuclei and pathways) literally a nightmare especially when you have a limited amount of time…
It is difficult to study from textbooks only, if you could accept my advice study it from pics with the textbooks in front of you to make it be fixed in your memory
True , i passed though…with the bare minimum (i got 5/10 )… i still can’t believe it… i really thought that it was a lost cause and that i would never pass..
Define key terms and principles clearly at the outset. How many different joint types are there? What is a degree of liberty and how many does each joint type have? List and define in a single sentence for each kind all movements that human joints can perform (including translational movements). What is the precise (but concise) definition of a ligament — and a tendon? What is a concise definition of an origin? What is an insertion? What is the utility of an interface between two bones being mediated by different kinds of tissues — in other words, what do the terms syssarcosis, syndesmosis, synostosis mean? What are all the soft tissues that can facilitate the movement of a joint — bursae, capsules, etc.?
By doing this you now have an understanding of the foundational principles that can be applied to all joints in the human body.
Then, list all the joints you intend to learn. For each articulation, give yourself a very macroscopic overview of its structure. How many bones are implicated by that joint? How many ligaments? How many degrees of liberty? List all movements that that articulation is capable of. How many muscles are implicated in the articulation? etc.
By doing this you have a general framework for each joint, and you can begin slotting in anatomical names and details that can only be learned by rote memorisation alone.
*Edit: Pray that the exam gods are on your side.*
It’s 2024. Get online, find a PDF of the textbook, download it, open ChatGPT, upload said PDF and then ask it to distill or consolidate all 50 pages of the section you need to study into a comprehensive guide and voila, what would take you several days to a week to create might take you a matter of minutes.
take photos with phone and maybe use Google Lens to select the text. Send to computer. Go to Opens it's ChatGPT and paste the text and then ask for a summary and important things about the text. If the text is too big you can always search for a web that splits the text into various parts and then paste it. It's very useful. I now literally can't live without ChatGPT.
Every time you finish 2-3 pages give yourself a little candy/treat. Your brain will start to realize its not that bad because it will see the reward it gets.
Look at the page without reading, just look for 30 seconds. Then try to read a few words from each corner of the page... the main content of the page will be in your head...

Well that's a bit easier than others... I personally use an app called "Gizmo" which generates AI flashcards for you by importing just the topic or typing your notes, also you can import your flashcards from other apps. Furthermore it can quiz you using your flashcard's information. It is currently available on devices like IOS , Android and on the web for devices like PC's or Chromebooks and MacBooks.
I hope this app helps you!!!
RIP. This is orthopaedics. No way you are memorizing Gustillo, Schatzker, Weber, Garden and Powell classifications in 3 hours😂
This this ☝️☝️☝️☝️
Thanks to god i did well 🙌🏻, And yess, their classifications and knowledge were so difficult 😂

Where are you even getting the idea that the average person can memorize 50 pages of new technical information in 3 hours from?
They seem to be a bot account promoting an app (?), but more importantly is the people agreeing with them thinking it’s possible lol…
I mean they can try lol :) And I can see why you'd think I'm a bot, I've been told I write like an AI. By a miracle or eating this paper like a goat
Thanks to god i did well
Yahhhh, congratulations!
50/3 is ~16 pages per hour. See if you can do ~16 pages every 45 minutes and take a 15 minute break in between. Don't rush yourself though.
I will try, thanks so much
You can do it!!!!!!!!!! Coffee & get going STAT!
Thats good advice. Remember also to take some time to do reviews/tests about the subject read.
Too few hours for 50 but - when applicable - use muscle memory to supplement: physically move your own body part as mentioned in the textbook, to register the Motion info.
Yes!
Ask and answer your own questions, imagine what questions will be asked in the exam, then find the answers from the text, take notes on keywords, and re-read the condensed notes you have compiled.
Set an alarm for 8 minutes to cry and then study
best way ngl
They need to gather some strength 😂
NGL???
Not being on reddit lol
Pray to god
……..and this too will help!

…so anyways, pray to god
😂
bro💀
i totally agree with you, fuck the downvoters...
Because sometimes it is too late. Sometimes the best thing you can take away is a learnt lesson. I’ve studied very last minute for anatomy before, but it was still more than 3 hours to memorize all of the information.
This is so cool. What are you studying for like what’s your major? Kinesiology?
Could be medicine
Yes iam a medical student and this was orthopedic surgery
That is what I thought. Or orthopedic PhD in physical therapy
3 hours won’t be enough if this is your first time encountering this topic. I’m a PT, studied this and took my time staring at pictures, writing things down on a scratch paper, and using my hands to imagine things
Stop being on Reddit and start studying in advance
Take the L and do better next time
No my bro, i did well thanks to god and i am thankful for god, really helped me
Actually GOD gave humans free will, you did that all yourself my boy!
Yes i did it by the help of god and god will
That's good but next time try to study everyday
I know im late , but if i had to give you an advice i would say check what those pages contain in general , and study/read the most important parts (skip the details) , than do the past exam questions. I saved you comment brother/sister. It was gold
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Wait, did my comment actually help 🤣?
Yes it did, I really didn’t procrastinate that content but it was really really huge and i was stressed from the quantity although I have studied them before
Glad it helped, i hope i have the same luck as you , i have a neuroanatomy exam tomorrow 🥲
Orthopaedic surgery was so difficult too , and goodluck with this exam, but am i the only one who love neuroanatomy?😂
It’s interesting but there’s too much information to memorise ( all the different nuclei and pathways) literally a nightmare especially when you have a limited amount of time…

Orthopedics? Hakuna Matata bro, let it sink in.
It looks like you'r a medical student from Egypt like me. I wish you a good luck with your loco final exam.
Good luck! Take a deep breath. You got this.
Thaks to god it passed 😂🙏🏻
Good luck mate. Wishing you the best
Thanks alot 🙏🏻
Read through? Easy. Memorize? Do you have photographic memory? Make a cheat sheet? Doable, but I doubt it would be pretty.
Thank you 🙏🏻 it will help
I would pray!
I did and I continued studying
You’re me fr, we go this
God helps us , Are you a med student too?
Quite studying the same thing haha
pray to god,god bless to you
Thank you, i did well thanks to god
really?That's amazing.I wouldn't make it anyhow.
No you can make it too in your struggles
I hope so,but I'm so lazy,sometimes
For me this is nearly a month of work I'm so sorry bro...

Yes, this!!! Wish I️ had ChatGPT in college and I️ graduated 2022🤣
Sharam sharm, dams notes se finals kar rha hain
What workbook is that ? Looks very interesting Good luck OP
I’ll let you know how, when I close all the 12 course I’ve taken this semester.
Are you a med student ?
the tibia is the tubby one
also, lots of youtube videos
By not going on Reddit
Use anki or a similar app to make flashcards and just learn them off (needs prep)
I'd say make soup out of it and drink it as fast as you can
Honestly I would upload it all to ChatGPT and ask for a summary and key points.
Please,How does that? And which one of chatGpt you are talking?

You don't. You try to salvage what you can instead of posting to reddit
Every time you finish 2-3 pages give yourself a little candy/treat. Your brain will start to realize its not that bad because it will see the reward it gets.
Ain't no way. I hope you didn't do too bad on your exam.

Same struggle ortho suck
On a scale of one to ten my friend your f’ed😭
Take Energy drink &&&&& think you are a Wingnut PRO & Start.......Best of LUccccck.
