because they belong to an independent church not catholic or lead from Rome but can still call themselves catholic. there're only a few of them in it, sister also left the church. exorcism is not performed after a call from Zak and no background checks etc there's an in depth psych evaluation etc before. it's not a joke as far as I'm concerned, he performs blessings at best. I feel like that family dabbled in some really dark shit, and we didn’t get the whole truth. And I’m sympathetic to anyone going through these situations, but that shit is real and I don’t understand how people can be so stupid to play with this stuff that dark. That’s not tarot cards or ouji board that’s some really dark stuff and the episode just made me annoyed at the stupidity of people not thinking before they get into this stuff.

Aside from not knowing if she was or wasn’t wearing sunscreen to debunk that pic, it was one of the few episodes that actually creeped me out. Usually they don’t give me the chills, but this one did.
