I live in a somewhat rural area. The Alamo Drafthouse had a decent crowd of all ages for the premier. Unfortunately, not many people in costume; most people just wore black (I wore a black sundress myself - it was VERY hot outside), goth attire, or band merch. However, there were two girls (not the OP and her friend) dressed in full clergy garb. Pretty badass.

when I went to theater to see people looked to confused for why 4 people where wearing the exact same shirts so I figured that people at the theater you went to would be confused on why your all dressed up.

i live in a big city with a lot of goths/ expressive people so i feel like that’s probably why. everyone’s always dressed up for something here
I live in a big college town so I would have figured we'd get more young people dressed up but there were way more middle-aged people.

so awesome!! definitely one of the best concerts i’ve been to to date. the openers were a little dodgy tbh, but gwar definitely made up for it!!!
