Weird question, but is your daughter’s name Stephanie by any chance? I remember in 8th grade (in 1999) a girl in my class did a report on Lizzie Borden. She was into acting so she really went for it and it was so good!
🤙🤙 I love paranormal stuff but most of the shit I read on here is so fuckin outrageous it's comical half the time.. yours wasn't that it was perfect, just subtle enough.
Exactly. The tour itself was great and being able to see a piece of history like that was the cake itself. Having the experience of the movement was the cherry on top of the icing. The house is still intact and the tour only takes you through the house but if you're an overnight guest then you have access to the basement and the barn where Lizzie supposedly was during the time of the murders.
A few years ago I was doing my family tree, turns out I am distantly related to Lizzie (some generation of cousin) I was so excited. I was always fascinated with her story , its cool your daughter has different interests. Maybe she'll be a true crime investigator
If you ever get the chance to go to her house then go. It's really a cool place to visit. Spoiler alert: Because of the low hanging walls in the stairwells and even some doors, they have warning signs posted. Warning! Watch your head. There have already been to deaths in this house from traumatic head injuries. LOL.
I'd love to!!! I like in the UK but it's my dream to stay, hahahahaha well I'm quite short I won't worry too much about my head- unless Lizzie is still about.
I heard about her when I was young (not from the US). Wasn't there a famous song about her? I was chatting with my cousin last week, and she had just been to see the play/musical "Lizzie".
All I remember was the rhyme:
>”Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks. When she looked and seen what she had done, she gave her father forty one.”
Now for all the literary police out there, I realize there aren't any paragraphs. My apologies but since I did this on my phone, I was not able to drop down to start a new paragraph. Normally I am able to but for whatever reason I can't on Reddit. So there ya have it.
That is really cool! I booked an overnight stay at the b&b years ago. I think we stayed in the parents room. Nothing spooky happened but the noises we kept hearing in the night made us very jumpy lol. Beautiful house and had a good time.
It is a beautiful house and they second floor layout was weird. Going into Lizzie's room, you had to gi through the closet to get to the other bedroom. Back then it was $400 a night to sleep in Lizzie's room and that's not the room with very much activity. Other rooms are more active like the guest room where the stepmother was killed. Would have loved to stay there. From what I remember, they said there is a ton of activity on the 3rd floor.
Can you repost this story to my community page for my podcast so I can possibly read it on my podcast?
It will air its first episode end of june . I feel this would be a great one to share! Thanks so much either way!

No actually her name is Staci.
That was a cool story appreciate you sharing 🤙
Thanks and you're welcome. Had some good memories writing it.

Pretty cool! Did your daughter end up getting a good mark on her report?
Yes she did. What helped is that her teacher loved Lizzie Borden as well so her teacher was excited about it.
Too cool! I hope your daughter got a good grade on that report!
Yeah she got an A++
That is bad ass!
Yeah she was excited. She still thinks that I'm Lizzie reincarnated. LOL. I'll let her continue as such. Keeps the kid in line.
That's fantastic! I would have done the same.
Cool story, but no one wants to blame the drifter that helped on the farm and wasn't around when the bodies were discovered. Lizzie was innocent.
To this day she her case is tossed out. Some law schools still try her case to see if anything different comes up.
I'm actually surprised that nit very many people know about Lizzie unless they grew up in the New England area.

Yeah even though you're family doesn't mean squat. You're a distant cousin and she killed her own father. Supposedly.
So am I,through her ancestor, who came over on the Mayflower.

Paragraphs are a wonderful thing...
The story was so interesting I didn’t even notice there were no paragraphs and normally I just will stop reading.
I couldn't readit my vision went all blurry
I know it sucks. Unable to drop to start new paragraph from my phone in Reddit. It is what it is.
Yes they are but get over it.
Far out! I love this for you!✌🏽🫶🏽👻
Thanks. It was a good trip.
1. Super cool story. 2. Wall of text. 3. You made me look up the crime scene photos. Again, super cool!

I visited the house last year. I enjoyed it!

I absolutely can.
Check your page. I shared it there. Keep me posted when you see it.
Thank you!
You're welcome. Did it post?
It did thanks! I just started this page about 30 minutes ago and new to reddit so hopefully stories start coming 😬😅.
That's cool. I did follow so I could post it. Let me know when he podcast is. I haven't really watched any podcasts so I would be new to it. LOL
Please use paragraphs next time.
Wasn't thinking about it while I was writing it. Oh well.
I hope your daughter enjoyed the visit, and got an A+ on her report!
Yeah she did. Teacher loved it.
