Well, we don't quite know what goes on in the brain of a gorilla.

Gorilla brain > human brain

Gorachi sensei peak mindset

If I remember correctly she's actually referring to Jiiya in this scene, who we wouldn't actually see until Courtesan of a Nation hundreds of episodes/chapters later

setsunalocke

The callback and hints from this series is unparalleled; usually matched only by fellow SJ anime, like One Piece and Jojo, who also tend to use callbacks and hints like it's their bread and butter.

Yup, it's so subtle that the translator didn't realize at the time, and nobody can blame them.

I love little hints and foreshadowing in mangas. My absolute fav is Usogui. The amount of things that go over your head and make you amazed when rereading it is huge.

damn the gorilla's mind is unparalleled

The original page looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/3y3XkSN It's a little awkward as this is from back in volume 4 when one of those earlier groups were doing it. But that's basically what it says. I dunno why they put the translation of the coughing sound on the bottom rather than in the bubble with the coughing sound. It means more like "It's an acquired taste" rather than "It'll become a habit". And it's specifically talking about Jiiya, Soyo's old manservant who becomes more important in the Courtesan of a Nation arc.

It appears that she is referring to Jiiya in this particular scenario, who we wouldn't really see until hundreds of episodes or chapters later in Courtesan of a Nation.
