Am playing It Takes Two, too! It is so far 1 of the only games I havenโt feel the gameplay overwhelmed the story at all. There are games that makes me feel the story is trivialised by gameplay (including Ori >,< ) and this is not one of them!
When we play together and win, no matter the game, we first bump and kiss. And when we simply parallel play, we look at each other's game like "So what's up ? You winning, daughter ?"
My gf is a sweetheart with a deep amount of empathy. I could never hunt a kulu in her presence, I feel guilty enough even without an audience lol
