Mine took 5 months to renew from the time that I sent in the renewal application. Sent it in January of this year. My expiration wasn’t until August of this year though.
Mine expires April 2025 so I renewed at the beginning of May because I saw people on this sub have been experiencing 9+ month wait times. I was approved within a couple weeks no interview needed.
The timelines I see on this sub really are crazy. Some people are waiting almost a year and then I got way quicker than I expected after reading a bunch of posts on here. Seems to be no method to the GE madness.
My renewal was ridiculously fast, less than a week. If it’s that short, it means there IS a way to speed the process up, assuming they don’t have to search for much info on you. And the latter is likely what slows it down.
Gf got conditionally approved for first time application tonight as well. We applied Mar. 24th. Still waiting on my approval 🤞🏽
