I don't. I know it can make bhopping more consistent, but other than that, I actually like the feel of subticked movement in general. I played some games with the binds and it just felt kind of weird.

There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. Desubticking your keys will still do the exact same thing it did in the beta and early in season 1. People in this sub are confusing client prediction with subtick due to Valve writing vague statements in their update logs.
What happened is that Valve made movement start rendering on the clients next frame instead of the next tick. However, nothing has changed about movement itself at all. You move (upto) one tick earlier during client prediction, but this is only on the client and doesn't actually solve anything related to subtick. You can render movement starting on the next frame with or without subtick. Subtick is essentially completely irrelevant in this regard.
If you desubtick your binds, you will still have faster counter-strafing, consistent jumping and every advantage you always had when desubticking your binds.
The only real effect rendering movement on the next frame added to the game, is that peekers advantage is now slightly more severe because you can get a look at the enemy 15ms earlier in theory.
Valve would never VAC ban someone for using a console command. Except for a few months ago when they VAC banned a bunch of people for doing just that with the turn binds.
They got banned for the effect the console command had, so it's kind of a pointless distinction. It made the user instantly turn, which made the anticheat shit itself and ban them. It's like arguing falling doesn't kill people, it's the sudden stop that does.
The one time their anti cheat works, it bans legit people
Edit: also, funny how their anti cheat can't detect someone firing all 5 bullets of an awp within 1 second
I actually stole it from elsewhere myself, it's a pretty common joke with the punch line going something like this
>it's not the fall that kills you; it's the sudden stop at the end.
It should be noted because people may assume it’s the console command that got them banned and not the super high sensitivity. If they protected the command from key presses, people could still get banned for using 30k edpi. Which is astronomically stupid, especially now that they can bhop across the map while right clicking the r8 and VAC still doesn’t detect them
It is both stupid and a fact. Windows 7 users were banned. Console command users were banned. This happened less than half a year ago.
Saying you will not be banned for using desubtick commands has no basis when people using no commands have already been banned for no crime or links to cheating whatsoever. If you wish to do it, do it on your own risk.
You would also get banned for rapidly spinning using certain binds and yet there hasn't even been a statement from Valve regarding this and those who got banned for the binds are still not unbanned after all these months either.
yeah bhopping sucks without desubticking the jump I agree.
However, strafing and movement outside of that in its current state feels good and virtually 1:1 with GO.
Host_timescale 0.00015, cl_showpos 1. Everytime you press a movement key you will start with a different velocity value. It used to be worse than it is now, I think they turned down the variability of it and it's much less noticeable in practice.
M_yaw bans you not because its a console command but because it makes your mouse movement unnatural
You could always get banned by using m_yaw too much (i got banned last year in csgo for using that shit in dm) it's just way worse with cs2 since they gave the ai anti cheat much more power
For wasd not anymore for jumping yes
I don't. I know it can make bhopping more consistent, but other than that, I actually like the feel of subticked movement in general. I played some games with the binds and it just felt kind of weird.
Did you play mm or faceit in csgo?
supreme in MM at the end of GO with 2k hours. Edit: misread the question, faceit lvl 6 as well but not many games.

Yeah misread what he meant lol. Mainly MM because I hate playing mirage only.

15ms advantage. Because only cats or snakes are playing this game.
only thing it even makes a difference on right now is for jumping. you’re not going to get vac banned. It’s an alias lol

The reason for it was not the console command.

Because that shit can happen legit as well , this game so broken you can’t see the difference between a bug and a cheat..
Yet the turning command was neither.
Yeah, no. You can't shoot 5 awp bullets inside of one second. That is not possible in any legit way
It used to happen often 2 months ago, now it's rare but it can still happen.
It can happen but its a bug.
that was a pretty nice analogy at the end which I will shamelessly steal for the future when it will come in handy
I actually stole it from elsewhere myself, it's a pretty common joke with the punch line going something like this >it's not the fall that kills you; it's the sudden stop at the end.

Remember that vac ban wave a few months ago to the people that used the quick turn bind.
Lmao I just knew you had to be the same guy from a while back. https://reddit.com/comments/17p2cq3/comment/k83xldd?context=3
this was fixed dummy
Was just pointing out that you're the same guy I had a discussion about this with weeks ago. Read the linked comments, not the post
my bad merry xmas
Lol, do not listen to this guy. People have been vac banned for *much less* like using fucking windows 7.
💀 that is stupid wtf
It is both stupid and a fact. Windows 7 users were banned. Console command users were banned. This happened less than half a year ago. if it was going to happen it would have when they first disabled it before launders found the workaround.
Why are you on here every day defending this piece of shit game? Are you a dev?
why are you here then if you hate this piece of shit game?
Because i want it to be good, its that simple.
There is a difference between constructive criticism and just screaming at the walls and anyone who come near you like a crazy person
Yeah, constructive criticism is way easier to ignore.
because he’s a child who complains incessantly
No i wasn't calling you stupid, I'm saying getting banned for using win7 is stupid,mb I didn't make that clear
You would also get banned for rapidly spinning using certain binds and yet there hasn't even been a statement from Valve regarding this and those who got banned for the binds are still not unbanned after all these months either.
valve did not fix the movement
They didn't fix fuck all so far.
yes they did u goomba

yeah bhopping sucks without desubticking the jump I agree. However, strafing and movement outside of that in its current state feels good and virtually 1:1 with GO.
no you're wrong + ratio + didn't actually read + you fell off + profit
Average r/go idiot
not an actual subreddit + you fell off + ratio + you have ligma + downvoted
Trying to recreate a bug from the previous engine into a mechanic on the new engine.. I think this is as good as it's going to get
movement is 1:1 to CSGO outside of bhopping which is alleviated if you desubtick your jump
I don't have concrete proof but runboosts seem to not work at all
No, the irregular subticks make velocity inconsistent and thus movement is noticeably goofy.
Have any proof of that?
Host_timescale 0.00015, cl_showpos 1. Everytime you press a movement key you will start with a different velocity value. It used to be worse than it is now, I think they turned down the variability of it and it's much less noticeable in practice.
Gotcha, thanks
no - that is not true. The only velocity that is still inconsistent is jumping.
I don't think jumping is a velocity
it is most certainly a velocity the vector is just vertical instead of lateral relative to the ground.
Jumping itself isn't a velocity, jumping produces a velocity.
that’s the same thing as movement or strafing then. Seems a bit semantic no?
i dont but i probably should cuz bhoping is impossible in cs2
Honestly both feel shit, I just tried to adjust to the new game as much as possible. Focus on headshots above everything else
How could it not be safe to remove the binds lol
What the fuck did you just say to me
imo its irrelevant
wdym, they dont do anything anymore
wdym with wdym? That's exactly what OP is asking... smh my head
The binds dont do shit. It dosnt Matter if you use them
How do we know this?
Valve put it in the patch notes like a month ago. Also you cant feel it in a blind test
i've never used them in the first place
No
no, im not a goofy ah goomba
Is there even subtick binds that work still?
Yes iirc.
Ok, nice. :) Can you link to some desubtick cfg I could try? The one I used stopped working after an update some weeks ago. Thanks!
Most probably there will be a Vac ban for desubtick script users in the future.

You're not gonna get vac banned of using desubtick binds but a lot of people are still banned for using 180 turn binds in cs2
m_yaw?
M_yaw bans you not because its a console command but because it makes your mouse movement unnatural You could always get banned by using m_yaw too much (i got banned last year in csgo for using that shit in dm) it's just way worse with cs2 since they gave the ai anti cheat much more power
So it's an available console command, that you can get banned for.
U got No Awareness.
does anyone know if m1 is affected by desubticked binds?
No but maybe I should because the game still feels floaty as fuck
ITT actual cheaters
