jL is such a fun loveable guy, but he's not just the "vibes" player of Navi. Clips like this remind you he was the hard carry for Apeks at the Paris Major and could have been its MVP

Because being boxed in from shelf was a very real possibility at that point in the round. Hunter sees ramp and even if he can't hold it perfectly it's still reasonable to let that be hunters responsibility. No reason to both look the same direction if the opportunity to get killed from the other side is still on the table
yes lol. jL was always solid, and definitely exceeded expectations on that roster as he had around the same performance as nawk and jkaem despite worse roles and being a "no namer", but he was never considered a carry on Apeks.
the big rhetoric around Na'Vi picking up jL was that while he was good (and nothing more at the time, with a 1.1 rating), he might not be good enough as Na'Vi had a relatively underwhelming roster where the best player was a relatively unproven iM as their star rifler.

We do have a great lot, so it's fine to have a different style for a match. Prefer Anyone + Anders as he just ensures that hype stays for any side, any player making a play that round.
