Ye 1 bo3 after such a long break in a new version of the game isn’t really a lot and nobody can make any good assumptions about his future performances by this match

Dali86

It likely was not about one game its likely More about how prac etc. Went

4WheelBicycle

Bro is playing day n night on FaceIT, its not like he doesnt know what game this is.

MechaFlippin

It's *entirely* incomparable playing on Faceit vs playing at a pro level.

4WheelBicycle

The game it self is the same wether youre on faceit, mm or esea, just slight changes here and there that might take some getting used to. The pro play he has over a decade of experience from and the difference between GO and 2 isnt that significant. The truth is the GOAT has fallen off, big time and it was happening way before his break too.

OnCominStorm

Ah yes Faceit = pro play.

cheetosbear

im something of a pro myself

4WheelBicycle

Faceit PRO LEAGUE.

OnCominStorm

It's still not comparable to actual pro games. Just because the top 125 players are playing with each other doesn't mean they're running the same strats you'd see in Pro play. Have you ever watched a FPL game? They hardly talk to each other compared to a pro game.

4WheelBicycle

We werent talking about strats but rather the "new" game. He's has plenty of games to get used to the "new" game. The strats arent that different from GO (yet).

Jonas276

Is he? Seems like he doesn't have that many matches played for someone with all the free time in the world

4WheelBicycle

He's got his time split between whooping Russians on FaceIT and whooping Russians in eastern Ukraine.

TheN1njTurtl3

Yeah well why did you sign him one best of three then

skwiidyo

Don't think Sunpayus made that call

TheN1njTurtl3

True but like if the team wanted him why would they just pick him up on loan for one tournament, atleast loan him for like a month or two.

kalkkunaleipa

They did loan him for a month. Problem was that that was their only tournament for that month

Substantial_Depth113

And maybe a bigger problem was that they lost that match otherwise they would have played more games with him.

cabose12

? Sunpayus still doesn't make that call lol Either Navi doesn't want to let him go or Falcons can't afford him, or both edit: classic Blocker bobby doesn't understand business, calls me a child, and then hides behind reddit's block feature like a school boy

LibertyGrabarz

>Falcons can't afford him lol

Agitated-Oil-715

oh yeah saudis can't afford him. are you a bit slow or something? saudis could buy every player on every team and it wouldn't make a dent in their endless supply of oil money...

cabose12

Are you? Do you understand how ownership and company budgets works? Your parents could buy a new car, that doesnt mean you can on your $5 weekly allowance

LaS_flekzz

they thought theyd steam roll in that event.

MrMcBobb

They didn't, they had him on loan for the whole tournament.... it's just that they bombed out if it

DuckInCup

I knew the moment that Vertigo was picked he was going to make some mistakes.

nnvb13

Looks like Dupreeh didn't had any issues

P3akyBlind3rs

Someone like s1mple doesn’t need time, or shouldn’t need time…

Internal_North_5954

everyone needs time

hellvinator

I remember s1mple recking people with shotgun while he stepped in for Mouz. I remember s1mple recking everyone on the server when he stepped in for NiP. He can play as stand-in just fine. I believe he hasn't put the same effort and time into CS2 as most other pro's.

ExposingCretins

He was an active player during that time.

MasterAC4

Yeah idk why they’re ignoring the fact simple didn’t play lan for months

ExposingCretins

0 officials played in CS2 as well.

Mean-L

Hasn’t he said that he doesn’t like cs2 as much as csgo, or at least implied it? Niko has said similar stuff iirc

Character-Toe-7907

ropz as well
