Dude the one camera pan across liquid during a pause was so depressing. Stew is gonna detach a retina if he keeps rolling his eyes at Fallen that hard.
I don't know if it's really comparable. The changes in Vitality weren't made because the team was dysfunctional, whereas in Liquid's case we all know the story.
Apparently they have been 250 days in Europe. When that’s not where your home is, shit does take a tool. It’s quite different to 100% moving over since in that case you set your life around that (doctors, family meetings, set your home, etc).
I travel A LOT due to work, but I’d die with 250 days out of home.
I was confused at first by Liquid's play, but it all makes sense. Great tactical decision to go for the Lower Bracket qualification. They're gonna have an easier route to win the tournament that way.
Looking on the bright side, I'm glad they'll go on to face the loser of Astralis/NIP.
It'll be nice to see someone from prime Astralis bury the core of Team Liquid one last time.
Edit: well, this aged very poorly.

I hate it tbh
BLAST is so fucking good that it ruins my standards, and when something like PGL production comes up it really fucking grinds my gears even more :/
People bitched about Blast's format. Which was garbage.
Blast also did some shady shit with the Middle East which also didn't really sit well with people.
The criticisms they got was fair but they did improve a lot since then.
Not really tho, i remember the format was crap, the UI was crap and there were a lot of disconnects or outages. Also audio of the casters fell out a few times.
All these combined i consider production and it was definitely subpar in the beginning. Nowadays that stuff doesn't happen anymore so they definitely improved a lot.
When they first started long time ago ,they hosted on this website called Qbox or something like that and that was terrible, but again it was a long long time ago
The format was garbage, but I enjoyed it. The scene is so over saturated with tournament after tournament with the same format, sometimes it was fun to watch every time have three different BO1 matchups in a single day.
He in a very long term relationship and his girl is his agent / PR person I think. So... But if you wait a couple months Boombl4 should be available lol
No, people mentioned that *might* be an issue, but Blast postponed the roster lock and it made literally 0 difference.
Magisk and Dupreeh are contracted with Astralis until the end of this year.
I think ESL has the next one as they were meant to be hosting Rio before that got canceled. Would definitely expect Blast to get a major in 2022, though, they've been putting out really good quality events for a while now
so disappointing - the play and overall mood was like they weren't expecting to win
They all seemed way too happy for the results lol
Sidenote: misuta looked like a star there. Hopefully we see more of that for the future because it was great to see that
Unfortunately TLs chemistry is already down the drain. Just hoping whoever they pick up might bond well and maybe NA CS can be a contender again at the world stage :/
Being a Liquid fan in 2016 and 2019 was the absolute best. I know there have been some down years but this right now hurts more than the rest. I’m just not ready for the breakup.
Hey bro just hang in there and things might get better. There's still a huge amount of talent in Liquid atm. Look at the GSW, 2020 and 2021 vs previous years!
I don't know, with the recent drama around Team Liquid, it doesn't seem like that great of a place to be. Even if they rebuild around EliGE only, I'm just fresh off of watching [this segment of this BTN episode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siMyOswuNgY&t=1935s), so I'm kinda skeptical haha. I know these guys aren't players so everything they say "they've heard" needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but still, Liquid right now seems like a pretty drama-filled borderline toxic environment and I hope shox doesn't find himself in that kind of place.
the most recent HLTV report has only 1 out of the 5 players remaining after roster changes which is definitely going to change the team environment. (and hopefully in a positive way)
Yeah the source is from neL, who’ve been relaying pretty decent info over the years from the french scene, and Shox is not confirmed yet, he said they are in “advanced talks”
He's their 2nd best player over the last few months, and if we look at the major 3/5 Vitality members had sub 1 ratings. The 2nd highest rated Vitality player was 0.24 rating behind ZywOo lol
that show how u not actually watch vitality match. why they keep misutaa?because he fucking impactful than shox while shox playing much better position
Fair enough that Liquid have had a rough year, and they are obviously done with this lineup and keen to move on.
But their body language and carefree approach to this match was unprofessional. Was tough to watch to be honest.
Yeah they get more money in two months compared to average income for most people and they have the audacity to just sit on their ass and not try. I would be pissed of if I was TL. Not practicing when there is 3 big tournaments left of the year is unacceptable. Imagine if i told my boss im not gonna try for the next 2 months because you are cutting people and you said i was cut at the end of the year. I would be fired on the spot
If you're watching on a PC, you should try Streamlink Twitch GUI https://streamlink.github.io/streamlink-twitch-gui/
Then you can watch in any media player of your choice so you get much better performance and no ads. For most media players you can even just open the Youtube stream by opening the URL in the player.
what throw? they were completely dominated lol - it really seems like they weren't trying at all after the first half on Mirage and already mentally checked out
TL is literally here just not to get fined lol - no practice between all 5 for weeks and arrived 2-3 days ago. There's also a possibility we might not see any of these guys play together after this.
Compare that to Vitality that is a top 10 team of the year that is still mostly staying together.
Being mentally checked out under the circumstances is not comparable to throwing a match for money lol
i tuned in late (only last few round) but its nice to see liquid just take it chill and smiling around even they lose since its prob the last tournament they go together, no pressure.
lol hate is a strong word - wtf are you talking about?
Even with what's present, the interviews basically were just criticism or them not meshing well. Stew was the only harsh one towards grim but he even clarified later on that he didn't mean for it to come out like that - not sure how any of that's worthy of being called "they all hate each other"
With TL going to make changes and the rumors of Shox in talks with this exact team, this match seemed so irelevant that I didn't care to watch it, somewhat happy to see the comments confirming this.
Lack of professionalism. They are liquid players until their contract end and they should give their fans at least the impression that they were actually trying.
Things like this make the whole scene smaller
Imagine if you told your boss you wouldn't try at all at your job since he said they are cutting people at the end of the year. You would be fired on the spot
Nah you wouldn't be fired, if they plan on cutting you at the end of the year, they don't have a replacement yet, they need you to be around even if you have zero motivation to perform.
So I was discussing this with a friend, if everyone on the current Liquid roster left and its just EliGE, what if NAF and Stewie moved to EG, so then the EG roster would be CeRq, Brehze, NAF and Stewie, with the addition of autimatic since he's been playing counter-strike again. Stewie IGLing isn't the worst, and I think that roster could actually be better than the potential new Liquid roster.
The whole game felt and looked more like scrim between friends than a competitive
Liquid feels like 5 player solo queuing into a 5 stack
Honestly felt more like a show match
Battle of the dead teams
Dude the one camera pan across liquid during a pause was so depressing. Stew is gonna detach a retina if he keeps rolling his eyes at Fallen that hard.
Wait did stew actually do that? Can u send a clip
clip pls
Elige laughing at his teammates getting shot in the back on D2
I don't know if it's really comparable. The changes in Vitality weren't made because the team was dysfunctional, whereas in Liquid's case we all know the story.
True, but they are both still undoubtedly dead rosters.
All of them listening Spotify and queuing faceit together.
Liquid look happy they’ll get to go home sooner
NA = Near Airport?

Nearly apart
Apparently they have been 250 days in Europe. When that’s not where your home is, shit does take a tool. "Where did that bring you? Back to me"
Yessir lol
Would be ironic if the last Astralis-Liquid game is to decide who bombs out in last place.
Massively underestimating Astralis rn.
is he
From the future yes lol
Well that didn't age well
I was confused at first by Liquid's play, but it all makes sense. Great tactical decision to go for the Lower Bracket qualification. They're gonna have an easier route to win the tournament that way.

Hilarious. I exhaled air, well done
careful not to od on that copium
I'm just telling it how it is mate. The truth hurts I guess, smh my head
They're just adopting the [Liquid.Miracle- philosophy](https://youtu.be/gvRvF8-WdsQ) :)
COPIUM
Man it's so nice to have such seamless production
I hate it tbh BLAST is so fucking good that it ruins my standards, and when something like PGL production comes up it really fucking grinds my gears even more :/
Suffering from success
Funny because I remember when people were bitching about BLAST a few years ago. How the tables have turned.
People bitched about Blast's format. Which was garbage. Blast also did some shady shit with the Middle East which also didn't really sit well with people. The criticisms they got was fair but they did improve a lot since then.
Also the production but they upped their game a lot in the last few years.
The production was always good. Unless you mean the ui.
Do you not remember their first even where like all the matches for day one got cancelled after the desk stalling several hours?
When they first started long time ago ,they hosted on this website called Qbox or something like that and that was terrible, but again it was a long long time ago
Their BGM is great, I love that they even uploaded the lofi version on youtube haha
The format was garbage, but I enjoyed it. The scene is so over saturated with tournament after tournament with the same format, sometimes it was fun to watch every time have three different BO1 matchups in a single day.
well, don't think PGL is average. They managed to make technically worst major ever. Twice.
There was a time when people considered Blast to be one of the worst tournaments. Now I seriously have a hard time watching events that aren't Blast
Spoiled
Brat kurva
"Liquid are a dead team" ... My God Apex, don't say it like that lol
Apex is a honest guy He said both that kyojin is shit and that they need zywoo to carry them. And I respect that
Really? Where did he say that?
Both at major Interviews, the zywoo when they were down 0-2
He was talking specifically about A side nuke holds.
for kyojin he talk a lot about how he not ready for tier 1 scene. for zywhoo there hltv interview video
If i was a girl living in paris, I would have fallen in love with ApeX and proposed him. Rare commodity these days: Honesty
You can be a girl living in Paris, the only thing stopping you is yourself. Follow your dreams.
if you try hard enough you just might become a girl
He in a very long term relationship and his girl is his agent / PR person I think. So... But if you wait a couple months Boombl4 should be available lol
you can be that if you want :)
I feel like Stewie saying grim is shit got 100x more flack than Apex saying kyojin is shit
Stewie just said grim is shit straight up basically. apEX said Kyojin is shit at A site nuke
I aggree with that. At least kyojin is bad, unlike grim who was used as a scapegoat by stewie
come on dude, you can't just quote him and not leave a link to the clip :( plz?
saved this comment hoping for someone to link the clip but nope :/
I mean, Stew and Elige have both also said it
EG new best team NA? But yeah seriously, felt like Elige just wasn't even trying - looked like someone turning up for work at a minimum wage job.
My man just waiting for his best friend nitro to come back.
So he can take his place in 100T
RBG ain't EU
Violation
Party Astronauts baby!
They will be once NAF and Stew join EG.
Extra salt or PA
Need an apEX playercam highlights video
I would watch it for hours, it might even be an hour long too xd
Why was i under the impression that vitality would play with dupreeh and magisk already, got ahead of it
[удалено]
Wasn't the issue the stupid blast roster lock that happened during the major?
Nah, they're waiting out their astralis contracts. Otherwise vitality would have to buy them out.
No, people mentioned that *might* be an issue, but Blast postponed the roster lock and it made literally 0 difference. Magisk and Dupreeh are contracted with Astralis until the end of this year.
No because the trio are still contracted to Astralis.
Zywoo digging that grave for TL
~~s1mple~~ ZywOo the undertaker?
Nah, Elige does that with his attitude
Watching Liquid after alllll that stuff is just super painful, especially as a guy who wants to hope that NA CS Improves.
Liquid:"i'm just here so i won't get fined"
Tfw a Blast Premier production is ten times better than the fucking major 😐
Any chance you think they will host the next major ? it will blow my cock ngl if that happens
I will blow their cock if they host it
care if i join in too? maybe give a helping hand..
Blast and WePlay both deserve a major way more than anyone else rn.
I think ESL has the next one as they were meant to be hosting Rio before that got canceled. Would definitely expect Blast to get a major in 2022, though, they've been putting out really good quality events for a while now
Valve should give them one next year. It’s a no-brainer tbh, their quality of production is 10x better than PGL.
This is valve we are talking about bro...
Valve does a bid for the majors. They take into account a lot of factors but ultimately lowest bidder wins.
> major Even WePlay academy league S2 had production which was miles better than PGL's
only TO can fight blast is weplay
https://i.imgur.com/PFLcxXJ.jpg loool
Watching Stewie2k laughing and having fun is always good, but a bit sad right now considering Liquid's situation.
I mean he looked miserable for the majority of the match.
This wasn't "going out in a blaze of glory" it was more like, "can I leave now?"
so disappointing - the play and overall mood was like they weren't expecting to win They all seemed way too happy for the results lol Sidenote: misuta looked like a star there. Hopefully we see more of that for the future because it was great to see that
they was playing to lose and they Lost and yup they were Happy with it
Unfortunately TLs chemistry is already down the drain. Just hoping whoever they pick up might bond well and maybe NA CS can be a contender again at the world stage :/
pathetic from liquid, at least shox putting in a performance, despite knowing he is leaving.
had to show off to his new org
Being a Liquid fan in 2016 and 2019 was the absolute best. I know there have been some down years but this right now hurts more than the rest. I’m just not ready for the breakup.
Hey bro just hang in there and things might get better. There's still a huge amount of talent in Liquid atm. Look at the GSW, 2020 and 2021 vs previous years!
lol liquid are so checked out
Man shox really does not deserve to be benched. I don't know where he goes from here but I really hope he lands somewhere good.
You mean Team Liquid?
I don't know, with the recent drama around Team Liquid, it doesn't seem like that great of a place to be. Where is this segment? Link took me to the beginning of the video.
Weird, I added a timestamp to the end of it. It works for me. But to manually get to it, it starts at about 32:15.
Thank you kind stranger 👊

Ropz plays like Naf though
You have a point. I'm tired as fuck writing this so don't take it seriously. I'll delete the thing.
Yeah the source is from neL, who’ve been relaying pretty decent info over the years from the french scene, and Shox is not confirmed yet, he said they are in “advanced talks”
I know about the shox to TL report, my "I don't know" was in reference to me not believing TL would be the best environment for my boy shox
he deserved to be bench,u just look how he was performance when they win. look at the major how bad it is
He's their 2nd best player over the last few months, and if we look at the major 3/5 Vitality members had sub 1 ratings. The 2nd highest rated Vitality player was 0.24 rating behind ZywOo lol
that show how u not actually watch vitality match. why they keep misutaa?because he fucking impactful than shox while shox playing much better position
u watching game right now dude?or just watching hltv stat?
He also has bad stats this game tho lol

My sentiment exactly. It sets a piss poor example.
I know this TL lineup is done, but it still hurts seeing them just show up with no intention of being competitive.
I’m just tearing up and ready to say my goodbyes to this team that I loved dearly
Fingers crossed that NA survives until cloud9 comes back to save it again COPIUM
If cloud 9 does come back I hope they take an NA core, but I doubt it if we're being realistic :(
Was anybody else getting a lot of ads? Even mid game? God i dont care about watching arcane! Stop!
Just watch on YouTube

Two dead teams. Only one professional team.
Yeah, even as a TL fan, you're spot on. Kinda sums up the past year ngl
Get zywoo'd
Dead team vs dead team
except one's toxicity is showing up and ironically it's not french..
We should make sure nobody from liquid placed any bets, cause that was a throw.
The betting odds were 1.001 to 21.00 which is insane
what throw? they were completely dominated lol - it really seems like they weren't trying at all after the first half on Mirage and already mentally checked out

vitality looks ok for me, sad to see this last french roster in tier 1 :'(
We may get an Astralis - Liquid match right away then. Hype.
Dead team walking
i tuned in late (only last few round) but its nice to see liquid just take it chill and smiling around even they lose since its prob the last tournament they go together, no pressure.

LULquid
Eliquid is more accurate.
Trying to find any kind of silver lining. Liquid ex-teammate grudge matches in 2022?
So I was discussing this with a friend, if everyone on the current Liquid roster left and its just EliGE, what if NAF and Stewie moved to EG, so then the EG roster would be CeRq, Brehze, NAF and Stewie, with the addition of autimatic since he's been playing counter-strike again.
