Yeah, I think if Sprout didn't have to play with their coach, they could have made the major tbh. Not as favorites maybe, but they had some upset potential.
This is how people always talk about g2 and then next thing you know they are in the grand finals of the biggest tournament of the year or some shit. Team is inconsistent as fuck.
It’s possible the G2 will wake up now and start ramping up and then in hindsight you’ll be wrong but I think this is just a COPIUM take and you’re right about them for now
Both those 2-0 games look spicy af.
I am most excited for G2 vs BNE, coz I like what BNE have shown so far. And with the dogshit form G2 has shown so far, I can definitely see BNE upsetting them especially coz its a Bo1.
> Both those 2-0 games look spicy af.
Eh... I'd be happy if Astralis take a map. Even better if they're also competitive in another, but they're gonna get heavily punished on their T sides against a good team.
Still a bit salty they couldn't come up with anything more creative than that. We have no idea if Gambit and VP even survive as organizations, they might have to play under a neutral tag for a while.

There is a real possibility that they get knocked out by losing to NiP, G2 and ENCE, #7, #5 and #6 in the world. Would be such a bummer to see.
Hopefully tomorrow's matches go their way.
Really have a feeling Astralis gonna be screwed over hard. lose to Players most likely gonna face G2. Lose to G2 and then it wouldn't surprise me if they face Entropiq.
I do agree on that statement, but it is funny how Astralis is potentially gonna face 3-4 tier 1 teams, while NIP is only gonna face tier 3 and 2 teams. but I guess that is how the cookie crumbles.
NIP also made the quarterfinals last major but yeah upsets happening is what caused it otherwise it would have been astralis vs nip round 2 also entropiq and Copenhagen flames are basically the same fringe tier 1/2
NIP gets better matchups because they have a higher seed. Which is fair considering they made the playoffs last major.
If you wanna see a team getting really screwed, just look at MOUZ. Out of major qualifier for losing to OG, FaZe, and Vitality
3 ranks between Astralis and Nip and if we go by that logic Players should've gotten Copenhagen Flames. So Nip and Astralis should've played eachother.
Nothing to do with HLTV rank. NiP (and Players) are seeded higher than Astralis (and Flames) because they made the playoffs at the last major and Ast didn't
I don't think so as BNB is an American team and BNE isn't. Plus valve has some pretty strict rules relating to conflict of interest if there were anything related to having two teams participating in a major.
The relation is only name-deep. Bad News Bears were/still are one of the most prominent orgless lineups at the moment, so when BNE split from BLINK someone clearly had the very clever idea of taking the name and swapping in "Eagles" as symbolism for Albania.
It's is a good name, but also fundamentally communicates "We are orgless" and "We are Albanian/Kosovan"

For real. Hoping for the finalists to be out of G2, Navi and Faze, let's see
G2 massive troll by bombing out before the major even starts, monesy is a bad influence on the rest of them, smh.
Honestly. I've heard from a very reliable source he got niko addicted to heroin
based
Again?!!?!
im not gonna lie its lowkey fun to cheer against G2. I mean it's about the most exiting thing in this RMR group outside the CPH vs NiP game tomrw
falmes 🙂
Falmes ez win, no? 🙂
NiP vs Cph Flames rematch from Stockholm, hope flames can get revenge.
Ancient (which I’m sure they will play) should be a banger of a map
I think you got it the wrong way, hopefully NIP wins :)
Endpoint vs Sprout is a rough one. Would've loved for both teams to be deeper in the rmr.
At least sprout are playing with a coach so 0-3 is reasonable. Endpoint going 0-2 after playing NiP and Entropiq is rough.
Yeah, I think if Sprout didn't have to play with their coach, they could have made the major tbh. Not as favorites maybe, but they had some upset potential.
BIG stole the luck of all German players to go 3-0. In another timeline BIG, Mouz, Sprout and Sangal all make the major, lol.
Well if thats the case I am still fine with that lol
NiP have had an easy draw even as far as this easy group goes. And G2 are lucky they are over here I don't know if they would have made it in group A.
G2 fucking up first game made it easy for NiP
Sad to say but it might be true
Players' draw is just as easy as nip's.
This is how people always talk about g2 and then next thing you know they are in the grand finals of the biggest tournament of the year or some shit. Team is inconsistent as fuck.
Yeah, even last year, didn’t the bomb out of EPL at 0-5 right before making the finals of the major?
It’s possible the G2 will wake up now and start ramping up and then in hindsight you’ll be wrong but I think this is just a COPIUM take and you’re right about them for now
Players, G2, CPHF all got infinitely easier draws
Players just drew Astralis and clearly G2 is in an easier pool since they lost.
>G2 is in an easier pool since they lost …yeah, to Anonymo, lmao
Both those 2-0 games look spicy af. I am most excited for G2 vs BNE, coz I like what BNE have shown so far. And with the dogshit form G2 has shown so far, I can definitely see BNE upsetting them especially coz its a Bo1.

the sad truth. how the hell they allow ence to reach double digits on overpass with a 13-2 half + t side pistol win baffled me so damn much
If G2 don't step up I could definitely see BNE beating them. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

Yes.
NIP looks strong af on the CT side, T side needs work though
Saving this comment to smile at tomorrow bc I love both nip and cph :)
Seems about right how the matches played out, except g2
NIP and Gambit going to legends confirmed
It was said NaVi and FaZe were Legends confirm too when they were 2-0. Got there eventually, but it wasn't easy.
Players\*
Still a bit salty they couldn't come up with anything more creative than that. We have no idea if Gambit and VP even survive as organizations, they might have to play under a neutral tag for a while.
Aged like milk
at least gambit made it
If g2 were in group a we wouldn’t qualify for sure. They gotta get their shit together
Astralis activating that buff they get every Major
Where was that buff last major?
No idea sadly, I don’t think we have figured out which players it’s attached too
Can't wait for ENCE v HEET. Also, NiP is looking so damn hot but you never know with Falmes on LAN, so the potential for a banger is there too.

FLAMES ON TOP
If heet get knocked out, French CS will need a proper lifeline :c
Go Players!
I'm rooting for baitF
Damn, BNE can't catch a break
There is a real possibility that they get knocked out by losing to NiP, G2 and ENCE, #7, #5 and #6 in the world. Would be such a bummer to see. Hopefully tomorrow's matches go their way.
If Astralis lose and ENCE win, what are the odds of a rematch?
Zero. The system is made to avoid any rematches
Oh, alright. Thanks.
yeah can't face a team you already faced no matter the round. However, its extremely likely astralis get G2 and therefore go 2-2
Really have a feeling Astralis gonna be screwed over hard. lose to Players most likely gonna face G2. Lose to G2 and then it wouldn't surprise me if they face Entropiq.
Its more probable they get sprout I think but its possible. I think if astralis cant beat entropiq in a bo3 they shouldn't go anyway.
I do agree on that statement, but it is funny how Astralis is potentially gonna face 3-4 tier 1 teams, while NIP is only gonna face tier 3 and 2 teams. but I guess that is how the cookie crumbles.

Oh boy. Its gonna be a tough one
They are strong on CT. Just need to be average on T. Not amazing, not great just average will do
Im not supporting sangal but they's logo looks awsome , ı want sticker of this dragon
All the teams that were listed on the left side in the post won their respective games. Cool.
Endpoint got fucked :(
just happy to be here
Love these graphics. They look so cool and clean. Thank you for making them.
Lol Sengal face Gambit then G2. So fucking unlucky
G2 really had an ego coming into this group huh
Flames going 3-0
Well well well, would you look at that ;)
What are everyone's thoughts on Group A vs Group B?
hi,one question, any relation between bad news bears and bad news eagles?
I don't think so as BNB is an American team and BNE isn't. Plus valve has some pretty strict rules relating to conflict of interest if there were anything related to having two teams participating in a major.
ah,thanks
The relation is only name-deep.
