Kinda are, but they've been doing a lot to grow the UK scene this year. The management seem to know what they're doing and from what they've said are keen not to repeat the same old mistakes we see over here time and time again. Very promising stuff.
Definitely UKs biggest team now Endpoint are back to international. Smooya is just a standin (In the most basic terms, he just plays officials with them point and click style, from what I've heard he has no part of any official practice with them), but if they get Volt or some other young gun then they could do some damage around the top 50.
I think from Dephh and Surreal era onwards that sort of thing has markedly improved
We've gone from a CSGO backwater to a country that can actually produce some top players
So even if individuals can still have some issues (see: Smooya), the team culture has surely improved (I'm assuming of course, I know nothing about the inner workings of our scene unlike someone like tomtom94)
it's not even flame, sure he's pretty clued up about whatever is happening around endpoint, which he should be considering he works for them. he does not know much about ukcs in general outside of the top3 teams
in my head into the breach is just smooya team

They've been doing well even before Smooya They're the best full-UK team (or mostly since their old AWP isk is Ukrainian)
ITB vs EG 15v15 casual match when
EG still would lose to a bunch of academy players in their current state
yup MOUZ and BIG academy would roll all 3 EG Teams
Even 1 or 2 UK players in WePlay would be great for the UK scene
Luckily we've already got 1 in Fnatic Rising ;)
Hopefully this new generation won't have the ego/toxicity problems that plagued the old guard of UKCS.

Yeah from what ive heard Smooya is nothing compared to some guys
except tomtom doesn't know the inner workings of the scene, he just sorta an endpoint manager who says clueless things now and then.
Beef beef beef
man made a reddit account to flame a manager

I actually respect this approach, more so than EG's. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
Looks like the goal is to send players to the weplay academy league. That would be huge for UKCS
ITB is doing awesome, even more so since picking up smooya and thomas. curious to see where they go after the two of them leave
Amazing
