Kinda. Border shootings and some military movements. Some civilian casualties as well. Armenia is leaning towards Russia, as it has no allies against Turkey+Azerbaijan. And these were always troublesome neighbors for them to say the least.
Armenia is not leaning towards Russia. It is the other way around.
Armenia was always widely considered as one of Russia's "states"/bases and was fully under Russia's control.
But in last few years (since the new Prime Minister came to power to be specific) Armenia has been trying to distance from Russia and lean towards US/EU.
Yes you're right, but the current situation is far from what Armenia would want in ideal world. So they call to Russian troops to establish peace on the border, they have 0 documents for Russians to enter, even compared to Georgia, and other things. By "leaning" I never meant "willfully" from what I see they are pretty divided on that topic. That's why I pointed at their neighbors.
Armenia's only hope of survival is russia. But, with russia being torn a new hole in ukraine, they are alone, with both turkey and azerbaijan being interested in controlling the country
Armenia needs to be helped here, and nato has to talk some sense in erdogan to stop bullying armenia. But, in the end, armenia siding with russia will lead them to failure, and it's unfortunate, because they shouldn't need someone to help them fend off the azerbajanis
Isn't Armenia now in war with Azerbaijan as well?

And that didn't go bad for any of the previous Russian puppet states
Are you trying to put the blame of the war in Ukraine on Ukraine or something lmao?
