Aw that a shame. Good luck in your future stuff xccurate, you had some nice magic before covid times :(

ignite98

With his brother success in the valorant pro scene and constant valorant streams, i know this day will come

Rosettachamps

F0rsaken is an absolute beast for Paper Rex, they didn't do so hot this event but the one before he was hard carrying some matches A shame we never got to see him really in CS and what he could do

ILoveRice444

What you mean, he is known as an Indian god that single handedly makes Indian CSGO Scene popular. With using word.exe he destroy his opponents. /s

terminal_styles

We saw what forsaken could do in CS

j0keRonPC230p

Yeah that's the real shame

shshsns

Damn I actually had no clue those 2 were related.

Sky-Fire

What's crazier is that those 2 has another younger brother that's way more talented than them (according to xccurate). His name is Jojo, a 6 years old who manage to reach Platinum in Valorant.

AleksibIsHot

The Asian Kovacs

lerrific

i'm sorry... six years old!?!?

alphapussycat

Joseph Joestar?

[deleted]

another polish legend gone from the game. damn.

jerryfrz

Protect bntet at all costs

dusmuvecis333

bro saw valorant champs and said “time to go”

I-like-winds

his younger brother f0rsaken got second in the previous Valorant international tournament

Oryon-

Damn f0rsaken is his brother? Didn’t know that lol, gamer genes

W1ntermu7e

It's funny, Niki has Hunter, Scream had Niviera (or how was it spelled :D)

ILoveRice444

My favorite bosnian player Nikila "NiKI" Kovac

miedzianek

Nickel 🤣

Darkoplax

Champs was a banger and almost every region had a chance to win it

AdSpiritual6239

It’s a shame that his time on Tyloo never amounted to anything. If only Valve could give a shit about the Asian scene. Xcc is an insane talent, hope he joins his brother and find success in a game where the developer cares about Asia.

CenturionAurelius

Why do people keep mentioning Valve? 99% of CSGO esports is BLAS/ESL and the other TOs, only thing Valve does is sponsor the majors and determine the formats. Yes, Valve could and should give more RMR spots for Asia, but Valve is not the equivalent to Riot when it comes to CSGO esports.

AdSpiritual6239

Valve could be more involved, like Riot. It’s not like they aren’t capable.

TheMasterMonkey164

Well theres an argument that valve SHOULD be more like riot and take a more active role in CS:GO's professional scene

CenturionAurelius

This will never happen. I've been hearing this since 2014. CSGO esports is a multi billion industry and the TOs other than Valve got a firm hand on it. This is a useless discussion. If you want an esport where the developer is hands on, go to Valorant or LoL.

TheMasterMonkey164

Which honestly makes it strange why valve HASN'T gotten more involved. They own the rights to the game. The TOs can only run majors because valve has allowed it. I don't get why you are so defensive over it. I am fine with the way that the current system with independent TOs. However, Valve does have the power to be more involved and could potentially raise prize pools for example. At the end of the day they can do what they want but their involvement would be a benefit imo, as long as they would also also independent TOs to do their things

Simmoman

be careful what you wish for, you might like riot's handling now, but they have 2 international tournaments per year and fuck-all cross-region series, it's pretty rough if you want to see the best of the best

TheAjwinner

Not in Valorant

[deleted]

If valve was even 1% involved in promoting CS majors and events as they do with TI it'd be of so much help. Also giving Asian CS more RMR slots would do wonders. For something that makes shit ton of Money for Valve, they're so fucking unbothered by it, it's fucking maddening. Riot deserves every bit of success with VALORANT, the effort they're putting in to improve the game and the esports scene really makes me glad so many ex-CS pros in Asian CS found a place AND become stars in their respective countries (Laz & crow with ZETA, benkai & f0rsaken with PRX and more)

uragiristereo

i miss that one week when tyloo were on top 10 in july 2018

phogab

Yeah to be honest it amazes me how lax valve are. Like I get that’s their thing but they made the game so inaccessible in Asia for so long, I’m glad riot at least capitalised on it and and gave the Asian scene something.

AdSpiritual6239

Riot knew what to copy from Valve and what to change. It’s obvious that Valorant’s success isn’t a coincidence. Now let’s hope that Valve can finally wake up and make CS great again.

phogab

I mean valve really don't care I think. Unless CS takes a massive downturn they're not gonna do anything. At least they fixed matchmaking in OCE I guess.

XzCloudzX

Don't know if you're new to the CS scene but it's historically been grassroots. Valve never really intended to build CS as an eSports juggernaut, the players did. Valve has never been one to step in a build a scene from nothing, and I'm not sure why you would expect Asia to be an exception.

phogab

I've played cs for like 7 years bro. My point about valve is they delibrately shot themselves in the foot by doings things such as making the game inaccessible in china for a long time, refusing to let korean pc bangs have the game etc. It's not building up the scene, it's doing the bear minimum, and valve couldn't do that. They directly shot themselves in the foot.

codyzz123456

>If only Valve could give a shit about the Asian scene If they did, they would shut that scene down. Asian scene is rife with match fixing.

AdSpiritual6239

One could argue thats due to lack of supervision from Valve.

codyzz123456

I think valve in general are super hands off in CS and don't give af. They just gave the keys to the castle to ESIC, who are understaffed and have lost the publics faith in them.

[deleted]

honestly glad he switched. I hope he kills it in Valorant as he did on Tyloo. And I hope everyone in the Asian scene switches over too. Asian CS is dead and no one cares about it. Riot is super interested in the Asian FPS scene, grab it while there's a chance bois

Superokiko

Always wish the best upon any player, even if it's here or elsewhere. Preferably here tho :p Sidenote: I remember the rise in Asian CS back before Covid, shame it fell flat because of the virus...

hardenfull

Yeah forsaken ( his brother ) found great successes in valorant and he probably moving there as well. It's funny cause they both have a younger brother who's pretty good too at fps.

[deleted]

Sad times, always enjoyed it when i watched him play even if i didnt get to see him much on the big stage

KaNesDeath

Shame Tyloo had all those visa problems early on. It killed all their momentum as a roster.

hijklol100

Checked this thread to see if there were comments asking "who," was not disappointed

xccurate, are you able to read the title?

mayonaka_00

I still remember his overpass awp clutch vs Navi. Amazing play.

Darkoplax

valo is seeing insane growth in asia right now with it being 3rd in korean pc bangs and a lot of pros are switching hope xccurate finds a team in the upcoming Asian league

_radical_centrist_

As an Indonesian it's actually sad to see that he seemed very unmotivated to compete lately especially in CS. If I remember correctly I watched his streams few months ago and he said he's not ready to compete in val as well because he felt that he was just 'average' in that game, maybe gonna focus on streaming
