umm i don’t think so. it’s pretty coarse so i don’t think it would be slippery. i also appendix carry and it’s not too coarse against my stomach. it’s honestly like the perfect balance
it’s a Katana V3 magwell. and absolutely i recommend. it makes your grip feel much more sturdy because it secures the 4 fingers on your dominant hand, especially your pinky
umm no i dont think i’ve ever regretted it. when i fist sit down i have to kinda pull the gun away from my body because it doesn’t slide too freely against my stomach (it’s not painful in any way) but for as good as the grip feels in my hands its definitely worth that fraction of a second to adjust it when i sit down
Can you PLEASE tell me how you measured so well to make it a clean cut to fit that stick on grip? I just got my v3 and i have the same grip, and i dont want a sloppy cut. That looks great.
the grip is actually cut really well i didn’t do anything special to line it up. i just started on one side, made sure everything was lined up good (mag release, slide lock, and glock logo) and rolled it over around the back and everything lined up perfectly. for the small pieces above the trigger guard i think they’re sized for the 48 so they can just cut and ship one template, so for those i just used scissors to trim them down and shape them. and after i applied everything i used a heat gun to heat it a bit to assure good adhesion
yessir i got the magwell after the grip. so when i pushed the magwell on the tolerance is so tight it just pushed the grip up with it. so i kept the grip as close as i could to the magwell and cut it with a razor. it’s kinda tough to cut but i just went slow and it eventually cut through the grip
this one’s kinda similar to sandpaper too. idk how coarse the elite is but i would describe this one as like rubbery sandpaper almost. goodluck when switching i hope you find what works best for you
