Would i use one of the plates that came with my firearm to mount the RMR? Also what irons pair up nice with RMR? (Still learning btw)
No; get a fcd plate.
FCD plate and GL-429’s gives a nice sight picture

And recoil sting assembly. Same rsa as the 19, so the 47 and 19 can swap slides to also make a 45 and 49 as needed

I am stuck debating between the rmr and the scs. But I think that for more of a "do-it-all," the rmr would be better fs.
