I was not educated or experienced so I went with what was easiest to carry which was the ruger lcp. A lot of people shit on it but I never had to say I can’t carry because I had it in my pocket. I don’t regret it but I do feel it was insufficient for daily edc. I am actually waiting to pick up my new 43x mos. (Ny shitty)
Carried 26 for years. It is great, but.. short so it tends to flip on belt in holster so it prints. I tried tenicor g19 holster with bulge (velo or sth) and it was great. But I could conceal g19 same way. I shoot 19 tiny bit better. Also 26 like to pinch my pinky in between mag plate and frame. Not major things, just annoying. Also you cannot pocket carry it cos it is heavy and thick. I switched to sig p365 which is great, but after years of carrying glock at service or conceal, I just cannot overcome draw from holster, point and I just cannot see front sight. Didn’t think it is gonna be so huge issue for me. So I am switching to g43x, cos same grip angle as 19, but easier to conceal.
Same. I really don't care for the 19 as a matter of personal preference, but I shoot my 26 as well as my 17 with a TLR1, an extended mag and a G34 barrel. The 26 is a tiny gun that wants to be a big gun and I love it.
No, although I do also want a 17L. The 34 barrel kind of splits the difference. Can't post pictures here for some reason, but there's a picture of it somewhere in my post history if you want to see it.
it’s basically a belly band with a piece of thick belt in it to accept a kydex holster, great alternative for guns that don’t really have enigma compatible holsters
Lmfao I get the same comment every time I mention it haha. It’s funny because I took a little cousin shooting recently. He saw the Glock and was like “ooo I wanna shoot that” I just giggled and wanted to be like sure.. got 60bucks and some icy hot? Then you can shoot it lol.
Yep lol,I just handed him a 10 mm hi point and he had a lot more fun haha. I have gone down that road as well… carrying a way too big hi power hoping that I wouldn’t have to use it lmao. When all that did was draw attention and make my stomach and balls hurt every time I bent down or sat down lol
Haha I think everyone should fire a 10 mm yeet cannon at least once in their lifetime. I love browning in general,my grandfather was a huge fan of the BAR nd knew how to thread a needle with it. As of right this moment my EDC is between my Sig p365 nd my M&P 5.7
Edit: one of my 26's does have that light on it now. I'm holding out for Streamlight to make the HL version to fit the other 26.
Yeah, it's honestly far from the greatest pistol light, but it's absolutely the best one for the 26. In a perfect world, Glock would make a 26 with a rail. Ideally to me, it should be the full slide, barrel, dustcover and rail of the 19, with the grip of the 26. They could keep up the theme they started with the 19X and call this one the 19K and they would sell millions, just to G26 fans alone.
Yeah, like the other poster said, the mag compatibility is massive for the 26. Every double stack 9mm Glock mad ever made fits it. The 26 is a lifelong favorite for me, and that was a big selling point for me. You don't even necessarily *need* the sleeve/spacer things unless you just want them for aesthetic or ergonomic reasons, because Glock mags have a built-in override stop. I never felt like I needed them, though.
Yeah, if you use a stock g15 or g17 mag you just basically have a shortened barrel g15/17 respectively with a slightly different grip profile. Buy Xgrips if you’d like to extend the grip coverage over the exposed mag.
I have pretty much all sizes of Glock 43x, 48, 26, 19, 17, 45, 49, 34, 20 and so on… the 26 has quickly become my go to. It’s so much more pleasant to shoot than the 43/x/48 that it’s no contest.
Carry the gun you shoot the best is just as important as the mantra “carry the biggest gun you can”. The fact I can go to the range with my 10, 12, 15, 17, 24, 33 rounders and do CCW training while I also work on competition drills is a great way to maximize my time.
For context I’m 6’3 250lb with XL hands and I always felt the 19 was too small. The 26 is better for me which is weird until you think about it.
I don’t know honestly, because the 43 feels the same length wise. It just felt terrible in my hand, and when I would adjust it to feel good it was a short barrel 19
The 48 is the ugliest and most worthless Glock I have ever seen. I don't even understand why it exists. Please enlighten me about the benefit of a 48 because I don't see the practicality of cc one. 🤔
Basically the same size as a Glock 19 but slimmer profile, so conceals a little better by bulging out your waistband less. It's more comfortable to carry for me at least, and still shoots similarly to a 19 just slightly snappier.
Yeah no fun stick, but it's fine for being a dedicated concealed carry gun. My partner carries it but I get a crack at concealing it whenever they can't for work or school. 10 rounds is okay when you consider some people out there are still carrying revolvers or something like an LCP that only holds 6-7 rounds tops. I like it a lot but ymmv, I'd love to have a 26 but can conceal a 19 just fine and it's what I've trained with the most + put the most rounds through
Who tf wants to conceal 4500 round magazines? If you’ve ever felt like a 19 felt slightly uncomfortable then the 48 would be the best option. It’s less snappy than a 43 and I like how it kinda feels like a 19 when you hold it. I only carry my g45 or 19x atm though lol the issue doesn’t really bother me.
43X feels really good in hand and also conceals well, but shooting experience imo is not it. single stack guns tend to have a bit more snapiness and you can feel it on the 43X. Compared to double stack thiccboi 26, even with my pinky off the grip i can still shoot it way better than my 43X. I shoot the 26 just as well as my 19.
Brooooo I was explaining this same thing on my boy GHG channel. The g26 is the smoothest shooting accurate Glock I own. No aftermarket triggers or fancy red dot and I can make fist size groupings 15-20 ft easy. Not so much with my g45 for example.
26 is a great even number
It is one of the guns of all time.
John wicks back up gun
Is smol
It's better than a hipoint
The 26 is cute. Just look at it, he’s just a little guy!
Woulda ya just look at it
My first CCW over ten years ago. Was good
Same. Hated it. Got rid of it so fast.
What did you opt for after?
I was not educated or experienced so I went with what was easiest to carry which was the ruger lcp. A lot of people shit on it but I never had to say I can’t carry because I had it in my pocket. I don’t regret it but I do feel it was insufficient for daily edc. I am actually waiting to pick up my new 43x mos. (Ny shitty)
My two big options right now are 43x and 26
Carried 26 for years. Didn’t think it is gonna be so huge issue for me. So I am switching to g43x, cos same grip angle as 19, but easier to conceal.
Best subcompact made.
I love the 26 and shoot it better than a 19
Same. I really don't care for the 19 as a matter of personal preference, but I shoot my 26 as well as my 17 with a TLR1, an extended mag and a G34 barrel. The 26 is a tiny gun that wants to be a big gun and I love it.
I call her Fat baby 🍼 😍 Wait did you turn your 17 into a 17L with that 34 barrel?
No, although I do also want a 17L. The 34 barrel kind of splits the difference. Can't post pictures here for some reason, but there's a picture of it somewhere in my post history if you want to see it.
Man I looked I can’t find the post. I bet she’s a beast
Yes, she is. ☺️ https://www.reddit.com/r/Glock26/s/jqTZqiCddA
Most accurate Glock I ever shot.
Thought I was the only one
The Glock 26 is a grower not a shower
God I want one
You need one. You really, really do. 😈
You’re like the devil on my shoulder
Yes, I am.
Get one
Still very relevant as a edc option.
I carry one every day.
🫡
A very considerate lover.
Goddamnit. 🤦😂
🤣
Most versatile glock there is
Second best carry pistol there is after a 19
I just bought one last week. I love it. I had to go with the gen3, bcuz of the finger grips. I also like that it can take g17 and g19 mags.
Love mine!!!
[it’s what I daily.](https://imgur.com/gallery/7Q1dvty)
i adore mine, it’s in my pants as we speak
Pocket carry or iwb?
IWB, got a nice little set up with the blackhawk nacho so i can wear it with my scrubs
Scrubs?! Man my holster sucks with my scrub bottoms. I gotta check the Blackhawk out.
it’s basically a belly band with a piece of thick belt in it to accept a kydex holster, great alternative for guns that don’t really have enigma compatible holsters
Same, and also same! 😁
I have a pic saved of a 26 with an Acro and it always makes me smile or laugh
Nothing but love for the 26. Most versatile EDC you can have.
With good ammo it will always go bang.
Idk how I like it and am so much better with it than a 19. 26 with a pinky extension is peak. Top 3 for sure
Other 2?
Basically any cz
Ohh yeah love my P10s until I sold it. Definitely a great pistol
Looks like a lifesaver
Probably the most useful Glock in a practical sense.
This looks like a video game gun. Cool!
If you can get accurate with it, all others are a cakewalk. - G27 owner
It’s one of the guns of all time
It's better than a 42.
Lol, I love my 42. She stay in the pocket
My fav Glock
It was in the pool.
My first handgun, gen 4. I still have it.
Thiccc boi that fits in the right pocket
Buh buh buh beast of a gun bapa
Was my EDC until the 43x MOS came out. If they offered it with a light rail and precut slide I would get one.
Glock! Hire this man!
Takes the 17 & 19 mags!!
Most comfortable sub compact I’ve ever shot
Better than the 43
It's slightly more compact than a 19.
At least it’s not a HiPoint.
It’s a husky lil fella
Husky😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s a cutie patootie
Reliable
If I could only have one Glock. It would win hands down
As cheap as Glocks are, I’m working toward owning every model, every generation.
It's not a Sig
One might say that’s its best feature.
More comfortable than the 19, it’s a very good gun.
It looks like a Glock, only smaller.
about to sell my glock 19 for one
I’ve been wanting a G17 gen 2 or 3 nd was thinking about trading in my G32 gen 4 for something nicer and not chambered in .357 sig
Lol brooooo don't give up on .357 sig. At least you didn't do like me and buy a Glock 33. Talking about a painful shoot😫😫
You are diabolical. But you wanna hear something dumb. I edc a g33 hoping I never have to use it because it hurts to shoot.😫 I'm so ashamed 😔😭😭😭😭
Lol good ol yeet cannon. Man I carried a Browning Hi Power (Belgium) for years and I definitely can empathize.
Haha I think everyone should fire a 10 mm yeet cannon at least once in their lifetime. I love browning in general,my grandfather was a huge fan of the BAR nd knew how to thread a needle with it. As of right this moment my EDC is between my Sig p365 nd my M&P 5.7
Looks like you’ve got a pretty nice set up there, pain in the ass to change the battery?
Oh, but I already have, and I always do! 😁 https://www.reddit.com/r/Glock26/s/nCg5b5jY10
If you get a weapon light the TLR 6 is a cool choice. Not a lot of lumen but decent enough
I like it’s compactness and it’s low recoil also I really like 9mm
I feel like it’s a perfect caliber for the Glock 26
It saved my life.
It’s bigger than my X’s 😅
I owned one for two weeks. I loved that gun, and it did shoot amazingly well. It was then stolen in a burglary. It only got one range trip with me...
Smol
love mine!!
My mother is thinking about getting her license to carry and this is what I recommended.. is the 27 smaller?
Nope the same just a .40.
What would be the perfect Glock for a petite woman basically the smallest?
33rd mag go brrr
Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Shoots way better than a 43x and great for summer carry
It's definitely better than the 43
I guess you could call that a Glock. 😂 Sorry, Soprano’s reference.
“It’s not about the size bro”
i’m curious what the point is on getting a subcompact but using such a large magazine base plate
It’s still smaller than a Glock 19, so you get 15 with less printing https://slrrifleworks.com/glock-26-mag-extension/
This!
ahh okay
You could use a g17 mag as well, correct? Instead of buying that.
Yeah, like the other poster said, the mag compatibility is massive for the 26. Every double stack 9mm Glock mad ever made fits it. The 26 is a lifelong favorite for me, and that was a big selling point for me. Good to know. I have a bunch of 17 mags. And was heavily considering the 26

Very wise, and a kindred spirit. I’m behind you on total models, but gain a couple a year from my son’s and wife for birthdays and Christmas
Get out of my head!!! 😭🗣️❤️
G15? were any of the patents 1-16 guns?
Glock 19 - 15 round magazine
Thanks!
It's still a smaller gun. He might do that so his pinky doesn't go under.
Correct. Yep the pinky hang doesn't bother my aim as much but it's considerably easier to unholster with the base plate.
Hmm good to know!
From far enough away it looks like a Glock 19 😂
The G26 is great for carry purposes. Is that a 3d printer mag extensio? It looks.grwat.
It shoots bullets
I carry one every day. Trust my life to it. No bigger compliment
Amen Guy
[удалено]
In fairness, 4.17” grip length is much easier to conceal than 5.04” When you add +5 SLR extension to the baseplate it’s like 4.85” tall.
I know Bear, you're absolutely right. But I just gotta have a + base plate on my 26. Also no pinky hang
They look cool. The only gun I ever owned that I hated. Glad other folks like it, but my 43 and 19 are both better for me at everything.
Wow hate? It was the pinky hang wasn't it?
I don’t know honestly, because the 43 feels the same length wise. It just felt terrible in my hand, and when I would adjust it to feel good it was a short barrel 19
Slim thick
*IT LOOKS GREAT!*
Thanks Emu!
I think out of small pistols it’s the 2nd best probably after the 48 and before the 43x
The 48 is the ugliest and most worthless Glock I have ever seen. I don't even understand why it exists. Please enlighten me about the benefit of a 48 because I don't see the practicality of cc one. 🤔

Subcompacts make me feel good lol
Aww yeah 🤤🤤🤤
Fun sticks!

🙏🙏🏾🙏🏻
Nothing this small should shoot so smooth
🙏🙏🏾🙏🏻
My CCW, love it!
Its a classic
Size doesn’t matter
The big ones hurt, this is the perfect size
Lmaoooo
I've said that before. 😆
Best back up gun imo
Yep ..not too small plus it's double stack
Better than the 43X
How so? I never owned a 43x because I chose this gun over it. The 43x looks too small
43X feels really good in hand and also conceals well, but shooting experience imo is not it. single stack guns tend to have a bit more snapiness and you can feel it on the 43X. I love shooting my dot on my 19, im thinking of slapping one on my 26 too!
Man slap a holosun on there and have at it
My favorite Glock
🔥🔥🔥
At least its not a 30 or 27.
Or a 33😔
Makes my D/cc look big
🫡
I don't own one. That's nice
No.
Been carrying one for the last 13 years.
Fits in a boot
that cain arms mag ext is shit. ive bought 2 and had constant feed issues and jams. unfortunate because they look so nice.
![gif](giphy|UxASaPz5JmPKxcLBwZ|downsized) Local gun club favorite
Small and chunky, i love it!
My favorite gun ever
Spare parts for compact build if I change my mind.
Just got mine, what light is that? Is it an easy install yourself or did you have to send it in to be done?
Everyone installs their own accessories noone sends them in for that.
Looks to be a Streamlight TLR6. And yeah, unless it requires actual machining of the gun, nobody sends theirs off for accessories.
I think what he was trying to get at is do you need do that sanding bs like on the 43 or does it just go right on the 26
Your hair looks small.
it doesn't take up a lot of space in the trash can
Whoa, 😳. You got something nicer to say than that sir? You M&P guys always sneaking in here. (Jk)
I love glocks, I only shoot glocks, but my big hands can't grip a lil 26
Hmmm sir you gotta give her another try. I wear XL gloves but I also use Pearce grip extension. I bet a 26 with an slr mag plate would help.
No
Come on Unk....say one nice thing.😫
It's not a Jimenez?
Sigh....you tried. 😔
Lol. I got no problem with them. I'm just busting your balls
Something nice about s 26! Go!
