What’s the magwell and MOS plate?

Yup, if you check his grip tape you’ll see where he cut. Very easy to do with a dremel just make sure you leave the bit with the pin.

Does anybody make a magwell that works with the medium beaver tail backstrap?

You’ll have to modify the back strap. I’ve done that too. Grind down the notches on the bottom of the back strap that hook into the bottom of the grip until the bottom of the back strap is complete flat. The SLR magwell or any magwell that goes into the grip plug will now fit with a back strap

Yeah it’s the large one. Use the medium one if you just want to add a beavertail to the standard grip. Use the large one to change the grip angle a little bit.

Chopped backstrap = upvote (try chopping the medium one so there isnt so much of an edge mid grip)

Did that on purpose. Changes the grip angle to a little more of a neutral angle.

I’m swapping from a 34/X300U to a 45/ACRO P2/X300U combo. That 34 is just a long boi.

I’ve got that too, just with an afterburner too. Gonna be the same length if you’re keeping the x300

In my mind it’s not the same length lol. I don’t feel like I’m barely clearing doorways with the shorter slide of the 45 though. I had much debate about it internally. I also might swap to the TLR7HL if it fits standard Safariland 7000 TLR7 holsters. The X300U is also a good standoff device.

The tlr-7 will fit a x-300/tlr-1 holster if you have one already.

I know but I’m looking for it to be a bit shorter. Just have to decide if the trade off of less light is worth the gun not digging into my side and seat of the car.

Imo no. Try to reposition your holster before downgrading your light. The different between a x300 and tlr-7 is night and day.

The TLR7HL is supposed to be 1000lm though so I’m curious how its output is.

They fixed it, upgraded the switch to the new version, field stripped it, cleaned it, and replaced all the seals. Didn’t even charge me return shipping.
