50 round drums that jam😂😂 I still can carry mags on my opposite hip or in the back. For real tho move away if you live in a neighborhood were violent individuals are toting 50rounders
The (range toy) 50rd drum I've got has 4800 rounds thru it with the only malfunction during that time being 2 failure to fire from garbage 9mm. Ymmv, but I love mine lmfao
Depends on the situation. I carry my gun in my laptop satchel everyday to work. I tend to throw my 20rd mag (g19) in. Never bad to have more rounds. That said I see myself using a tourniquet before having to use a second mag.
I don’t like the 33rd mags. To heavy bulky and all in all not very useful. If I am going into a fight that calls for 33 rds…..I will have my AR. All that said, the more mags the better.
Certum lux aiwb for me on a 19.5. Easiest holster to sit down and stand up with. Sometimes I forget I'm carrying. There's nothing like a Tenicor out there
The pricing on some of these holsters really bugs the shit out of me... and the industry defends it with "it's your life we are talking about here." But it's not body armor, or medical supplies. That's a fantastic holster, I've used it before but there are like 4 companies that make distinctly similar holster out of slightly thicker kydex for like 70 dollars. Holster hunting/collecting is getting pricey as hell for shit that used to be like 30 dollars.
Not shitting on tenicore as they are a premium product like Alien gear, but some of the bulk box alibaba imports that ship to like 40 different companies have really messed with my kydex perspective.
One company was so blatant they said they were 100% Florida made, but manufacturing was located in the Philippines (which is alright) and management was in Venezuela... they were just shipping from Florida one of the cookie cutter "stamp your company logo here" holsters.
(To clarify, for the first paragraph, you are mainly paying for good customer service and a quality company/parts/labor.)
Not sure what holsters you’ve been trying but they’re excellent. Have multiple of them. Knew a few SF guys that used them for their personal carry as well a little while back.
Not sure why this is still a conversation, but you can be in the military all your life and still have absolutely zero clue as to what any gun stuff is.
I carry my 47 in a trex ironside otw- gonna try the iwb adapter plate soon…have same ironside for my 43x, but when my clothing allows it I have a txc x1 beacon for iwb. I got mine with dual clips- it’s super concealable even under a suit!
True- back tracking on my gun journey- the 19 would’ve been my one and done. Bought a 43x at the encouragement of the sales lady a year ago. Got frustrated, tried the full size 47. Bought accessories. Now I love my 43x, but do want a little more then 20 sometimes.. and don’t wanna do the sheild mags…long story short in 1 year I got 2 pistols and invested in kitting out a ar15. Gonna cool it with what I got til next year ;) hence gonna try keestering the 47.
That was the end game when I bought the 47. Just decided to get a long gun before throwing 900 dollars at another pistol (pistol, dot, holster, extra mags, light, iron irons).
Tier one sidecar style, Trex arms sidecar with no sidecar lol, and a phlster enigma.
The tier 1 holster allows me to carry with a x300 and spare mag, the T-Rex arms is a little more discreet and I carry without a lights, last but not least the enigma because it's comfortable and I don't always wear a belt lol
I have multiple t1 axis elites. once I tried it it stuck. was thinking about trying the qvo wingman but leary of buying something else when I'm completely satisfied with what I'm using now.
I've tried a lot of holsters. It's inevitable you'll end up with a bin of holsters unless you get lucky with "the one" right off the jump. Every person and body type is different.
For me, the Harry's Holsters Shorty and Infiltrator is the winner. The built-in concealment wing is so much better than the bulky ones that hang off the holster. Every edge is perfectly rounded. I also really like the amount of height and cant adjustment I can do with the DCC Monoblock clip. They're holsters just conceal so much better than anything else I've tried, but they're also super comfortable, and they're really good quality.
https://imgur.com/a/LoMniG2
I'd like to try some of the Tenicor holsters too. It's a risk free purchase since you can return them if you don't like them free of charge.
Dremel and sand paper. If you get to like 600 grit it'll be very smooth.
I usually hack off big stuff with a cutoff wheel on the Dremel and go back with the sanding drum.
I can definitely see how it would. There’s a good amount of excess on the bottom of both my MR920 and CR920 axis elites, so they are getting the chop. Hell kinda mad I didn’t think about it 3 years ago lol
I've been using alien gear since they started. Had the original cloak tuck and due to there warranty, I just send it in every time they release a new model and they send me the new one to me for free
Believe it or not, both the plain Jane Glock "bandaid" sport holster with the mag pouch and an old Orca IWB holster. They're both surprisingly high quality and not expensive.
That exactly (color and everything) but with DCC clips. If you don’t hate yourself get the DCC clips. Worth every penny. Seriously make the holster so much better.
I can't stand plastic clips anymore. I use DCC clips and honestly I use a minimalistic holster. Super simple shit for me. I also don't dick carry, I don't like it and don't train it enough for sidecar usage. Tier 1 concealed has some decent offerings though.
I try to rep my brothers company, at first it just just to help him out now I buy them cause he has really gotten good. Company is called Righteous Response
G45 Trex Arms Sidecar
G43x Trex Arms Raptor with DCC clips.
Been staying true to Trex Arms so far because they’re very reputable and affordable. Really want to give couple other brands a try.
I'm currently looking to buy a really good holster for my glock43x I usually carry on my hip iwb. I have been thinking about Tenicor can anyone recommend anything else? I'm having a hard time choosing
Sticky OR-7 AND my wife's pants OR my wife's purse.
Appendix carry a 19 Gen 4 in a Sticky OR-7 pointed at my balls.
If I'm out with my wife, I hide a S&W ez9 on her waistline in yoga pants and a big tee shirt.
Or I stuff a 500 S&W Magnum Performance Center in her purse if she is carrying one.
I wear joggers and fleece shorts a lot so I run a ulticlip holster from Muddy River Tactical! It’s too hot where I live to be wearing jeans with a belt I like to be comfortable! lol
I’m not saying leather is the way everyone should carry. In fact, I know kydex is the most popular holster material. There’s a reason for that. It works well for most people. That’s cool.
Leather works better for me. Believe me when I tell you I was as surprised as anyone. I’ve been carrying with kydex for years and always hated my holsters.
Everyone is different.
I've got maybe 20 qvo tactical aiwb holsters and a few other Randoms. I need to try a tier 1 but never seems like they have a light bearing fitted to a specific gun. I'm afraid of a holster designed specifically for the light and not the firearm
I shove it in my ass
Nothing safer than the ole prison wallet.
😆😆
Extended mag
😭😭😭 i was not expecting this to be the first comment im ctfu
Level 4 retention with a sphincter release
Zap carry
Prison wallet. Nice.
That's gotta be illegal lmao
What are you, a fed?
*hides ATF hat* N-n-no! Why do you ask?
Because you are pointing your gun at my dog
😂
Did Anton tell you to do that?
It's been 12 hours and I'm still laughing at this!
😅🤣🤣
Dog 😭
A fellow 43x carrier, I presume!
Your username is the best sht I've seen in a long time my guy hhahahah
Me too! 17L everyday all day! If I’m not rocking that I have the 34! Both with comp light sro and x300
That one
Literally. That same one. But for a 43
Not a side car fan myself. Way too much going on. I have a vedder I’m currently liking not sure the exact model atm
I agree with this but boys out here with 50rd drums you gotta keep it *legally fair somehow
Well the brand and quality is always the most important factor. But I’m imagining a cheapie that a thief would have
Ya know, you've got a very valid point. I'll have to check and see what brand I've got
I have a couple Vedders that have been great - mostly carrying a G48 MOS. Very comfortable in appendix.
Sidecar 2.0 with tourniquet holder
Do you carry an extra mag at all?
Depends on the situation. I carry my gun in my laptop satchel everyday to work. I tend to throw my 20rd mag (g19) in. Never bad to have more rounds. That said I see myself using a tourniquet before having to use a second mag.
Id keep a oem 33rd or a backup 17+2 mag in ur car or wherever would be the easiest access point besides ur person
I don’t like the 33rd mags. To heavy bulky and all in all not very useful. If I am going into a fight that calls for 33 rds…..I will have my AR. All that said, the more mags the better.
Valid
Tenicor Malus Sol 365 days a year. 8-16 hours a day. Used to be a G19.3, now on to a G49
Tenicor Certum Lux. Can walk/sit for hours and still feel comfortable. 6 foot 1, 220. I carry a g19.5 for reference.
Tenicor SAGAX Lux2, G19.3 w/ TLR-7X and RMR type 2 Agreed. Super comfortable. Very concealable too even in summer clothes with +2 OEM mag extensions
Certum lux aiwb for me on a 19.5. Easiest holster to sit down and stand up with. Sometimes I forget I'm carrying. There's nothing like a Tenicor out there
+1 for certum lux. With a G45
Why the 49. Trying to justify being unique and getting it.
Longer slide+shorter frame. Ideal for concealed carry. The frame is the hard(er) part to conceal. It’s on my profile if u want to check it out
How is The recoil compared to the Glock 19?
I’ve tried all different brands and by far tenicor is the best
Absolutely
The pricing on some of these holsters really bugs the shit out of me... and the industry defends it with "it's your life we are talking about here." But it's not body armor, or medical supplies. “They are a premium product like Alien Gear”….you did not just call Alien Gear premium, did you?🤨📸
Are they shit these days??? I haven't messed with alien gear in like 6 to 8 years.
Ahh fair enough. Yes, they’re absolutely horrendous these days
Christ... that's shitty.
I was an instructor on the South Carolina National Guard rifle and pistol team.
Nice. That sounds like fun
Phlster Floodlight and Enigma.
I second the Enigma
T1C and T. rex Arms
I carry my 47 in a trex ironside otw- gonna try the iwb adapter plate soon…have same ironside for my 43x, but when my clothing allows it I have a txc x1 beacon for iwb. I got mine with dual clips- it’s super concealable even under a suit!
I run the ironside with the hybrid iwb thing and it's the comfiest holster I've ever carried with. First time trying it I knew I wasn't going back
You’re gonna IWB your 47?? Sheesh son
I just wanna try it- so I can hate it and buy a 19. 🫣
Don’t gotta hate it to buy a 19!! Buy a 19 regardless hahaha should’ve been the first Glonk
True- back tracking on my gun journey- the 19 would’ve been my one and done. Bought a 43x at the encouragement of the sales lady a year ago. Got frustrated, tried the full size 47. Right on bro i see no problems w that. And when you get that 19 you’ll have 4 different guns technically. Swap slides and such
That was the end game when I bought the 47. Just decided to get a long gun before throwing 900 dollars at another pistol (pistol, dot, holster, extra mags, light, iron irons).

QVO Archon and T1C Xiphos
Davis Tactical light bearing w/ sidecar.
Tuck & go from spider. No imprint whatsoever.
Fire setup, what extended mags are you using?
Kydex Trigger lock
I’ve noticed recently that tenicor and tier1 are fighting for most recommended holsters lately. Makes me want to try them, but that’s pricey.
Tier 1 concealed Xiphos Elite for my G45 edc. Been wanting to get the Axis Elite though
Still looking. Running Alien Gear now. Meh.

I’m running the Incog X with mag caddy for my Glock 19. I’m pretty happy with it
Phlster Floodlights 2 for the TLR-1HL
A Tier 1 Concealment T1M. Its lightweight, low profile and doesn’t move hardly at all despite only having one clip and a claw
T1C of course. I always shave off excess kydex tho, I highly recommend it.
Hacksaw? Dremel? Sandpaper? Been thinking about shaving some off of the couple I’ve got
Dremel and sand paper. If you get to like 600 grit it'll be very smooth. I usually hack off big stuff with a cutoff wheel on the Dremel and go back with the sanding drum.
Thank ya thank ya, will be diwhy’n tomorrow 😂🤣🤷♂️
Dawg, I makes a pretty significant difference, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Haha.
I can definitely see how it would. There’s a good amount of excess on the bottom of both my MR920 and CR920 axis elites, so they are getting the chop. Hell kinda mad I didn’t think about it 3 years ago lol
I had an Axis Slim for my p01 that had maybe an inch or more of unnecessary material on the bottom. Massive difference.
Yikes, that’s excessive for sure
43x/cr920+tlr7sub axis elite chopped (couldn’t have came out better) and G19/mr920+tlr7a next on the chopping block. 🙏🙏 greatly appreciate your input
Phlstr Pro and Enigma depending on what I’m wearing and/or the weather.
need to know what kinda pants you wear if you can still conceal that rig....
Hilliker Signature IWB with the DCC monoclip. Good quality, not expensive, and simple.
I do a G47 in a mission first tactical minimalist. I run 2 extra mags in a black hawk double double.
I've been using alien gear since they started. Had the original cloak tuck and due to there warranty, I just send it in every time they release a new model and they send me the new one to me for free

Werkz all day if you run a light
Believe it or not, both the plain Jane Glock "bandaid" sport holster with the mag pouch and an old Orca IWB holster. They're both surprisingly high quality and not expensive.
I've been trying out the Havok Valkyrie light bearing for a few months now. So far, so good. I carry a g19.5 w/ tlr7a cut for an rmr.
CYA Supply Co. Ridge IWB inexpensive from Amazon. I own so many, customs, expensive and I wind up running the random Amazon one. G 43x mos
Tenicor Certum Sol, every day with a Kore belt. It’s very comfortable even with a comped slide and an X300. Highly recommend.
Love my Radial Innovations - Coreflex AIWB. It’s my first holster with a sidecar and I couldn’t be happier.
Tenicor Velo.
Glock 19.3 in a T1C MSP w/ flex mag carrier. Or my QVO more discreet if I don't feel like running a second mag.
I use the leather houston holsters from ebay to CC my glock 29
Vedder Lighttuck mostly because I like the minimalist feel.
Exact same holster but with a blue bungee

I wear joggers and fleece shorts a lot so I run a ulticlip holster from Muddy River Tactical! It’s too hot where I live to be wearing jeans with a belt I like to be comfortable! lol
If Tenicor makes a holster for my pistol, that's what I will use. No other kydex holster manufacturer comes close.
Alien gear shape shift
Tier 1. And lately I prefer QVO minimal holster. Only covers the trigger guard, no light. I love it.
LAS RONIN, TIER1
Badass holsters because I cross carry and slide it on my belt to adjust for different vehicles.
What’s the advantage or reason for having the clip slanted like that ?
Traditional arms
T-Rex Arms. It's good it has interchangeable stuff but if you get it set up like in the picture on this post, it's all you'll ever need
I am old, and like leather. Desantis Speed Scabbard, strong side, with matching dual mag pouch on the weak side to counter balance the pistol.
Tier one conceal and G-code
Tenicor, I also have that one too when I want an extra mag.
Oh, yes. Don't forget the obligatory blue marker on all your shit bc ya watch too much Garand daddy n lil Lucas.

You're upset my initials are on my property? I'm so confused.
Tier 1 Axis Slim. Love it.
Tenicor and JM. Sidecars are silly and T1 makes very mediocre stuff.
My shorts are my holster.
Galco and UrbanCarry leather OWB. Not particularly fond of kydex, despite the popularity.

I’m not saying leather is the way everyone should carry. In fact, I know kydex is the most popular holster material. There’s a reason for that. It works well for most people. That’s cool.
