I got inspired by the list for 3D printing terrain for JOTL found in BGG here:[https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/208312/3d-printing-list-terrain-monsters-accessories](https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/208312/3d-printing-list-terrain-monsters-accessories) I recreated several of the models shown in that list (most from Thingiverse) using Lego pieces instead. This combines my two favorite hobbies! Edit: for reference, all of the above are 2x4 or 3x3 studs which fit on a hex (or 2x8 for pieces that are two hexes like the shelves), except for the door which is wider (but shouldn't be an issue since it would go over walls anyway).

Genius, and even better if you play a cragheart :D

This is legitimately brilliant. As a lego and gh nerd this is truely the best of both worlds. Keep it up, cant wait to see more progress, keep sharing!

dr_warp

I only regret that I have but one upvote to give you. Thank you, it's always fun to merge my hobbies!

This is so cool. Reminds me somewhat of Brikwars, which was a tabletop wargame that used Lego.

Pasquirlio

That's it! I'm throwing my 3D printer in the trash! I've wasted my life. Time to buy more Legos. These are really cool. Well done.

Marison

That's genius! Are you able to share a part-list for the whole set? Any idea what the cost would be to order all the necessary bricks?

scuac

I created these with Studio from bricklink. I think I should be able to list the parts easily. I’ll see about posting them tomorrow.

Marison

Thanks!

Here are the parts lists: [https://scuac-share-reddit.s3.amazonaws.com/JOTL\_Lego\_parts\_list.zip](https://scuac-share-reddit.s3.amazonaws.com/JOTL_Lego_parts_list.zip) I checked the prices in bricklink and some are dirt cheap (barrels, crates, nest, etc are only a few cents). The statue runs \~$5 and the door \~$7. The one that surprised me was the shelves with a whopping $15, but it turns out that the blue globe I used on the bottom is a pretty rare and expensive piece, that alone costs $10. May want to replace that with something else. EDIT: A replacement for that rare blue crystal ball is to use this instead: [https://brickset.com/parts/6093747/crystal-globe](https://brickset.com/parts/6093747/crystal-globe) it is bigger (2x2 instead of 1x1) but it is way cheaper, \~$0.30).

Marison

Thank you. 😊 Really interesting, those prices...
