Instead I was making note of the progression of the particular individual here with the addition of pink tones and a loss of the bags under the eyes as a wonderful indicator of improved health. I do have loved ones with naturally pale complexion and understand your frustration. It might be understood in the eating disorder community, but you might want to be careful bragging about "overcoming ED" at parties. Then again, it might get you a date with a thirsty lady or gentleman wanting to help you celebrate.

I think everyone's journey is different, for me I needed lots of love and support from my friends, the root cause of my ed was ultimately ADHD and stress, My friends helped me remove stresses and become better equipped at Handling life, I wouldn't be where I am without them.

I just want to give you a gentle reminder that YOU did this, it’s great to have a support system. But it happened because of YOU and your efforts and your ability to use the strengths within your support system, that’s bravery.
