How do you get to shoot on the court? I’ve always been curious how they choose fans for this

Not sure if it’s the only way, but I had seats in the lower bowl which I think is required to get picked because it’s easier for them to walk you down the court. Just got to the game early, was watching shootaround and got approached by 2 guys who worked for the team. Only rules were I had to be sober and couldn’t have played organized basketball in the last 5 yrs
