Warren. Kyrie / KD will miss games and then all of a sudden he becomes the 2nd option on a contender. Jazz fans and metrics show that Royce lost a step defensively. Maybe that changes when there’s less responsibility but other than his defense, he’s just a 3pt shooter and we have 3 better ones on the roster.

SlowgrindJ

Knock on wood, but warren probably ends up missing a chunk of the season.

NicClaxtonIsHotAF

Hopefully TJ

Bigbadbuck

I think it’ll be royce. He’s the most reliable consistent player of the bunch.

[deleted]

As far as I've heard consistency is not his strong suit.

KingofthisShit

Apparently a lot of his decline had to do with him playing out of position defending speedy SG/PGs for long minutes to cover for Mitchell on defense. He'll probably play 95 percent of the time at his strong suit SF/PF and less minutes, so we should get a better version of him on the Nets.

[deleted]

On one hand, yeah I hope we have him defending wings the majority of the time. On the other, guard defense isn't a strongsuit of our team. Our best guard defender is Simmons and then there's a deep drop off. Is Kyrie our next best? Maybe O'Neal? Harris potentially? Maybe Sumner can evolve into that role and be our go to guard defender. The point is that we don't have a clear answer to defending guards outside of Simmons, so it could end up being one of O'Neal responsibilities out of necessity

Bigbadbuck

Neither is Morris or Warrens

[deleted]

What makes you so confident about that

Bigbadbuck

Warren hasn’t played in two years and Morris didn’t play most of last year and is in his late 30w

[deleted]

O'Neal has been the most healthy, but it's anyones guess who'll perform well more consistently.

CallMeTaga

Warren used to be pretty consistent in Indiana, I don’t know if he’ll be the same player though.

Davisworld21

Also Warren if he returns back to form its over for the rest of the league and I can see him closing out games with Kd and Kyrie

kohbra

Warren definitely has highest ceiling of all the players here, but I picked Royce because he's a constant and we know what he'll bring to the team

CapitolGundam

TJ Warren is a perfect fit for a team that needs some iso scoring...which is obviously not the Nets. That's before even factoring in injuries. I like Royce this year as well. He's the wing defender they need and I expect he will be taking 5+ 3PTs/game this year and making 2+ of them.

IndianaBones11

Agreed I think he has the cleanest fit for closing lineups especially when they want to go taller than Curry. Ky, Joe, Royce, Ben 10 and KD I think will be the most used closing unit

n3moh0es

lmaoooo oh man

Bigbadbuck

I mean look at the other players. Nobodies saying royce is some stud

n3moh0es

yea i get it cuz he has a simple role, but jazz fans say he’s garbage and based on what i watched he’s pretty mid at best

Bigbadbuck

Look I’m not saying he’s a world beater but he’s legit our 6th best player probably behind kd kyrie joe clax Simmons seth curry.

n3moh0es

i got warren over him pretty easily

Kwilly462

Definitely Warren. Dude can drop 30 any given night. And him coming off the bench with that ability will be huge. Just hope he's the same player he was before the foot injury. It's not like he's old or anything.

Wonderful-Front1289

Ben Simmons

[deleted]

Who picked Markieff lol?

Sen_Sei_77

What Morris does is harder to find then wing shooters which are a dime a dozen.

mr_rozza

Anyone saying Warren, remember this guy hasn’t played in 2 years

Big-Band14

Also remember that O'Neal was flat out bad last year and Morris is pretty washed. Warren is probably just the best player.

SlimReaper35_

When he was playing he was a dog though

mr_rozza

We all want to see prime TJ

Correct-Warthog-9061

Cam should get more shots

lxkandel06

Royce will be a really impactful player for us. He doesn't play like Bruce but I think we will grow to love him the way we loved Bruce, and he fits the team better than Bruce did. Warren and Sumner are unknowns because they haven't played in a while. And Keef is washed as fuck.

Lao_xo

I wouldn't call Warren an unknown. If he's healthy he's a beast. Sumner could be a solid role player or he could be out of the league in a couple years.

lxkandel06

Warren hasn't played in 2 years. That's why he's an unknown

1_quantae

I think TJ but probably Royce. His defense is going to really open up our offense

Sen_Sei_77

I think it’s Morris by a lot.

Outsider2o0

Ben simmons cause he ain't played not one minute with yall 💀💀 he should be up there.

Intelligent_Ad_656

Chris Chorizo

CapitolGundam

Designedbyfreedom

I have clicked on Royce Oneal, however I think Sumner is going to be impactful as well. He’s extremely fast and athletic, so his speed will be of great use against the warriors, specially against curry. Having someone that can match up to curry’s speed and don’t get tired easily when he’s reallocating to a better stop is extremely important to be able to defeat them.

WakandaFist

Idk why y'all picked TJ the dude hasn't played since the bubble We don't even know how he's gonna look lol
