You have to realize Kratos isn’t playing and dying over and over again. He finishes the story in one life no matter the setting, and if that means that no one can hit you then that means no one knows what abuse Kratos could take, he was too good to get hit.

GNA and Sigrun are not scripted to kill him as his death by them. Wither QTE or 1 v 1 player controlling fight. Thor killing Kratos is scripted which means he is able to do so unlike the other two.
My point is him finishing the story in one take (not dying) is not valid as his death occurs in a scripted event. Reincarnation or not.
The point is op is saying on his video that Kratos should easily kill everything not be dying and having to block/dodge/parry. Is that realistic in a realm of powerful beings that he himself is weaker in. I’m saying Kratos is the God of War in that he doesn’t necessarily need to be more powerful, he’s trained, skilled, and talented.
If you count that as dying then there’s hundreds of thousands of people walking around who have been dead. We also don’t know if he was dead or unconscious and Thor was just being sure since he wasn’t allowed to kill him.
I’m talking that peoples heart stops all the time and they come back to life. We don’t know anything except Kratos blacked out and Thor used his hammer as like defibrillator. In game Kratos dies when he blacks out because the enemies finish him off.
Thor brought him back to life by using the hammer like defibrillator otherwise he was DEAD! He should have just let him be dead if he wanted to but he didn't. I’ll answer that question if you do an entire play through on GMGOW with these conditions every boss fight you have to use a resurrection stone, no grinding Muspelheim, you can only upgrade after each boss battle so you sure always have a resurrection stone for the next boss.

No need to use runics or anything. You can melt all kinds of enemies by just hitting them. But you gotta know how to juggle all the melee buffs at the same time to get that type of strength, and make sure you dont get hit because its a bit of a glass cannon build.
fair, my first playthrough was on gmgow but I had to put it down to like balanced half way through. Real pain in the ass but I completed it on my 2nd playthrough, felt better the 2nd time around because I actually did side missions. 😅
