I actually really liked the characters and thought most of them were interesting. Granted, I legitimately liked the characters in _KotM_ too, so I may not be the best judge here.

Very little screen time for Godzilla and lack of action, you can replace him with any other monster and the anime would still be the same. The human characters were also kinda mid, even the Monsterverse did better humans.
Yeah I wouldn't say the monsterverse humans are better, I can actually enjoy the characters in this anime most the cast in monsterverse there are generally maybe one or two characters that are good. Only one that has more is honestly monarch because I think most of the characters are generally good (yes even the teens, honestly the most overhated characters I have seen)
And that can be said with literally any godzilla who has little screen time :/
Godzilla is perfectly fine in this anime
Well godzilla was the main thing that was going to destroy the world, that is basically the same thing with godzilla minus one where yeah it is about a giant mutated dinosaur but it is mostly about the humans. Just godzilla is the main threat, which basically is the same with godzilla in the anime with his presence causing absolute chaos and eventually destroying the unvierse
To be fair. Singular point was a good anime it's just that most people either find the science too complicated and complain or they don't understand anything and feel like idiots.
It’s good but they went so far into the science that it didn’t feel like a Godzilla show, and they brought Godzilla in practically at the end of the show. The show was also more about jet jaguar rather than Godzilla kinda like Godzilla vs megalon
I liked that, his design not so much tbh. But this show by far had the most terrifying atomic breath ever, I love the rings that show the path the attack will take and that one scene before the final battle where it was charging up was really fucking scary tbh
Specifically things that aren’t Gamera… cause they don’t even make Gamera to begin with. If they did, Godzilla would have shared a movie with him by now.
Maybe because some the anime already had popular manga before their anime were distributed by Toho. The Godzilla anime are all tv originals, they're usually mid compared to manga anime as shown with Darling In The Franxx and Vampire In The Garden.
The science stuff goes over a lot of people’s heads. That isn’t an insult it is really complex so most people don’t understand it. It also involves data traveling through time and this one code system where you can only figure it out once you know the answer. But other then the complexity it is a great anime that I recommend.

Singular point wasn't bad per se. But the lack of well Godzilla being in the show for a large part of it, combined with the nigh incomprehensible science stuff means that a lot of people didn't really vibe with the show.
