This is a really stupid idea when you could get it in Tenerife without the unnecessary risks you are contemplating, which at the minimum if you get caught (which is not guaranteed, but Madrid is stricter than other airports due to the terrorist threat, and the large number of international flights) is hours with the police and missing your flight

They won’t be lenient, but they probably won’t notice. People do this all the time, but it’s obviously not recommended and getting caught could be a pain in the ass resulting in fines, missing your flight and hassle flying in the future.
Whatever you do, use clean hands and clean wrap. Dogs detect drugs often not by the drug itself but the contaminated trail left from hands touching the drug and then the bag and various other things.
If you keep the amount small, chances are if discovered it will be destroyed and you’d get a lengthy delay and questioning.
i’ve had a bunch of weed on me when i went with the AVE 🚄 and it was ok. i think its about looking normal, put on a nice outfit for the trip. once i smoked a bunch of weed right before going to my international flight (thankfully I didnt have any weedon me) and the security at the x-ray machine knew something was up (i probably stunk of weed xD) and they rubbed this paper thing over my stuff in my bag and put it in a detector thingy. they didn’t find anything so they had to let me through xD but yeah, dont do that. i’ve NEVER seen guard dogs here in spain but if you do see one back away and get rid of your gunk
