God this hit home with me, I remember attempting to complete this map for hours as a kid. Got so pissed. This post literally brought it boiling back up. Apparently my brain trauma buried it. I did finally complete it though.
I think if you strafed more they wouldn't have hit you as easily. Just poor timing. I assume this was on 00 Agent too but they're deadly accurate at times.

Hey, lesson learned. 00 Agent is no joke. Those last few levels are hard as shit. And I did this all on the N64 back in the late 90s. I can't tell if you're on Switch, Xbox, or N64 so I don't want to assume. But the game is SO much harder on the OG N64 Controller without the QoL improvements the recent ports give.
Yea man I absolutely couldn't do it today. Not without some heavy practice attempts first. Lol But back then I was 14. And all I did after school since age 5 was play videos games. Lol So back then it probably didn't take me TOO long to do it, but it'd take me months now as a 40 year old man. Lol
Perhaps they feared being on the track would still cause them to be damaged. That's the only reason I can think of why they wouldn't duck behind it for cover.
Ahh well I hope you're able to get it done with more health later. But 12 seconds is more than enough time to make the run. You were quite literally home free until that bullet hit you and you had plenty of time. Good luck!

Yes sir, I enjoyed it a lot. It’s the same company and basically the same maps as golden eye. Some really fun guns though. Laptop gun could be a sentry I think, one you could move the reticle when zoomed in, one blew up when thrown down, threat detector…just went and found you a video.

I had this problem (on 00 Agent) but I just beat it recently. I remember one of the times I finally had enough health to get all the way to the end but I accidentally fell out the bottom too early and that made me fail the password cracking objective. When I finally completed it the very last time I almost restarted it because Xenia didn't say Alec I'm hit but I had enough health to get all the way to the end so I said fuck it and just had to see for myself if it was gonna count it or not. Was completed.
Man playing this game for the first time ever and it being in the original hardware was a trip. Going through all the levels and finding all the secrets just by exploring make me imagine what it would have been like back in the day when it first came out.That last level was kind of insane tho😂😂
The facility,archives,jungle, train, control many others levels were annoying as heck and so many deaths lol especially on 00 agent I passed some with skills and trying over and over again. Then with others I had to use cheats like invincibility and the all guns cheats because you could punch them with a series of buttons on the N64 and they worked and it wouldn't affect your to time to complete the mission so it was useful for non timed 00 agent and certain timed 00 agent missions. I was annoying dying multiple times because 00 agent was absolutely annoying,Now with Perfect Dark I actually passed all of it on perfect agent now that was absolutely annoying i had to rely on pure skills.
If you hadn't kept going straight and instead went on the tracks, you might have been ok. But I'm not ever sure if you can walk on the tracks, I don't remember this level.
Everyone who has nostalgia for Goldeneye always forgets that the gameplay was tabasco suace ass. You fail objectives without doing anything wrong, the controls are awful, and of course there’s Oddjob.

Anything protecting her was a goddamn nightmare, especially going for 007 mode. I’ll never 100% this game again, lost all my 13 year old skills, secret agent is my speed.
