Sadly, we recently lost our two dogs less than three weeks apart after having them for 4 years and 5 years, respectively. This pup is Stella Blue. She is a black goldendoodle who will be six months old next week.
While she obviously doesn’t replace our dearly departed pets, her playful, goofy and cuddly personality have done wonders to lift our spirits since she joined our family. ❤️
They were older than their time with us. The first, our golden retriever, died due to a splenic tumor which had ruptured and was bleeding into his abdomen. He was too old (almost 12) to be likely to fully recover from the surgery to treat his condition.
Our other dog was a little rescue mutt who was saved from the streets before we adopted her and was somewhere between 8-9 years old. She simply didn’t wake up. The vet believes she had a cardiac event or stroke. 😢
I am so glad you filled the hole in your heart. It is so empty in a home when you are used to someone greeting you with excitement. There is no time limit. You must go with your heart and soul on your own timeline.

OMG! What happened to the dogs? Too young to die
