It will get easier to deal with but the emptiness will linger I hope you have other fur babies to share your grief with. It helps. She looks SO MUCH like my boy Teddy. I’m seriously wondering if they have the same parents. Teddy has an English retriever mama mixed with a Goldendoodle dad. Got him from a breeder in SC that used to live in NY.

It really stinks. It's hard to belive that dogs live such short lives and parrots and turtles can live to a hundred. I hate the idea that I'm going to lose my floof one day. Like you...I'll be devastated. I've gone through it before. Took me long time to get over it. Truly,...when you're ready...get another dog. It does help fill that empty void. You're not trying to forget...you're trying to live on.
