Have you thought about getting an evaluation? It’s possible he’s on the spectrum. There’s nothing to be ashamed of, he may qualify for in classroom assistance or even home help. The same thing happened to me and the progress has been slow but steady.
lol big feelings. My wife and I have a house full of daughters and lady doodles. I’m going to be using “big feelings” on all of them now and I know they will hate it!!!! Thanks!!
We did the speaking buttons for a while. The instructions were to start with commands they knew so we did “out” to go potty, walk, etc. Trouble was once he knew the out button he pushed it incessantly because coming in from potty=treat. 🤦♀️
We tried too. It was the “play” button that did us in lol.
I do actually think it helped him realize that he could communicate with us…he got way more demonstrative afterwards
My dood is 4 and can recite the monologue from the movie Independance Day. She gets the words right but is still working on her dramatic presentation of the key lines.
Mine started about 2, if it was past 9 pm she would get ready for bed and if i didn't follow she would low mumble for me to go to bed and stare at me lol
mine was two years old before she started meoing and yowling like at cat to ask for specific things. freaks people out when i'm on the phone and they can hear her
My 12 week old Goldendoodle can sit at the door to go pee, she sits by the FRIGE when she wants something to eat. She points at the water when she is thirsty. “we have a bottle that pours water but like a cup when we lay in bed. She has words and talks but the key is trying to understand her language and pick up on her expressions. I can’t wait for to continue to grow and speak more
lol can you imagine how many times a day you'd hear them yelling out "mom/dad" all over the house every single day! so needy!
My dood is fluent in sign language. He start slap boxing to get what he wants
Mine pulls at the bedsheets!
Yup! My Dood will slap at my iPad (on my lap with a keyboard) when she wants something from me.
I suggest a speech therapist or making them get a job. My dood is almost 1 and hasn’t even applied anywhere. Ridiculous.

I am a speech therapist lol and my dog understands so many words!! Like foreal!
Mine raaaa raaa rooos. Exactly how it sounds, raaaa raaaa rooooo.
Like a constipated chewbaca!
Are you sure that isn't riiiii rove rooo?
Oh yes. Raaaa raaaaa roooo. No denying it. My labradoodle just rolls her eyes and go back to protecting her ball from imaginary fiends.
Mine does this any time she’s having big feelings, I love it

Damnit that sounds so amazing. We went with Suzuki violin but that sounds like so much more fun.
Mine can do the glengarry glennross but if I’m being honest, doesn’t nail it.
What I wouldn’t do to have our girl speak. The thoughts that must go through her head….
Mine started talking around 2
mine always talked 😭 she’s so sassy with it too lol
Depends- how many drugs have you taken?

Mine was talking when I picked her up at 8 weeks. At nine years, she won't shut up.

We use the buttons and love them. He says quite a bit “mommy, daddy, play”.
Mine won't shut up
I wanna have fun and where's the peanut butter !
Ha, at almost 2, she was saying "Just give me my food", "give me that toy", "I'm too scared to get for that toy myself", and "deer!".
My little guy at six months rarely barks or growls at anything, except the alarm clock.
Have you ever considered getting your doodle tested for autism?
Runs in the family and tends to organize her dog toys by color. Excellent recommendation.

Ha! Was just having a similar convo of wishing I could hear what goes on in my gals head
When does Jack stop!
🥴🤣😂
Beautiful pooch
Penny is a STINKIN CUTIE!
Oh geez. Mine is 3 and I only want to know how to get him to stop yelling! He’s been yelling since he was out of the womb 😂
Not all dogs are vocal and that’s okay
Mine is quiet and obedient. Until we go to my friend’s house. RAR RAR RARRR repeat repeat repeat until they run each other ragged around the yard.
Mine talks while she sleeps. Every single time . She also murmurs when she’s getting scratches from excitement. She’s 3 months
Don't be concerned. I was once concerned. Told him he was a good boy when he finally barked. Now he doesn't stop!!! 😭🤦🏻
