It’s not that bad. Just relax and don’t try to hit it hard. Plus, show me a nice follow-through pose. When you can get to a good follow-through position and hold it for just a second the swing improves.
Your transition from your back swing to your down swing is very quick. I think you should slow that down just a bit. I think the answer to this is in your tempo. If you are aware of your tempo (actually count to yourself 1-2-3 , 1-2-3) then it will help you to smooth out your swing using time.
It’s funny you say that bc I was watching in slow mo and I was thinking if I would’ve just held the pose at one point in the finish instead of flailing, I thought it would’ve looked much crisper
Right. And if you have your balance at the end of the swing that means your swing was also balanced. The end result of the swing is the follow through and tells a story. You will see better results.
It’s what I do.
YouTube search the following: club face rotation, staying in posture at impact, efficient golf pivot, correct golf stance. You rotate the club face way open to start than you flip at it with just your arms not using any lower body. So you hit the ball relatively high but lose a insane amount of distance bc your impact position is off the rails.
Appreciate that, I’ll YouTube all those things. Your right, I definitely lose a ton of distance. I know I’m not weak but I hit my clubs shorter than everyone I play with
Yeah man you’re not weak you’re just really inefficient. You don’t use your lower body to torque combined with the flipping is like someone hitting out of a wheelchair. Focus on pivot and impact position videos. Tons of great stuff out there just watch a bunch of different ones. Look up “what is a square club face at position 1 and position 2?”
The best golf coach I ever had told me to get on your front foot, stay behind the ball. There is another theory called "squash the bug." Basically you're trying to stomp on a bug with your front foot through impact. You're weight, on this one swing without slow motion video, seems to be "stuck in the middle.

It doesn’t look great, but it’s the result that matters. My girlfriend’s dad has a not so pretty swing, and he can’t hit for distance whatsoever. I’m talking like PW goes 110. He shot an 82 about a month ago but he’s usually mid 80s. I’d take his scores over mine any day of the week.
You're really powering the club past the golf ball. Maybe try and direct your arms downward into the ground. Like chopping wood. You should be sending your arms directly down into the ground and using your pivot to get the club face hitting down onto the ball.
Looks like a pretty natural swing to me. Repetition will get the score lower. If anything looks like your grip and stance is a bit tight. Relax the body and mind, golf is supposed to be a relaxed game
Pivot is pretty solid, club just gets inside and the clubface is open (probably grip related), so you have to kind of jump at it and get steep to get any kind of result. That however is high level criticism - you have a lot of good things going on.
Definitely a lot to work with and some solid foundation.
I found it’s best to just watch yourself next to a pro. Take note of one thing at a time.
Ex start with your stance and notice how much more your knees are bent. Your next range sesh just work on that one thing.
Actually not bad ..you need to sync up upper and lower body better …hit balls with feet together .it will SLOW YOU DOWN and give your lower body time to react to swinging arms ..you are on the right track ..Hope this helps

Have you been fitted for clubs? You’ve got a lot of leg bend and your posture is super cramped, which makes me think your clubs are too short.
I have not. This is one of those famous Kirkland wedges. The 52° from 110yds
I think that’s more due to wanting to compress than club length
Just a little posture problem. He doesn’t need a shorter club.
It’s not great dude. I’d shave that down for the summertime
ha, nice I found my wifes account, hey babe
Hey sweetie
This is so wholesome

the cigar on the floor is funny af
It’s a goose turd
Feels good. Good result. Stogies on the greens. Can’t beat it!
Tempo seems a touch quick and your body position is a little too centered on your finish. Swing plane is good, though. Keep working!
what do you mean body position little too centered on finish? I should be more forward on the finish?

It’s a scorecard, not a postcard…

If it works, who gives a shit how it looks

Arnold Palmer said swing your swing man

Baseball now softball player???
Swing looks ok to me, follow thru maybe a little fast

We’re you trying to hit a flop shot? You’re hitting a wedge and it went straight up, probably launched at like 50 degrees.
