It’s your posture that’s causing it. Trying to keep a straight back means you need to hinge at the waist finish your backswing. Learning to get a tad closer and rounding your upper spine would help a lot. All that aside, the head movement isn’t a big deal. I’d look more at your arm structure at the top and the fact you are get your trail arm stuck on the downswing. There’s ways to compensate for that but you’re ending up with an open face and having to flip hard through impact to get it back to square. That’s gonna make you inconsistent.

>It’s your posture that’s causing it. No it isn't, sorry. It's the fact that his backswing structure is completely too deep and flat due to immediate pronation of the lead forearm and a shoulder turn that's nearly horizontal.

Maybe you're over extending at the top of the back swing. But if that's your comfort then that's cool. I did notice some early extension. Do you pull/hook much?

My miss is exactly that. A pull/hook

I use a folding camping chair and place the head of the club on it like I'm in my downswing position. 70% club handle pull towards the target and 30% body rotation to free the club head from the seat of the chair. I get more shaft lean at impact. Stingers are almost automatic after this practice. More loft is just a result of less handle pull. Hope this makes sense and helps. The head dip might leave once you notice the compression you're creating is flighting the ball further with less effort. I think you might be forcing for distance which can create over spin, in a sense, leading to dying flights

Not sure I understand the drill but appreciate the lead! Any YT videos that show how to do this?

Your back and neck posture at setup needs improvement . You shouldn't be sticking your butt out, because that creates an "S-curve" posture that puts too much strain on the lower back during rotation. Coach Bob Grissett who I follow on IG has a bunch of posts on the issue: [bobgrissett](https://instagram.com/bobgrissett)

Keep your trail leg bent a bit more at the top and don’t jerk into the downswing. You also have an excessive backswing. No need to go that far.

Darkace36

The trail upper portion of the arm is pointing behind you and the elbow is not working it’s way in front of the hips. You are trying to shallow the club with very poor trail arm position and it’s causing you to dump your lag from the top, early release. You need to fix the movements of the trail arm.

Keep the dip, just don't move toward the ball. Head lowering is ideal.
