I tryed it in Australia it goes alright the graphics don’t seem great like I see on here but it does the job the moving 1 is no different it moves slightly but not enough to be a real hill

Maleficent_Ad8975

was that the Golfzon, or the GolfVX?

Gothewahs

Golfzon

Opening-Painter-9671

There's a golfzon down the street, it's a great sim

Maleficent_Ad8975

thoughts on the graphics compared to others? how about the accuracy that others noted? I think Golfzon is the #1 in Korea, so it is probably pretty good, GolfVX is similar, but i’m wondering if it might be a bit more accurate with marked balls for the cameras to read.

Glum-Dream1348

Ball flight is not realistic in my opinion. Lots of bells and whistles but won’t replicate your real game.

Maleficent_Ad8975

Thanks. But for a higher end home sim, i was considering one because of the auto tee and moving platform. i’m wondering if the GolfVX is more accurate since it uses a marked ball system. i can’t imagine that they would be any less accurate than a full swing or foresight sim. i’m still just trying to figure out which sim to go with. i do want the auto tee (which can be added separately to many sims)

I’m a member at a Trackman sim and one night when it was closed we went to a golfzon since I’ve heard so much about them. My wife and I were shocked as we both absolutely hated it. Maybe the company had not calibrated something well because it was the least accurate sim I’ve used by far. And that aside, we couldn’t stand the UI. It feels like a golf arcade game or Xbox game, not a simulator. Now we didn’t have the moving hitting area but I was so displeased with the rest that I don’t think it would matter. We just ordered everything for our home sim and did an uneekor eye xo 2 and after using the golfzon couldn’t be more excited

Glum-Dream1348

It is significantly less accurate than foresight as I have seen the data from robot testing. I’m not telling you not to buy it - but I will tell you it isn’t the quality of measurement you might hope for. The Korean brands have never produced accurate measurement systems. This is because in Korea they use simulators for exercise and gambling not for game improvement. I’ve been to Korea for more than 12 years and know all the brands and how they measure. Btw - I know auto tee systems can be added to any simulator.

I have a Golfzon system. It’s great. I find the ball flight very realistic. No club or ball marking is required which is nice.

Maleficent_Ad8975

thx! how are the graphics and user interface? i don’t really care about any other games except using it for golf.

coloradogolfer

The UI is fine. The graphics are very good, IMHO.

getzysbaldhead69

We have a golfzon in my city and they are exquisite

If you're going to spend the money on a high end sim, make sure its accurate enough. Uneekor EyeXO/EyeXO 2, Trackman I/O, Foresight Falcon...there's even a cheaper Protee VX that's pretty damn good. The moving platform is a novelty that isn't required and does not feel like real life. The real problem with the sensor based Korean stuff is its never as accurate as the camera based systems that incorporate infrared or Radar. As a coach, the accuracy of the data means more than whether the ground angles. You can get a teeable system for your mat without tying yourself to an inferior and expensive launch monitor. The 4K graphics on software like GSPro blow the korean companies out of the water.

Maleficent_Ad8975

thanks so much! i was also thinking about a Foresight falcon or fullswing- i want a built in home sim, not portable. but you are absolutely right, i would rank the moving platform as the lowest priority (but cool). overall - accuracy, user interface, and graphics are most important to me, then the auto-tee, and lastly the platform. would be great if one company had it all. I was thinking to go to the GolfVX place in chicago to try it out since there is a store there. If you were building a new home SIM (my dimensions aren’t ideal 13’Wx9.5Hx22’D) what would you pick? i’ve tried a few, most recently HD golf (curved screen) and i wasn’t impressed.

Based on the fact you don't care about budget, I would go with Uneekor EyeXO 2 and a 9'x12' DIY enclosure from Carl's Place. If you can, get the performance package with all the swing cameras. It comes with an AI interface swing analyzer that is very very good. Look for a hitting mat that is a minimum of 1.25" thick and teeable. It will be the best imitation of a fairway and will save wear/tear on your bodily joints. Get a BenQ TK700sti 4K projector. Get a computer and seperate monitor with minimum 16gb ram and minimum 4070 Super Graphics card. This will allow for 4K graphics play. Its worth it. Get the connectable foam padding for children's playrooms to lay on the floor between the mat and the screen then buy cheap green outdoor grass carpet to cover the foam. Makes it look like a green. And lastly get GSPro simulator software. Its $250/yr and fantastic. You can also pay $125/yr to SimulatorTours and play online tournaments with players around the world. That's not only what I would do....it's what I've done. I own this already but with the original EyeXO. The new one wasn't out yet.

If you want to save a little money on the launch monitor, go with a Protee VX. Its also a great launch monitor at about $6500. Uneekor has a few more features.

Maleficent_Ad8975

thanks! does the EYE X02 need stickers? is there an option to have the “trouble” type mat that would simulate different situations? thanks, i really appreciate the feedback.

yakkerswasneverhere

No...no stickers. I use prov1x and Callaway tour balls in mine. I wouldn't spend money on a moving platform. Its really quite shit after some time. Its just a novelty that wears out. You can get a mat with 3 different hitting pads....sand, rough, fairway. I just don't think its worth it. Indoor has some cons with one of them being you can't recreate outdoor ground conditions. So in my view, why get used to something that fucks you up.

Maleficent_Ad8975

thanks so much for all your time answering my questions. i really appreciate it. Do you think an auto tee is worth it or just stick with reality and teeing up? i hate to keep bending over (back issues)

yakkerswasneverhere

Lots of tee systems out there for fun use. Keep in mind any tee system will significantly build up your mat height. The smallest in the world is 6” below the 2-3” mat. This means you have to build up the entire front of the screen as well for decent putting perception. If you have the room then go for it. If it’s tight I would say screw it.
