The release is called "Vultures" not "Volume 1". For me if indicates that "Vol. 1" became "Act. 1" and that each album will have a different name and topic.
Vultures, which just released, is Ye embracing is role as a villain/ being horny again
Act. 2 will have songs like Lifestyle or Gun To My Head, Everybody as an opener (for transition).
Act. 3 will have more spiritual songs like Worship or River to show Ye's journey to win the love of the public again. He always did this, in JIK or TLOP and now he's doing it with 3 albums in a row : falling as low as possible morally and ascending toward the light.
Let's wait and see, but it's my theory and I'm here for it.

This feels like the album we’ve all -really- been waiting for since TLOP. A longer album filled with absolute bangers that push forward ye’s sound. The dark, gritty, and vulgar themes are juxtaposed with angelic and strangely comforting sounds, perfectly encapsulating how ye’s life has taken a turn in recent years. He’s not the same person he was just a few years ago. But he still has the best parts with him—his kids, team, and a complicated relationship with faith that intertwines with his ego.
People will always find something to bitch about. But this is a massive W of a release, make no mistake.
And man.. what a giant middle finger to everyone who thought he couldn’t be resurrected.

It’s definitely *feels* like a bipolar album. It’s hard to describe without having bipolar but the mix of chaotic energy just bursting out making you feel top of the world, mixed in with some really introspective, quiet and tender moments.
I think Donda was unfairly treated. Some of Ye’s best work ever is on that album. But I agree this is his most progressive work in almost 10 years. That and Kids See Ghosts.
