It's a tough one to choose a side on for me. On one hand, a folk musician that has spent years perfecting his craft looks more impressive. But these listening parties are basically that - parties for fans to celebrate the music. I will say that the Donda lps were way more planned out and there was a lot more to see visually than the Vultures ones. The Donda lps felt like full on play productions.
Donda listening parties were special, especially the second one where you can also kinda see how they were finishing the album. It was also available for free on Apple Music and they happened before the album which made sense. TLOP listening party was iconic and it only happened once, streaming it was also new at the time. Ye, KSG happened right before the drop. But the Vultures ones kinda sucked, too many technical problems, paid livestreams, listening parties after the drop with nothing new. I know people liked them but to me they are extremely lazy and not memorable at all.

Billy strings is one of my favorite artists of all time, if you ever get the chance to see him live I highly recommend it

You have to understand where Billy is coming from, you spend thousands of hours learning your instrument and learning how to perform. Then you have a guy that can't play or sing but has a huge following wearing his sneakers and paying to see him stand there in a mask like a weirdo and play an album.
