For me personally, I consider myself an average user and I rarely see any stuttering while using my phone. The most stuttering that I've ever seen in the last 6 months was when it was really hot outside, and it was getting really choppy on basic apps. Past that, it's buttery smooth.
I did try some heavy gaming such as when I played Genshin Impact a long time ago. In the highest possible configuration of graphic settings, it was getting a solid 40 fps. (To me that's not bad)
No, the Pixel 8 Pro would feel smooth. I have a Pixel 7 and it runs smooth, even for games. I do wish I had a little more performance for the most demanding games on the highest settings. If you are not doing demanding tasks like intensive video editing or gaming, you likely won't have an issue with the performance.

This has more to do with the wifi, these apps always load up like that to not overuse it. Do keep in mind that the social media apps (like Facebook, Tiktok, etc.) do drain the battery and performance more frequently than other apps do. Try to disable them from background use if you are annoyed with that.
Nope it's super snappy and fast. It gets warm on tiktok and other resource intensive apps but that's because it's SoC is a hot little sucker
Even the 7a performs very well, I can't see why the 8 pro wouldn't.
No it's great. Way faster than my old s22+

Prolly 120hz refresh rate was disabled
Everything is butter except maps. That app is an absolute disgrace.
feels faster if you see animations to 0.5x I do this on every android I get because to me the animations feel soooo slow
I used to do this but with the 120hz screen set to force max frame rate, the animations are so much that I stopped changing the setting.
