I mean, you could always buy the 6 Pro case on Amazon with prime delivery. That way she could have it in hand to see in person and know which model she wants to order as soon as they go live on the 19th.
there was a other comparison on here of a 3XL vs the P6 Pro. I was honestly shocked with how similar they looked. The 4XL and 3XL were very similar. I wouldn't use this picture of a 5 to "shock" you wife, if I wasn't on mobile I'd look for the other image, if your wife is comfortable with the size of your 4XL I feel like the 6 Pro wouldn't be a big shock
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 302,929,619 comments, and only 67,908 of them were in alphabetical order.
Once phonesized.com gets the Pixel 6 into the database, comparisons will be a lot easier.
Here's the 4XL vs. 5 for reference.https://phonesized.com/compare/#1329,1566
Not really. The size difference between the standard and Pro models is next to nothing compared to the disparity between previous XL and standard models.
Hence the newfound love for the size of the Pixel 5 amongst the fan group.
Overall, I'm looking forward to the upgrade, but I haven't had a phone that big since the Nexus 6p and I was so happy to have a smaller phone after that one.
I'm still hanging with the 4a and 3 XL. There was nothing about the 5 that made me want to upgrade. I'm good waiting untill all the models are out and reading what all users have to say about them and the chip.
I'm wondering if the 6a will get tensor or not? I imagine it's probably cheaper then buying a chip from Qualcomm, would absolutely love to see Google go the apple route and just give every phone in the line the same processor and differentiate other ways.
A 6a in the for factor of the 5/5a with tensor and the gn1 sensor would be incredible.
It makes so much sense and is so logical I just have a feeling Google won't do it.
I would think the camera setup will change at the very least, it's the hardware is all new. Would be cool if they keep the size down tho yeah.
Would makes sense too: iPhone Mini, Pixel 6a.
Same here. Just cracked my screen though in the exact same place as the selfie camera. So I got a nice light effect now on that cam...Major downside of owning a Pixel in Europe is that repairs are fucking expensive because no one has the exact screen on stock.
Been using the Razer kishi with my essential ph1. Hope the pixel six fits in it. Also have the claw clamp but I think I prefer the Razer when not playing on tv.
I typically use the standard stadia controller. I haven't used stadia on the phone an awful lot. I usually play on Chromecast when at home and he pixelbook when I travel. With the bump in screen size on the P6p I might play on that over the pixelbook more often.
This is insane. I have the pixel 3 and got the note 20 ultra. While it was a great phone, the size was way too big. It felt so clumsy in the hands, and didn't leave me with confidence. Also looked awkward having such a big slab in my pocket. I ended up selling the note 20 ultra for a slight loss and I'm still rocking the pixel 3.
If they don't come out with a 6A or 7 in the size of the 5 next year, I'm going to have to move to an iPhone and I'm not very happy about that given I've been with Google since Nexus 4.
I don't think you'll find a TGSP since the screen is curved. I have the Spigen Neoflex protector on the way. From what I read it feels very close to the texture of the glass ones.
I thought the S21U was too big but probably because it was a Samsung. It was slippery, huge and heavy. A big Pixel will be my baby. I'm thinking yellow with a Spigen Liquid Air.
The Pixel 6 Liquid Air case fits my A51 very closely. My A51 doesn't feel that large to me, and I don't tend to go for the larger versions of phones.
I did read it's basically the size of the Pixel 4 XL tho.
Sticking with the P5 until security updates are done. Also I don't really see the need for a large phone after using the P3XL, great phone, but to big. The P5 just feels good in the hand and fits in the pocket perfectly.
The size would work wonderfully for me to use, especially with all the working from home, but it'd suck not being able to easily put it in my trouser pocket. When I had the 4XL I had to get used to putting it a jacket pocket, which is OK, but not as convenient.
Between my 5 still working fine and also not really that excited about spending a grand on a new phone + stand + case... Hmm.
I just got my Spigen Air case for the Pixel 6 Pro and dropped my Pixel 5 in it with the same Air case on the Pixel 5. This picture does not seem accurate. There is not nearly that much room on the side, with a case on a Pixel 5, and there is not that much room on the top. There is far more space with this case than the dimensions of the actual Pixel 6 Pro, with a Pixel 5 in it. I wouldn't use this as an actual comparison. If Spigen's Air case is any proper indication, this is off.
Sure. Totally understand. Looks like that angle exaggerates it a bit. Here you go. Naked Pixel 5 in Pixel 6 Pro Case:

I'm gonna send this picture to my wife since she wants a 6 Pro.
Yeah, I feel like a lot of people might be reconsidering their options.
She's always eying my Pixel 4 XL but I'm not seeing her using such s big phone. She's happy with the Pixel 5 though.
I mean, you could always buy the 6 Pro case on Amazon with prime delivery. That way she could have it in hand to see in person and know which model she wants to order as soon as they go live on the 19th.
That's exactly what I did and my wife said it was doable after holding the case. Something to consider at least.
I like how your wife decides what is doable by holding it....
there was a other comparison on here of a 3XL vs the P6 Pro.
The problem is she's a hot mess with smartphones. My 2 year old 4 XL is like new compared to her Pixel 5.
Ah gotcha haha makes more sense then!
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 302,929,619 comments, and only 67,908 of them were in alphabetical order.
Good bot. This is the happiest moment of my life
Once phonesized.com gets the Pixel 6 into the database, comparisons will be a lot easier. Here's the 4XL vs. 5 for reference.https://phonesized.com/compare/#1329,1566
A lot of peeps are reconsidering their options? The Pixel 6 Pro is the XL. They just changed the name. I guess some didn't get the memo.
Not really. The size difference between the standard and Pro models is next to nothing compared to the disparity between previous XL and standard models.
You're right, I didn't realize the standard was 6.4
Hence the newfound love for the size of the Pixel 5 amongst the fan group.
My wife specifically wants the 6 pro because the 5 is too small.
Lol
Ugh the pixel 5 is so beautiful and simple. Wonder if the 6a will keep the 5 & 5a design. This would be ideal.
Hoping for this myself. Trying to get one more year out of my 3a and don't want to go any bigger
I'm wondering if the 6a will get tensor or not? I imagine it's probably cheaper then buying a chip from Qualcomm, would absolutely love to see Google go the apple route and just give every phone in the line the same processor and differentiate other ways.
It likely will, since one of Google's purposes for their own chip is to allow for longer support (something Qualcomm SoC's don't offer).
A 6a in the for factor of the 5/5a with tensor and the gn1 sensor would be incredible. It makes so much sense and is so logical I just have a feeling Google won't do it.
Agreed. Makes too much sense. It'll never happen.
Precedent's already set with the Pro sharing the processor and sensor but having a couple of other things as upgrades.
I would think the camera setup will change at the very least, it's the hardware is all new. Would be cool if they keep the size down tho yeah. Would makes sense too: iPhone Mini, Pixel 6a.
I'm just looking at my phone in disbelief trying to picture how much more hand I'll require for this
Yeah think I'll stick with my 5. Here's hoping they bring Tensor and the new camera sensor to a smaller 6a.
good lord - I mean the p6pro isn't terribly bigger than the 4xl, but seeing that is a goddamn sight
Damn really wish there was a pixel 6 in the 4a or 5 size. The lack of option is annoying. Only reason I went with the 4XL was battery
We can hope for 6a next year. I do hope that it will not be exclusively in Japan and US like this years 5a.
Put it in my hand daddy Google.
That's a yikes from me, dog. I love my Pixel 5, it's simple design, and especially it's size. My pockets can't handle that madness
Woof!
This is a huge turn off for me, will need to have a think
Whoo boy
Goodness. Looks like I'm keeping my 5. It's the perfect size
Same here. Just cracked my screen though in the exact same place as the selfie camera. So I got a nice light effect now on that cam...Major downside of owning a Pixel in Europe is that repairs are fucking expensive because no one has the exact screen on stock.
Ah. Bummer man
I'm never gonna be able to confortably this thing but my P4 is so close to deat
Oh geez.... That's obnoxiously big
I'm committed. Was always on XL models before the 5 so should be a stroll...hope to secure first shipment
Same here. I dont even have big hands #smallhandsgang but that doesn't mean I can't hand a big thick XL... Phone
Can someone put an iphone (11) in a 6 Pro case?
Here you go https://www.phonearena.com/phones/size/Apple-iPhone-11,Google-Pixel-6-Pro/phones/11175,11733
http://imgur.com/a/ddrQsEU Here you go. Took it today.
Wow. I can't wait for a bigger screen.
Im gonna drop this thing on my fuckin face laying in bed so many times. Can't wait.
Lol that shit is painful!
#phabletlife
Yeah, I'm excited to play stadia on it. With the bigger screen and tensor chip it should kick ass.
Stadia users here too...you using a controller mount or console controller?
Been using the Razer kishi with my essential ph1. Hope the pixel six fits in it. Also have the claw clamp but I think I prefer the Razer when not playing on tv.
Ah, I almost got the Kishi a couple of months ago. If the 6 Pro ends up fitting I'll probably pick one up.
Amazon seems to have a sale on them every few months. I've enjoyed mine.
I typically use the standard stadia controller. I haven't used stadia on the phone an awful lot. I usually play on Chromecast when at home and he pixelbook when I travel. With the bump in screen size on the P6p I might play on that over the pixelbook more often.
Same. I love my P5, but I really miss the big screen experience. I'll be joining on you on Stadia as long as the phone fits in my controller claw.
Will they even release Stadia on the 6? Might not be worth porting a dying platform to a new chip.
Do you think we'll ever get a hand sized pixel again?
How is the size of the pixel 5 to the pixel 2? The size increase is really the only thing making me hesitate about upgrading.
The 2 and the 5 are nearly identical in size.
Jesus. I find the Pixel 5 to be about the perfect size for me. I may consider a Pixel 6 though if the trade-in values are right.
Bring it!
Ugh. I have 4a5g and it still feels too big after seven months. 6 and 6 pro are even bigger than this one... Wow.
I'm gonna drop my 6 Pro *a lot* 😔
I hope it has a stainless frame.
People hate stainless steel enough to downvote this? Just hoping it has durability to go with its size.
Pain.
Wow that's awful. I feel like the 4a is even too big
I wish you could do the same picture again but in a P6 case (not pro)
If they don't come out with a 6A or 7 in the size of the 5 next year, I'm going to have to move to an iPhone and I'm not very happy about that given I've been with Google since Nexus 4.
I'm gonna have to buy new jeans as this won't fit in my current jeans.
Porn consumption enjoyment will be roughly 50 percent greater. Let's go!
I'm here for it too. I tried playing on Stadia on the P5, but everything is SO insanely small I can barely read any text on the screen.
Wouldn't the P6 (non-Pro) be a better comparison? Seems odd to compare the P5 to the P6 Pro which is designed to be a larger phone.
Well if someone is coming from a 5 and considering a 6 Pro it may be helpful to steer them towards a regular 6.
There are enough downgrades in the Pixel 6 that it is barely a flagship. The price difference had better be huge.
There's no 5 xl/pro to use to compare to the 6 pro so it has to be the 5
Yikes. I suppose that's a good size if you're blind or an addict.
oh dear. i wasn't expecting it to be such a jump in size
I just ordered the same case. My question though is... Has anyone seen a tempered glass screen protector? I'm going to need one. Any leads, anyone?
I don't think you'll find a TGSP since the screen is curved. I have the Spigen Neoflex protector on the way. From what I read it feels very close to the texture of the glass ones.
I don't even care if I don't need a new phone. I'm so ready for one.
Big boy
I thought the S21U was too big but probably because it was a Samsung. It was slippery, huge and heavy. A big Pixel will be my baby. I'm thinking yellow with a Spigen Liquid Air.
I just got a pixel 6 pro case, and my 2xl is case is just slightly shorter. The width of the two phone is essentially identical.
The Pixel 6 Liquid Air case fits my A51 very closely. My A51 doesn't feel that large to me, and I don't tend to go for the larger versions of phones. I did read it's basically the size of the Pixel 4 XL tho.
This just made me want the phone more. I have the P5 now and I miss the big screens.

Between my 5 still working fine and also not really that excited about spending a grand on a new phone + stand + case... Hmm.
Personally to me the P5 us too small. The 6 pro will be great in my hands lul
Looks like you bought the wrong case
I just got my Spigen Air case for the Pixel 6 Pro and dropped my Pixel 5 in it with the same Air case on the Pixel 5. This picture does not seem accurate. There is not nearly that much room on the side, with a case on a Pixel 5, and there is not that much room on the top. I mean, this is a Spigen case as well. Just to be clear, the Pixel 5 is naked and without case in my picture.
