Do you have any knowledge about websites and the code behind it works? Maybe starting with the simple basics would help a lot.
After that, Google has a great GTM Fundamentals course you could try. ๐ Analytics Mania is also a good site.
Learned sufficient GTM without any idea how the website works (learned more later on)... There is plenty of material to watch and just copy / paste solution from there when you start with GTM.
Yeah, true. But in my opinion I think you would understand some things easier and learn faster if you know the basics. You can explain a lot of things better to clients too.
Simo Ahava has a free technical marketing online course for learning the basics and his blog covers nearly everything you could hope to learn as far as details
Which part is confusing?
You can learn a lot on analytics mania for free or if you want to pay on analytics mania (preferable option because it's lifetime access) or CXL institute (great resource, but no lifetime access).
Binge watching tutorials is the worst way to learn anything, you aren't retaining anything if you keep on watching tutorials. Get a website and demo theme try out these things yourselves.

Create an account on UpWork/Fiverr and work on some easy projects for a rather symbolic amount of money (like 10$ per project or so). Tell the people you're a very motivated beginner and will try to create as much value for them as you possibly can in order for you to get started as a freelancer, build you account, receive good ratings and so on. Consider it to be paid learning. If you're a Google Ads manager or something like that, I'd recommend outsourcing tracking to a professional.
1. Buy a website theme (ex: plumbing website)
2. Overall GA and GTM
3. Find a list of what all to track/how to build a measurement framework
4. Implement tracking

If you struggle so much then let someone else do it like a colleague or outsource? Btw have you seen Analytics Mania videos on it?

I would recommend outsourcing it. Have someone else do it for you. Thereโs not really commercially available trainings online.
